From the beginning, looking at potential vendors for the wedding cake, Kate Crandall presented herself and her business as classy, enthusiastic, respectful and very professional. She listened carefully to myself and my (now) husband on what we wanted. We could contact her anytime with any questions or concerns. Not only is she everything you look for in a baker, her prices are reasonable as well. I ordered a surprise groom's cake from her in the shape of a Lakers basketball jersey (chocolate cake/chocolate mousse). Our wedding cake was picture perfect as well, and everyone thought the handcrafted sugar flowers were real! That cake was cinnamon-chiffon with white chocolate mousse. Everyone loved the cakes and talked about both of them non-stop. We even had people like my sister, who ONLY eats chocolate cake devour some of the cinnamon cake! We will definitely become repeat customers of Kate's Kakes and her fabulous creations.

Kate's Kakes is the perfect choice for your wedding cake needs! Our cake was the most delicious cake I've ever had!! I have compared cakes at every wedding that I've been to since, to the one she baked for our wedding! She was able to make the cake that I pictured in my dreams, and able to match the fondant accents on the cake to the color of my flowers and bridesmaid dresses! It was, by far, the most perfect looking and tasting wedding cake that I've ever had, before or since! I'm hoping that she will be able to bake my baby shower cake next year!
