Kate takes the most beautiful photographs I have ever seen. Her art is beyond the category of "wedding photography."Her approach as a photo-journalist, her eye for detail, her skill at capturing candid moments, and her use of light created a portfolio of pictures that capture the true essence of who my husband and I are as people, the nature of our relationship, and the intimate moments shared with friends and family. I am moved every time I look at the photographs from our wedding day and our engagement session. As amazing as she is as an artist, Kate is equally wonderful as a person. We first fell in love with her photographs, and when we met her at our Getting to Know You Session, we immediately fell in love with her as a person. Kate was able to make us feel truly at ease, and the evidence is the photos.Having her around on our wedding day provided the kind of comfort one has with an old friend. She was there with us when we got ready, when we said our vows, and when we danced the night away. The result is an authentic archive of our wedding day, captured in beautiful frame after beautiful frame. I cannot recommend Kate highly enough, and if it were possible, I would give her 10 out of 5 stars!

I do not think I could give Kate Harrison enough praise for her work on our wedding.  From start to finish - she was amazing!  After our first phone conversation, I knew she had to shoot our wedding.  She is so fun, positive, and LOVES love....you can see it in her work.  She made us comfortable in front of the camera at our engagement session and made it all about us at the wedding.  After the wedding, I was in awe of her pictures.  She really captures the moments and that is exactly what I wanted.  We just received our wedding album today - and she leaves no detail untouched.  If we did it all over again, we wouldn't change a thing - especially having Kate as our photographer!!!

Oh man, where do I begin? I'm going to gush here, but really, she deserves it. I think about Kate and I get butterflies in my stomach- the kind you get when you've met one of your idols and you're totally starstruck, or when you can't believe that the most popular girl in school invited YOU of all people to her birthday party. Kate has more talent in the little finger that pushes her shutter button than most people will see in a lifetime. For real. SO nice. SO stylish. SO fiery. SO passionate and excited about her clients. She captures raw spirit, emotion, beauty, truth, fun, and love. Her vision, eye for detail, professionalism, artistry, spunk, funk, joie de vivre and genuine LOVE for her job are all ever-present both in person and in her photography. Seriously, this woman is genius. She rocks my socks off and I guarantee she'll rock yours too, if given the chance. You would do yourself a disservice if you don't hire her.

awesome awesome awesome. absolutely the best photographer you could find. she traveled across the country for my wedding & was still affordable for above & beyond quality. Kate is a charming woman with a great heart, a great creative force oozing talent, and demonstrates a palpable love for her job. I feel so lucky that I will be able to hang works of art that happen to be my memories in my home.

Kate is an amazing wedding photographer. To me, the wedding photographer was one of the top three most important vendors that we hired because when the day is all over, the pictures are what you have left to remember all the special moments by. I knew I liked Kate’s style as she had photographed two of my friends’ weddings and you can view her work on her blog. However, I was blown away by the pictures of our wedding. She really listened to everything about the style of pictures I liked and they couldn’t have come out perfect. Kate did an amazing job of capturing each and every moment, all without you even noticing that she was taking your picture. She has such enthusiasm for her job and an amazing eye. We were so happy with Kate, we can't gush enough about her. She was super accommodating and was open to any ideas/thoughts we threw her away. Kate was not only creative, she was so easy to work with and provided such quality work. We are so happy that she was able to shoot our wedding for us. Those pictures will be with us for the rest of our lives and we are so happy we got to have a photographer that not only complimented our style, but gave us amazing photos. We loved our photos so much we keep showing off to our friends, which I'm sure they are super sick of! Kate was everything a wedding photographer should be and more! We hit it off at our first meeting. She was sweet and professional and we knew right away she'd be a great fit. Throughout the planning stages, Kate was very responsive and seemed just as thrilled as we were to be working together. On the day of, she was the first to arrive at the destination. During the event, she was always right where she needed to be to document all the important pieces of the wedding, yet at the same time was able to gracefully blend into the background so that we hardly knew she was there at all. My guests were impressed, and had many wonderful things to say about her friendliness and professionalism. Post-wedding, we were able to view our pictures while we were still on our honeymoon and we couldn't have been more pleased. Kate was an extremely professional and warm person to be around. She made our wedding day a breeze, took photos in a timely yet creative manner and was able to keep us on track with the schedule for the afternoon. Kate did a wonderful job photographing our wedding! She got amazing pics and really caught all the great moments. She is easy to work with, professional, and reasonably priced.
