I LOVE Katie! We were referred to her by another photographer and were thrilled by her personable touch and outstanding final products. She’s very good at what she does and even my husband (who has a background in photography and film) was comfortable enough to let her direct what images she felt would best portray our personalities and event. I’ve always really loved the sort of photojournalism approach to photo sessions that not only catch the mood of events but also tell the story. I looked at several photographer portfolios and every book Katie provided, as examples were stunning. Post event she really takes the time to select the best photos and include an online slide show, which was great to share with guests after event. My final photo album might be the coolest book I’ve ever seen. I can’t imagine money better spent.

Kate is awesome! It’s almost hard for me to put into words how happy we were with Kate and our finished photography. Photography was number one on our list of importance when we started planning our wedding, we met with a lot of photographers and Kate was the cream of the crop. Her photographs are beautiful and she has a great, natural, photojournalistic style that makes all of her subjects look fantastic. Plus, she has a great personality and is so easy to get along with – very important since she was basically with me from start to finish on my wedding day. Kate is non-intrusive, but gets all the emotional and amazing shots you’d want from your wedding day. We have recommended Katie to all of our friends and feel very blessed to have found her. Kate will be our family photographer forever – she’ll be taking pictures of our kids when the time comes.

I would give her a 6 if I could. Kate was the best of all the services provided to us. Her photography is just stellar - I can't say enough about her way with the camera and the clients. She captured all of the important things of the day: laughter, playfulness, intimacy, faith. Because we didn't have a budget for a videographer AND a photographer, I knew that we needed to find the best photographer we possibly could, and we absolutely found it with Kate. I've looked at my wedding photos dozens of times! She and her whole crew were professional, prompt with the finished product, and of the highest quality. I've recommended her to friends and family and have successfully nabbed a few into going with her, too.

We ended up splurging a little on the wedding pictures, and I’m so glad we did. Kate did an amazing job, and she was able to perfectly capture the day as it unfolded. Kate has a wonderfully creative and artistic eye, and she takes beautiful candid shots which take you right back to that moment. Her work is stunning! I am beyond pleased with my wedding and engagement photos. I feel so lucky to have perfectly captured memories for such a special and important day. In addition to her beautiful work, Kate is friendly, kind, and a joy to work with. She’s the type of person that once you meet her, you feel like you’ve known her your whole life. I highly, highly recommend her.

I loved our wedding photos so much, I used Kate for both maternity and family photos as well. She is very good at capturing the moment and getting you and everyone else relaxed enough to take a good photograph.

If I could give a rating of 6 I would! Katie is off the charts in terms of a fabulous photographer. She just captures the moment in a way that makes you feel like you’re right in that moment again when you look at the picture after the fact. There’s a sense of emotion in each picture. Katie includes an engagement photo session in the package and those were priceless. The wedding photos and especially album were amazing. I still look back at the pictures and am amazed at how well Katie captured the wonderful moments.
