Karen had came to my rescue at the very last minute since there was an issue with another DOC I had orginally hired but had canceled on me 3 months before my wedding day. I am so thankful that Karen was available for my big day. She had exceeded all my expectations and even more! She is extremely professional, organized, friendly and super sweet! Everything had gone perfectly on the day of and all of our wedding day activities went smoothly as planned; I knew it couldn't have happened without Karen's help. My mom, mother in law ( who doesn't even believe we needed a DOC) and a few of our guests were even impressed by her hard work. I loved that she gave me a heads up on everything that happened on the day of and reassured me when I got a little nervous.

I cannot thank Karen enough; our wedding day was absolutely beautiful! She made me feel completely relaxed, calm and stress-free so I could just focus on having fun and enjoying the day with my new husband and all of our guests!

Karen is extremely organized and really easy to work with. As the stressed out bride, she added a calming element and re-assured that things were going to be fine, and in the end, things were fine, due to her professionalism and execution of the wedding schedule.

I hired Karen as our DOC for our wedding back in Oct 2010. Her charges were about similar to other DOC's I interviewed. I choose Karen based on the amount of positive feedbacks she had received from others and after the initial consultation; I very impressed with her organizational skills . My wife and I knew that it wouldn't have gone as smoothly without Karen's help. Karen created a detailed timeline for us and made sure that we were always on schedule. Both reception and ceremony site looked how we envisioned it.I would recommend that you meet with Karen. She is everything you would want in a coordinator. She made us feel comfortable and encouraged us to express ourselves freely. It was nice to work with a friend and not just another vendor.

My new husband and I are SO grateful to have had Karen as our day-of coordinator. We did not initially think that we would need one, but now that we know everything that goes into a wedding, we are very happy that we made the decision to hire her. She is extremely helpful, organized, and affordable. Karen helped me figure out which details I needed to work out and made sure that I was on track to get it all done beforehand. I didn't have to worry about anything on the wedding day. She was not able to attend the rehearsal due to another wedding but she made sure to give me a handout for directions on how to guide people myself during the rehearsal. Finally, what was also important to me, was that all of my friends and family would feel comfortable with all of our vendors that were there on the wedding day, including the photographers, hair/makeup, and DJ. This was definitely true for her. Karen is professional, sweet, and kind, and despite a couple glitches on the wedding day, she carried through on everything as I happily danced the night away.

When I met Karen for our initial consultation within the first 20 minutes, I knew she would be the perfect DOC for my wedding. I WAS RIGHT! During our "check-in" meetings she asked questions that helped me "cover all my bases" in terms of wedding planning. She brought up things that a normal person would never think of, but because she was a professional knew it had to get taken care of. She put together an AMAZING time line that helped all parties involved in the wedding get on the same page (which is extremely important). Karen is very attentive, detail oriented, organized, and smart. These are all qualities an amazing DOC should have. Our wedding went off without a hitch!!! Or at least I think, because Karen Lee is that good!!!!!! Karen, you've been great and so worth the $$$$. For every bride out there that is planning a wedding, my personal advice is to hire a DOC leave your wedding in good hands with Karen Lee. You wont regret it and will actually be able to enjoy the wedding you've paid tons of money on!!!!!

We would not have been able to pull off our celebration of three ceremonies, four locations, and 400 people without Karen.

Karen is friends with my husband and I've always known her to be warm and friendly. And although we are friends, Karen was extremely professional during our first official DOC meeting (which was about a month before the wedding). She had questions about the ceremonies and reception including minute logistics that we didn't even think of. At our second meeting, we ironed out all the little details and pending questions from the first meeting. She made sure she had all our vendors' and helpers' contact info along with everyone who was participating in our ceremonies (moms, dads, uncles, etc.). She is THOROUGH. She got in touch with our vendors and helpers the week of our wedding to make sure everyone was on the same page.

At our rehearsal, our officiant was running late so Karen stepped in and had us rehearse as much as we could without him. She is sweet and gentle but commands authority. Karen rounded everyone up and organized our processional and recessional so that everyone knew exactly what to do.

Second to her thoroughness, I really appreciated Karen's promptness. With three ceremonies in three different locations plus a separate reception site, we needed a schedule. Karen laid everything out for us. On our wedding day, she showed up early at my parents' house where I was getting ready and the site of our first ceremony. She stayed with us until the ceremony ended and made sure we stuck to our schedule. Karen came with us to the second ceremony and again made sure we were relaxed but on time. At the third ceremony in the church, I was feeling pretty nervous so I'm not sure what was happening while I was changing into my second dress. I just know that the moment those two doors opened and I was walking out, the church looked beautiful and our guests were all at their seats with beautiful music playing perfectly to Karen's cue.

During the reception, Karen took care of calling vendors who were running late and handling our payments so we didn't have to worry about that. She made sure dinner service started and stopped at the appropriate times, and made sure we didn't go over the allotted time for the traditional table greetings. I can't tell you how important this was for us; since we stuck pretty closely to our timing, we got to dance and spend more time with everyone on the dance floor.

Karen went above and beyond what I expected of a DOC and I can't share enough how grateful we are for her help. This was our first (and only ;) ) wedding but Karen has done many and her experience was an invaluable resource for us. If you hire Karen, you will feel so comfortable on your big day knowing that you have someone besides yourself who knows all the fine details and can execute! Karen is awesome and you will be so thankful, as husband and I are still gushing over how much we needed her.

You know you have a good wedding planner when your other vendors comment on how organized and professional she is! We had Karen as our day-of coordinator, and I couldn't have been happier. She met with me twice before the wedding to come up with a very detailed schedule, and she helped me solve some organizational problems as well as making me think of potential issues I never would have thought of myself. At the rehearsal, she knew exactly what questions to ask and made sure everything was going to be just as I wanted it. The day of the wedding, Karen kept everything one time - but it never felt like she was interfering or in the way. It just seemed as if the ceremony and reception went flawlessly - but that was because I had Karen backstage, keeping track of all the details!

Karen is amazing! We hired Karen to by our day-of-coordinator. Our day was stress free and amazing. She took complete control. I didn't have to worry about anything. We had one little glitch with my flowers and she was on the phone with the florist and had it resolved within 30 min. Everything else went off really smoothly, and it's all because of her. She is organized, professional, and thorough.

She was in contact with all of my vendors, provided a detailed breakdown of the days events, and ensured without being over bearing that we stayed on time.

In addition Karen we very flexible with us and our schedule. We have extremely tight schedules that are not at all flexible, she made her schedule work around us. We live in Sacramento and had some difficulty getting everyone to the city on time for the rehearsal. We were an hour late for the rehearsal and she was patient, friendly, and waited for us to get our families organized and to SF.

Even though we hired Karen for day-of-coordination only she was always willing to offer advice, and referrals throughout our planning.

I am a high stress, type A, organized controlling person. Karen put me at ease and ensured our day went exactly as I wanted it. She helped our vision come through perfectly . We truly had a stress-free wedding thanks to Karen.

I would recommend Karen for any event you are planning. She is amazing.

It was great working with Karen for the wedding! Karen is incredibly detail oriented and brought up points my husband and I hadn't thought of. Karen was easy to reach via email and such a joy to work with. She kept a nice flow at the wedding without being overbearing. Karen speaks Cantonese and was able to communicate with my family easily. Booking Karen's services gave us a peace of mind on our wedding day which was priceless!

All I know is that if Karen hadn't been a part of organizing my day, it would've been a mess. I had 3 different ceremonies at 3 different locations all in one day - not to mention a dinner banquet for 300 at a restaurant. From the beginning, Karen was responsive to all my emails and was very detail oriented, which I appreciated. She was always professional and kept me up to date with what I needed to have completed.

She gives each couple a questionnaire about the wedding day - and exactly what they envision. The questionnaire was intimidating, as there were so many aspects of the wedding day that I didn't even THINK of, let alone plan for it. I'm glad she gave me that, b/c it really kicked my butt into gear. Planning a wedding by yourself isn't fun and can be ridiculously stressful. I was lucky enough to have Karen help me sort my way through as the Day got closer.

Karen was also there for my rehearsal, and she was very patient - even when our parents decided to change the order of things for the wedding. On the day of the wedding, Karen and her 2 assistants were very helpful. They took care of things and delegated work to my friends/helpers in order to make sure that each location was flipped to look its best.

Even though I wasn't fully prepared for the day (forgot this, forgot that), Karen was able to improvise on the spot and make things work. She was VERY helpful and definitely recommend her!

TIP: make sure you look at her detailed schedule for the wedding day and look it over before the actual day to make sure that you have EVERYTHING listed.

When I first thought of hiring a wedding coordinator, I was very skeptical. I thought I would not need a wedding coordinator since I can just ask my friends and family to help. However, after our 1st meeting with Karen, the first thing my fiance said was, "Wow, she's just as super organized and a crazy excel user like you, I can tell she's going to be the perfect coordinator for you, you won't be able to find anyone else you like her, so don't search!" Little did I know, he knew me so well!

Karen turned out to be perfect and I could not have image how successful my wedding would have been without her help. My bridal party told me this was the 1st wedding they went to where they felt so relaxed and was able to enjoy every moment. Karen took care of everything, from pre-planning the schedule, to setting up perfectly to my detailed requirements, and even packed up everything to for me take home.

Since I am the super detailed and organized type, everyone thought I would be pretty stressed out during my wedding day. However it turned out to be the complete opposite. I put all my trust in Karen and she made my wedding day flawless. Thanks to Karen, I can truly capture all the Kodak and stress-free moments of my wedding day!

Hiring Karen was the best decision I made about the entire wedding. I contacted her just a few weeks before the big day, with a tiny budget, and she was considerate and helpful, adjusting her services to fit my means. She thought of things that hadn't even occurred to me, helped me stick to a timeline and contacted all the vendors to make sure they knew what they were doing ahead of time. Before the wedding, she drove several hours round-trip to pick up our flowers and pedestals from our florist. When disaster struck with the cake, Karen fixed the problem by finding a way to make it work. On the day, things that could have gone wrong went smoothly because she acted quickly and professionally at all times.

But what I really liked the most about Karen was that she felt more like a friend than a wedding planner. She has a great personality, is really sweet and made a big impression on my parents and all the other guests, who had nothing but nice things to say about her after the wedding.

I'll be forever grateful for the difference she made to our wedding. Even my mum agreed that without such a great wedding co-ordinator, certain things that happened could have ended in disaster. I didn't budget for a planner / co-ordinator and didn't think I would need one, but I was completely wrong. Thanks for everything Karen!

Karen is the BEST!! I hired Karen to by my day-of-coordinator, and she was by far my favorite vendor at my wedding. Everything went really smoothly, and it's all thanks to her. Karen is incredible organized, very thorough, and extremely willing to do whatever it takes to make the event a success.

I met with Karen a few times before the wedding, to pass off information and to give her an understanding of what I had in mind for the event. After that, she had everything under control. Karen created minute-by-minute schedule for the wedding. She even made individual schedules for each vendor, and contacted them all beforehand to make sure everyone was on the same page.

Karen also ran the rehearsal for us, and was there from start to finish for the entire wedding. I even forgot something for my makeup artist, and Karen made a special trip to come early to drop it off (without me even noticing that I didn't have it). Even after the wedding, Karen touched base with me to make sure I knew where everything was, and had everything I needed.

The best past about Karen is that she's so responsive. With other vendors, I often had problems with delayed responses to emails, phone calls, etc. I never had that problem with Karen. She was always on top of it, quick to help, and eager to accommodate any last minute changes.

I had a really stress-free wedding (as it should be!) and I owe it all to Karen. She is sweet, friendly, organized, knowledgeable, and responsive -- everything a coordinator should be. I HIGHLY recommend her as a wedding coordinator.

We got married recently and were lucky enough to have been able to book Karen as our coordinator. She was truly fabulous. She helped us plan out every little details of our wedding day. She is meticulous in very thing she does, from the schedule of the day to the transportation arrangements. Having her there allowed us to relax and enjoy our special day. She took the time to listen to what we wanted and made our visions a reality.

I would recommend that you meet with Karen. She is everything you would want in a coordinator. There are a lot of coordinators/planners out there, but I would rate Karen as among the top 5 in the SF bay area. We were very picky with our vendor selection, and had the hardest time finding a planner that is truly detail oriented and have a passion for planning weddings. When we initially interviewed Karen, we knew right away that she would be a prefect match for us. She made us feel comfortable and encouraged us to express ourselves freely.
