Kambe Original Brides


 I purchased my dress, accessories, and bridesmaid dresses through Kambe’s. The owner Kathy is amazing, as are all of her employees. She spent so much time with me making sure everything was just right. She designs some of her own dresses and headpieces. They worked with me, and made the experience wonderful. They wanted to make certain that I was always happy, and I was never rushed. Even when they had another appointment coming in, they still let me take my time and enjoy wearing the dress until I was ready to take it off. My headpiece was stunning, as was the veil, dotted with Swarovski crystals. Kathy even took the time to teach me to walk and sit in the dress. She also required my maid of honor to come in and learn how to bustle my dress, and they also drew up a detailed diagram of how it should be done for the wedding day. When looking for dresses I was torn between a dress at Kambe’s and a dress at a national chain. My decision was made when I realized that I would truly be cared for with Kambe’s, whereas I would be just a number at the other store. I am so happy with my decision, and will always be grateful for the hard work these women did to make everything perfect.

They also did all of my alterations. I could not have been more pleased. I met with them numerous times to get the dress just right. They jeweled new straps especially for my dress, added layers upon layers of tulle to poof the dress out more, and worked to get everything just right. The alterations were very affordable and done perfectly. I went back the following month to get a bridesmaid dress altered for a wedding I was in, and they did an exquisite job.

Amazing! You will not find a better place to get your dress! I found two dresses I loved - one at Kambe's and one at David's Bridal. My mom suggested to go with the one at Kambe's simply because of the way I would be treated! She was so right! From the first moment I walked in, everyone in the store was rushing to help. They helped me pick a gorgeous dress, which was actually designed by the owner, and they listened to everything I wanted. They taught me how to walk and sit in the dress, where to hold my flowers, etc. Everyone was so helpful! And the owner, Kathy is amazing. She knows everything about weddings, and bridal wear. She also designed my headpiece. And when I came in to pick up my dress and realized I didn't have a garter, she grabbed one and sewed a blue ribbon on it right then because she believed every garter needs to have something blue. I got dresses for my bridesmaids, female ushers and my mom's dress here as well. They have a great selection for everyone, and they want to make sure they get everything just right so everyone will look great. I just cannot say enough good things about Kambe's. They are phenomenal and I could not have been happier with them. It would be impossible to be disappointed.
