Karen Stump Photography

I have not even received my photos back from Karen, and I know they are going to be breathtaking! She photographed my sister's wedding in 2006, and those were amazing. Karen was so helpful throughout our big day and asked all the right questions to make sure we got what we wanted. The best thing is that Karen is so stealth in her picture taking! You hardly even know she's there. My husband and I can't wait to see the pictures she's taken. Also, on a side note, Karen recently moved her business, but travelled through several states to maintain her commitment to us! Wow! Awesome!

Fantastic! My husband and I are so happy we selected Karen Stump as our photographer. We knew from her portfolio that she could capture a variety of great wedding shots - portraits, candids, outdoor, black and white - and she more than exceeded our expectations, both on our wedding day and on our engagement photo session. Our wedding was at Holly Hills Country Club, and Karen knows the site very well - we're especially pleased with the beautiful outdoor scenes she photographed there, from us on a covered bridge to surrounded by tall grasses to cattails. Our engagement photos at Baker Park also include great images of us by the bell tower, the gazebo, the covered bridge, the fountain, and more. I would enthusiastically recommend Karen Stump as a wedding photographer.

Karen is one of the easiest people to work with. She is awesome at communicating online, she takes awesome pictures, and is willing to take any specific pictures you want. Even if you don't have an idea of what you want going in, you get awesome results.

Karen's photos were excellent! It was so easy to communicate with her - especially considering the bride resides in GA, but the bride's family is in MD. Karen was awesome at the three-way communication we needed. Thanks Karen!

Karen was a fantastic photographer. Before the wedding she was accessible and took time to talk to us about all the details we wanted captured. At the wedding, she was extremely professional - some of our guests didn't even notice that a photographer was present. Her pictures, both candid shots and portraits turned out beautifully. She made us feel very comfortable in the posed shots (we had already realized this talent of hers at our engagement session). We have beautiful albums, professional prints and high resolution image files, and everything was completed in close collaboration with us and in a timely manner (and for a very good price!). I highly recommend Karen to every bride - it takes away a lot of stress to know that you have a reliable and capable photographer who is able to capture the essence of your most beautiful day.

I expected more from this vendor. We were given an apprentice photographer who was not very good at giving direction when taking the group shots, so some of our pictures did not come out very well. We had to yell at her during the picture taking. We had friends taking their own pictures, and she would wait for them to finish taking their shots before she continued. We had to remind her that she was the one being paid, and she needed to do her job. The pictures turned out alright, though we had a friend who took MUCH better photos, so we didn't lose the memory of the day

she was a phenomenal photographer. Well worth the money. The pictures came out great! I think they belong in a bridal magazine!!

Karen Stump Photography was exceptional and i would recommend her to all. She spent all afternoon and evening at the wedding, from getting ready to the bride and groom departure. Her demeanor and attitude was fun and expert. The photographs are beautiful and the settings she chose were gorgeous. I would use Karen again at a moments notice.

Karen herself was great. She enthusiastically and descretely did boudoir pictures of me for my husband, which turned out fantastically! It was an unbelievable wedding gift that he was floored by, and I could not have asked for a better photographer to do them. She made me feel comfortable and relaxed.As for our wedding, however, we booked Karen's assistant. While the photographs turned out beautifully, we were disappointed with some of the portrait selections. For instance, my husband and I only have a handful of portraits of us together alone, and none of them is really great. To us, a great portrait was a big thing, so it was a big let-down. I need to emphasize again that all of here candid pictures turned out wonderfully, and she was willing to photograph whatever we asked for. Karen Stump Photographers will only book one wedding a day, which means you do not have to worry about them having to rush out on you for another appointment!

Karen and her assistant are awesome. They did a wonderful job capturing candid shots as well as posed. She worked very well with the bride and groom and made sure they were happy. I highly recommend Karen Stump Photography for any event!!
