I bought my Wedding Dress from Karen's Boutique (they recently moved to Eureka, MO) and I couldn't be happier with the service that I got. I bought my dress the same day I tried it on because I was so impressed. Karen even stored my dress for me until I was ready to get it alterted. She even rigged by Dress Cover with tissue paper so my fiance (now husband!!) couldn't sneak a peak. They were wonderful and I am really happy with my choice in choosing them to purchase my Wedding Dress! :)

I went to many bridal stores until I found THE DRESS (from Sottero&Midgley) at Karen' Bridal. Betty, the owner is a very nice older lady and she is providing the best, personal service you can get! Also the alterations lady is very sweet and she did a fantastic job taking in the top, sides and bottom of my gown and added a buzzle underneath - all within a couple weeks. Prices are reasonable and a free veil is included. My wedding was out of state and I received a travel bag as well as a steamed gown before I left. I got soo many compliments on the dress and it felt absolutely amazing and fitted perfectly!!

The ladies at Karen's Wedding Boutique couldn't be sweeter or more helpful. They knew exactly what type of dress would look good on my body type and were ever so patient helping me try on dresses. When my actual dress did come in, they let me wear it around for a while in the store and just enjoy it. They stored and steamed my dress so it was ready to go for the wedding. Betty in particular was fabulous and showed me how to fold the train so it wouldn't get wrinkled while sitting. They were the perfect shopping experience and will recommend everyone to them!

I purchased my wedding dress from Karen's. They were extremely helpful and always willing to stay after hours because I work during their normal hours. They did my bustle and it had about 20 hook/ties which were color coded. Surprisingly it was fairly easy to do the day of the wedding and it looked beautiful! I would definitely recommend Karen's Wedding Boutique.

The service at Karen's is great, and we had no issues with our order. However, the alteration service is extremely pricey and of poor quality. My bridesmaid paid twice as much as I did just to have her gown hemmed... and I was the bride!! I had my gown altered at a different store, and I wish I'd sent my bridesmaids there instead. My mom also had her gown straps added to her dress, and halfway during the reception, they fell off! My gown cost entirely too much to have it pressed as well, so that was very disappointing. I would recommend the store for ordering dresses, but I would absolutely forewarn brides about the seamstress quality and prices. Go somewhere else to get your dresses hemmed and altered!

I got my bridesmaid dresses through Karen's. This is a mother-daughter run store. The ladies were very nice. One of my bridesmaids waited until the very last minute to order her dress, but luckily their dresses arrived early so the girls could get their alterations done.

This quaint shop is run by a very nice woman and her elderly mother and they are some of the nicest and most genuine people you will ever meet. If you purchase a dress from them, it comes with a free veil, and they will store it for you until your wedding.

Betty and Jean were fantastic! Not only did they create a masterpiece in a month -they were so kind and considerate to make my bad situation more calm. Originally my dress was purchased from I do I do bridal. After a month late and the wrong color, I opted to have the alterations at Karen's. Jean did amazing work - I would reccomend her to anyone. She had wonderful ideas and knew exactly how a bride should look. I owe the success of my wedding to them. I wish that I had ordered my dress from them in the first place.

I loved the dress I got for my wedding, which was Maggie Sottero, called Diana Royale, in champagne. Karen's Bridal helped me find it, and even stayed open late on numerous occassions so I could get in for a fitting after the dress had been order. The saleswoman is not at all pushy, and very aware that you just have to find the right dress. She was patient with me and I was really happy with everything they did. I gave them low marks for flexibility only because I had to order my dress 5 months in advance from them (which I suppose is more an issue with Maggie Sottero than with the dress shop), and had to get my bridesmaids fitted a few months in advance of the wedding. But everything came in on time! Oh, also, she gives a small discount on bridesmaids dresses if you buy the wedding dress there.

We had a great time with Karen's Bridal Boutique and loved the dress that I wore. The only challenge arose with the alterations, though the seamstress was very sweet. We had problems getting the dress to fit and the bustle took hours to get pinned. Then the day of the wedding we had problems getting the bustle up and had to use safety pins because some of the hooks and eyes were sewn in backwards.
This issue isn't that big of a deal; I would just suggest getting the person who will be doing the bustle on your day to go with you when you pick up the dress and try it on one more time just to be sure everything is where it should be. Our experience could have been an exception to the normal output.

I found my dress at a different store, but bought it here because they threw in a veil for free. The ladies were very nice. The dress came in when they said it would.
I didn’t need a lot of alterations due to a corset back and petite length. My bustle was ok, but not exactly what I wanted. She tried to make me happy, but in the end the bustle I wanted did not work with the gown I chose.
