K & B Bridals and Event Planning

K&B Bridal has become part of my family! Not only did I find the perfect wedding dress there my sister did as well. My sister used their event planning as well. Their staff turned a barn on a family farm into a beautiful rustic reception space in just 2 days. Every detail of my sister's wedding was gorgeous and well planned thanks to her team. We could not have put together her dream wedding without K&B. When I got engaged this past October I was quick to make an appointment there. I tried on close to 20 dresses(because I wanted to try on everything to make sure I found the one) and I was never rushed or hurried. The staff stayed late on the Friday night after Thanksgiving until I was positive I had found the one. They did not make me feel like an inconvenience or bother in anyway. I rave about them to everyone I know and our whole family has been blown away by their amazing staff. They truly are part of family now. I would send anyone I knew their way!!

K&B was such a wonderful experience!! They weren't pushy at all, let me pick out all my own dresses (as many as I wanted to try on), and were VERY patient with me while I was trying them on and trying to decide. Meg was wonderful to work with - and I have to give her huge props for helping me pick the perfect dress! She found a dress that I would have never picked out myself, but somehow convinced me to try it on, and it ended up being the perfect dress for me! I was nervous that because they were a small shop, their prices would be a little high- but the dresses were very affordable! I would recommend K&B to everyone (and already have)!

I had a the best wedding dress shopping experience at K&B!! We worked with Courtney who did an amazing job making sure I tried on a variety of styles, since it was my first time trying on wedding dresses. And it was one and done with K&B, they had a great selection that fit my price range and they helped me narrow it down to the dress (belt and veil) that looked and felt the best for my BIG DAY :) My family had such a great experience finding my wedding gown, we returned for bridesmaid dresses and it was another success!! This time I felt like we made the challenge tougher for Courtney, by asking for different dress styles, designers and colors for five beautiful bridesmaids with different figures that all came together and coordinated for our vintage themed wedding!! But she made it just as easy of a decision for all of the bridesmaids and everyone left with a smile on their face! I would recommend K&B to anyone looking for wedding gowns and bridesmaid dresses! The staff was very friendly and helpful in accommodating my group on both of our dress shopping appointments!!

K&B was my 2nd dress appointment ever, and my last! From setting up the appointment to finding my dress, all at K&B were professional and pleasant. My consultant was Meghan, and she was a doll. She was as sweet as could be, listened to what I liked and didn't like, and pulled so many dresses for me. K&B, for as small as it is, has a very solid selection of bridal gowns. I spotted at least 15 that I wanted to slip into. I was the only bride there the entire time, so the 3 panel mirror and 'stage' were all mine. That made me feel so special, and un-rushed. When I first tried on 'the' dress, I had my bridal moment, but still felt I needed to be sure. Meghan was wonderful about it. She had me get into another dress, then back into THE dress, with no guilt trip! She even 'jacked me up.' Veil, jewelry, faux bouquet--all of it. After another bridal moment, I said yes to the dress. Everybody was teary eyed, included Meghan. She then took us upstairs to their bridesmaid dress collection. Whoa! So many wonderful dresses, including some styles for mothers of the bride&groom. I would whole-heartedly recommend K&B! Stay away from chain stores, where you feel like part of an assembly line, and go to K&B. Wonderful staff, fair prices, and an experience you'll never forget!

I had the joy of getting to know Bridget, Meg and Meghan by working with them for a short while. So when it came to getting my dress, there was no one else I wanted to help me find the perfect dress for my big day. Bridget helped me and you won't find anybody as caring and understanding as the ladies of K&B Bridals. They understood what I was looking for, and helped me make the right choice when it came to the gown of my dreams. The store is intamte in size so I felt like I was getting one-on-one attention. With all the stressful planning it's nice to have someone treat you like the bride. Thank you girls for all your help with making my wedding dreams come true!

I visited K&B this past Saturday and had a great experience. Courtney was very sweet and helpful. I went in with a picture of my dream dress, knowing they did not have that designer in stock, but was ok with something similar. They offered to order two loaner dresses from the designer so that I could try them.
I had another appointment scheduled at another shop later in the day and actually ended up ordering a gown from them. It was from a designer that K&B didn't have, but K&B still had a very nice selection. I actually had 3 that I was equally in love with, it just so happened I was a tad more in love at another store. At K&B we had the entire 2nd floor to ourselves which was nice.

I bought my wedding dress from K&B, which was fine. We were extremely upset with the seamstress however, as she did a horribe job with the alterations. We actually had to take the dress from her and take it to a private tailor after our third fitting. When we took it to a private tailor, she was appalled at the work that had been done on the dress at that point. She actually showed us the work, and we couldn't believe it. I informed Bridget after the third fitting of this major issue, and told her that she is doing her business a great disservice to keep this seamstress on board in her salon. I unfortunately would never refer someone there for a dress after the horrible experience we had. My advice to the owners is to have a better watch on what your seamstress contractors are doing and to check the quality of their work. It's your shop, and they have a very large influence on your business. If you do buy a dress at K&B, be sure that your seamstress is qualified! Bridget was completely apologetic and felt terrible about our situation, which we appreciated. But damage was already done, unfortunately.

Everyone at K & B was wonderful. They made the purchase of my gown a fun and easy event! I would recommend them to any bride in need of a gown.

K&B was a little bit of a drive from my house, but it was 100% worth the trip! Meg was the associate that helped me, and she was just lovely. Super sweet, and incredibly patient. I was there almost 2.5 hours, and we found the perfect dress! I feel that their prices are very fair, their selection is good, and the staff is super friendly. Also, I liked that the store was not super crowded. I went on a Saturday and I felt that I had the undivided attention of the associate without feeling like there were a ton of other people on the floor. It gave me the special attention that every bride wants.

To top it off, a week after my purchase, Meg sent me a hand-written note thanking me for my purchase. It was super sweet! A great place all in all.

K&B Bridals was a great place to shop for a dress. It was really easy to set up an appointment, my mom and I showed up and got wonderful, personalized service. I didn't know specifically what type of dress I was looking for and the girls were great about pulling different things and taking my feedback on each dress into consideration. My mom and I were extremely happy with the dress and the quality of service we received.

I purchased my dress through K&B for my October 2012 wedding and had an amazing experience with them! This was the first boutique I went to to try on dresses and the dress I went with was the third one I tried on. I explained my vision for a dress and they brought out beautiful options that were in line with what I was looking for and luckily they had the perfect dress for me. Everything about the process was seamless. The team at K&B definitely goes above and beyond. I was interested in a bolero to go with my dress since I was having a fall outdoor ceremony. I worked with the team at K&B to order extra lace from my dress and I was able to work with their seamstress to customize a lace bolero to perfectly match the dress. The end result was beautiful and I got so many compliments on the whole ensemble. I went back for several fitting trips and over time I felt like the team had become new friends. A few other positives to note - The studio is beautiful and they make sure that each bride feels taken care of so if you have a fitting, the platform with mirrors and great lighting will be yours for you and your family. They are also very responsive through email. (I planned my whole wedding through email so this helped me out a lot.) Finally, they carry great brands. My dress was an Enzoani Blue and they also carry Wtoo among other brands that in my opinion have the prettiest dresses. I'm sad I don't have an excuse to go back there anymore but I hope many more girls have the chance to have the amazing wedding dress experience as I did with K&B.

I found K & B Bridal through the Knot magazine and traveled over 2 hours to the store. WELL WORTH THE DRIVE!!! K & B was SO inviting, professional, sweet, and caring. Shout out to wonderful Meghan who worked with me over the next 8 months. She was so sweet and my mom and I felt like we have a new family member! The prices were beyond extremely reasonable and so were alteration fees. You will never feel like they are just out to sell you any dress or rip you off on alterations. I can't say enough, LOVE to K & B! Thank you so much!

For my 8/17/12 wedding, I started shopping for wedding dresses last summer and K&B Bridals was the first place that I went to. I thought that I had a firm idea of what I thought I wanted in a wedding gown, but after my Junior Bridesmaid asked me to try on K&B Cotoure ball gown she saw hanging on one of the racks, I put it on and instantly fell in love. The staff at K&B are the sweetest ladies I have ever met and they make the experience that much more enjoyable for the bride and their family.

My dress was beautiful and everything i could ever ask for!!

I went to K&B for my wedding dress, bridesmaid dresses, and groomsmen. They were great to work with and very sweet. The only problem I had is when it came to my bridesmaid dresses and groomsmen tuxes.

The girls dresses were ordered 3x a larger size than they were. My one bridesmaids dress was so big, that the way the dress was designed, the tailor could not take it in anymore. The back of her dress was scrunched and popped out.
Either the groomsmen's tuxes were too big or some were too small. One groomsman, who lived in Maryland, got measured, then went back to school in North Carolina. He could not try his pants on till our wedding day. His pants looked like shorts. They came up to his knees.... I understand he wasn't around to try them on, but that is a huge mistake! It is not like getting him a size too small or too big, they weren't long enough. He is 6'0'', so they knew he wasn't that length in pants. Not only that, but he went in to get measured once, then they lost his measurements and made him come back in to get re-measured.

All in all when it came down to my dress, it was perfect! I found one there for a reasonable price. I ordered my shoes there too, which I loved as well. The seamstress was great and very reasonable! She asked me what I would prefer she do to the dress aka how high should she bring it up from the floor, how tight, etc. She took my opinion seriously.

K&B isn't to blame for everything. I am sure I wasn't the easiest to work with. I had moved to Texas due to my husband being in the military. Also, we had to change the date of our wedding last minute due to him having military duties he had to perform, which caused us to do everything last minute. But ordering dresses 3x too big and measuring a 6'0'' man and his pants looking like shorts is not ok.

I do recommend K&B. They are great to work with! Just be sure not to do everything last minute and to check everything before the big day!

I purchased my wedding dress from K & B bridal. I loved the customer service and attention to detail from this boutique. They were so wonderful that I decided to hire them for the day of event planning. I am typically great at planning but I know that things always come up and I wanted to enjoy my special day and not deal with issues so a day of event planner seemed like the perfect choice. I worked with Bridget and Courtney. They were amazing. My bridal party even commented on how impressed they were with Courtney and noted what a fabulous job she did ensuring that my wedding was the perfect day i had envisioned. I would HIGHLY recommend K & B bridal for their wedding dresses and for their event planning.

This is a very good place to get wedding dress and dress for the whole wedding party. They were so very nice and help. They have so much to choose from.

5 stars for K&B bridal. Not only did they have exactly what I wanted, but they had an excellent seamstress, beautiful accessories and very friendly staff. We purchased my wedding gown and rented my father's tuxedo from K&B and everything was flawless. Then, just 2 weeks before the wedding we had K&B provide "day of" wedding coordination. Courtney was extremely helpful and friendly. She ran the night, and my family got to party!

Choosing K & B bridal was a no-brainer for me. They are about 5 minutes from my house and very affordable. My dress was everything I had hoped for and my bridesmaids dresses were perfect! I had no problems during the ordering process.

The location was close to home. Price of dress was very reasonable. Employees are very attentive and friendly. My dress was beautiful and flattered my full figure.

The selection in this store is great. I ended up finding my dress after trying on only 6 or 7 dresses. There are no pushy salespeople; just nice staff who are there to offer advice and comments!

My mom also found her Mother of the Bride dress here. It was the first one she tried on, too!

K&B is the best bridal boutique in the Baltimore area. The store is clean and well maintained. There is plenty of room in the store so you have ease of shopping. The dressing rooms are huge! This meant a lot to me because I don't deal well in small spaces especially when trying on wedding dresses. The sales consultants were professional. They gave you space to look but were nearby for assistance. I never felt pressured to buy which is unlike other boutiques I had shopped in. They provided honest feedback and gave me the time to make a decision without interrupting. The dresses are beautiful! Unlike other stores K&B doesn't have old style dresses that look like they've been around for ten years. They ways keep the newest styles at affordable prices. They are by far the best bridal boutique and I would highly recommend going here first. Don't even waste your time anywhere else!

I was very impressed with the service I received at K&B Bridal. I ordered my dress, bridesmaids dresses, after wedding dress, and flower girl dresses with the owner Bridget. The staff is very nice and consultative. Other wedding shops I visited I encountered pushy salespeople. Everyone at K & B is focused on making your day special and making sure you are satisfied every step of the way. My dress was a one of a kind, thanks to suggestions of the staff to change a neckline and add in custom applique work. I was very happy with the dress and happier that it was WAY under my budget. I would highly suggest that if you live in the Baltimore area, you stop by K&B. I'm sure you will be as satisfied as I was with my experience.

The staff at K&B were wonderful! My daughter went to another bridal shop in Bel Air to look at wedding dresses without success. One of the bridesmaids suggested she check out K&B because she felt they had the exact dress that my daughter was looking for. And they did! Though K&B is a small boutique, their prices are very reasonable and they have a nice selection. They also have a nice selection of dresses for bridesmaids and dresses for mother-of-the-bride/mother-of-the-groom. Harford countians, be sure to check out K&B! I highly recommend them.

My mom found the most gorgeous dress at K&B for my wedding! The staff there is so friendly and professional, and they made my mom feel beautiful. My mom has scoliosis, and the seamstress did such an amazing job altering her dress to make her comfortable about hiding her condition. If I had known about them before, then I definitely would have gotten my wedding dress from there. I also know another bride that has had a great experience with K&B as well. Go check them out!

Kara and Bridget did a good job. I was actively involved in the entire process and hired them to make sure I was on track, for ideas and suggestions, and day-of coordination. We met every other month until about 1 ½ months before the wedding and then met every 2 weeks. I appreciate the time they took with us in the meetings. I never felt rushed and always felt important. Kara even came out with me and the florist to do the walk through at the venue and help with suggestions. I think I did a great job being proactive until the last couple weeks when I began to feel overwhelmed and mentally started shutting down. They continuing reminded me what I still needed to finish. The day of, Kara and her assistant did a great job coordinating the vendors and letting us know where we needed to be when we needed to be there.

I also bought my wedding dress and we ordered our bridesmaid dresses through them. They offers a wide range of dresses for brides and bridesmaids from a variety of designers and styles. Most all of their dresses are under $1,000! I assumed I would buy my gown at a larger store but checked out their dresses because they were also my coordinators (see seperate review). I LOVE my dress and got lots of compliments. Although I didn't purchase them here, they also have some veils/hairpieces and jewelry.

I very much enjoyed working with them and you can tell them value their clients. I would definitely recommend them to any bride!

Since we do wedding makeup we are usually hired last in the long list of vendors. We ask every client to tell us about the dress. I find my brides who have shopped here pretty much wont "stop" talking about their dress and the name of the person who helped them. That is what I look for when I work with other wedding professionals. Personable, passionate, and own that they are the experts in their craft. You wont go wrong buying your beautiful dress there. They do have the best selection in gowns and the bonus on top of that is that they are very nice.

Bridget, Lauren, Meghan and the rest of the gals up at K&B are, hands down, my preferred choice when it comes to anything related to weddings:) From dresses to consulting, they have you covered!
