K2 Band

The band itself was amazing. The manager was rude and difficult to work with. He did not want to play the songs we requested dubbing them "bar songs." We were able to negotiate and have the band play the songs which ended up being the hit of the reception. I would reccomend the band if you don't mind working with someone difficult.

Unbelievable band! Caters to people of all ages. Gets the crowd going. Male and female lead vocalists- can do most styles/songs. Expensive.

Fun, talented, flexible, personable - just a few adjectives I'd use to describe K2. The band had everybody dancing all night. Oftentimes at weddings, a few songs are played where the guests decide to rest their feet for a bit, and wait to get revved up again. Well, bring comfortable shoes when K2 is playing because no one will sit down. Their two female singers in particular were so gracious when it came to things like making toasts, sliding in unnoticed to hand out a mic or hold a drink for someone (and their voices - it goes without saying - both beautiful and powerful). Their saxophonist - you'd think Leroi Moore was still with us, the man was amazing. And their male singer even learned some Weezer for us - major points!

Our guests (young and old) danced all night long. K2 played a wide range of music from Frank Sinatra to current hits. We gave them a small song list of things to definitely play and not play, but we trusted them to choose the music for the night. They did a great job and I would love to go to a wedding in the future and hear them play again.

k2 is absoutely fantastic. They have played at a few weddings that some of my friends have gone to. Always the same reviews...no one gets off the dance floor!!! Everyone raved at my wedding on how amazing their voices were and all the songs were great. They work together well as a team and are masters of their trade.

This was the best band that I've ever heard at a wedding. We have been getting raves from all of our guests about them. They play a little bit of everythign and when you meet with the band manager a few weeks before your wedding you tell them what you are looking for and then they go from there. They also learned up to 2 songs, which turned out great.

People still talk about our band over a year later. People were dancing all night long! The band was able to learn songs we wanted for special dances and played a variety of music throughout the night.

Kahootz was amazing!! I have had more people ask me about the band at the wedding than any other detail! You were all a huge hit! Everyone was on that dance floor and dancing their hearts out!

The song that my brother performed with the band was awesome...it sounded great! I can't wait to see the video! I wish I could have recorded you guys and could listen to our "wedding" music over and over again!

The whole day exceeded my expectations and that includes the band...you were marvelous!

Oh - My - God! Kahootz was UNBELIEVABLE!!

A THOUSAND thank yous could NEVER be enough! You were ALL absolutely wonderful! …everyone hasn’t stopped talking about how amazing you all were – you were THE BEST BAND I’ve ever seen at a wedding and I feel so blessed to have had you at ours!

Thank you so much…and I certainly have never sang with a better band – just that memory alone will be with me forever…

Jeb and I just got back from our honeymoon in Grenada and we had SO MANY emails to come home to and messages, ALL of them raving about our amazing band! Can I post a “proper thank you” on your website as others have done??

For now, please know that I had a blast as everyone else did and I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out – you had everyone dancing all night – it was awesome! I only hope you guys had fun too!

And to top it off, it was SO GREAT meeting you in person…you were a pleasure to work with! The moment I saw you I knew exactly who you were and felt like I’d known you for years…you kept me so calm and relaxed and in the same breath had me on my feet with my adrenaline pumping all night! (big sigh)

Dear Chris and Kahootz!

We will never really be able to put into words how memorable our wedding was and what an integral part of it you were. It has been over three months, and people are still talking about the night, and "where did you get that band?"!!!

As much as everyone says "just enjoy the night, its all about you" to the bride and groom, we still felt responsible for everyone to enjoy themselves. There was never any doubt we would have a good time, and after hearing from our guests, there was never any doubt they had a great time! You were all so amazing, and both young and old loved the music. You literally put a smile on everyone's face! At one point in the video, the videographer scans the room, and there is not one person sitting in their seat!!

We looked at three other bands before we met Kahootz, but once we heard Rachel and Leon sing, we knew you were the band for us. And Rachel and the rest of the band did such a great job learning our first dance song "Just Because" even though it wasn't on the songlist.

We can not say enough good things.... not only are you a great band and source of entertainment, you are all incredibly professional and nice! We decided on you the first time we saw you, but then went on to visit/see you at three more showcases! By the end, it felt like going to visit friends.... we just enjoyed you so much, and you made us feel that good!

Please know that if we ever have a big occasion to celebrate, Kahootz will get the call!

Again, thank you SO MUCH for making our wedding one of the most memorable nights of our lives.

We haven't stopped talking about the wonderful time we had at Jessica's wedding. We owe it all to you and Kahootz. You kept things jumping and our guests couldn't keep themselves off the dance floor.

We were the photographers at a recent wedding this talent packed team played at and we were blown away. As photographers we listen to many many bands a summer and these guys stood out! They played a massive variety of music to perfection and controlled the energy level to a "T" throughout the night!
