My wedding flowers were absolutely stunning! I would recommend her to anyone that would listen to me...she did such an amazing job! So much more beautiful than I could have imagined. In fact, the morning of the wedding when James, her driver, delivered my bouquet and my bridesmaids flowers to my parent's house, I was dancing around the kitchen like a little girl...and when I called Maria to thank her before James left and she told me to run out to the van to get a sneak peek at the centerpieces, I was even more blown away. They were soft and romantic and just perfect! Thank you again Maria and James too! : )

Maria is such a gem to work with. I do not live in the Savannah area so I just had to show her pictures of the things I liked. She did not disappoint. Our flowers were absolutely stunning. Even our photographer asked who did our flowers so she could start recommending her to her clients. And for the price, she cannot be beat. I called around when I was first looking for a florist and her price was by far the most affordable, yet the quality was still there. My flowers and bouquets were absolutely breathtaking. My bridal bouquet was beyond what I even envisioned. Maria Kato took the photos of what I wanted my bouquets to look like and went above and beyond. The decorations for the church and reception were amazing. She even visiting the church 3 times to develop the perfect set of custom decorations. She also gave complimentary flowers to put outside the church. Maria is such a nice lady and so very talented. I planned our Savannah wedding all the way from Wisconsin. Maria worked with me for an entire year via email and phone. She is so prompt and checked in with me many times throughout the year just to make sure the planning was going well. Her prices are amazing and she is willing to work with you if you are on a budget. The flowers.......oh the flowers! I was truly blown away by her amazing work. Our intimate ceremony was in a charming courtyard of a house we rented on Jones street. Maria went and visited the house for me and sent pictures since I coud not visit until two months prior to the wedding. She transformed the courtyard into a beautiful garden full of flowers and spent days contsructing a beautiful curly willow arch. My bouquet was even more amazing than I imagined it would be. I could not believe all the flowers that we got for our money. Maria also cleaned up the ceremony flowers and brought them to our reception site which really added a lovely touch to the room. She goes above and beyond. You will not be sorry if you book Maria for your wedding or event! Her work and professionalism are truly fabulous! I could not be happier with how things turned out.

Kato Flower Designs is an excellent choice for event flowers! Maria Kato worked diligently to select bridesmaid and accent flowers that matched the event colors but remained within budget and was designed as closely as possible to match preferred examples. She creatively designed the bridal bouquet from paper, wood and ribbon making regular phone calls and sharing photos of the work in progress until the bouquet matched the vision. She even delivered the flowers the day of event and returned with extra ribbon at the last minute. Price, customer service and quality - she was one of my favorite vendors!

My GORGEOUS bouquet was one of my very favorite parts of my wedding. It was beautiful, fresh, unique and exactly what I wanted and more. Angie was always very quick to respond to e-mails, flexible when my flower needs changed and e-mailed me photo after photo to make sure she knew exactly what I had envisioned. Maria was wonderful. We held a destination wedding in Tybee Island. We contacted Maria concerning the bridal bouquet and the other flowers we needed. Let me start by saying that I could not have dreamed of working with a better florist!!

From our initial meeting until the day after the wedding, Maria was amazingly creative, efficient, and professional. She took my verbal ideas and pictures and designed the image of my dreams. She was always honest (regarding pricing, flowers that complimented each other, and seasonal selections). She was receptive to my ideas and worked to help me pay tribute to my father within my bridal bouquet, which was sincerely important to me. As I planned a destination wedding, most impressively to me, Maria consistently responded to my emails within 24 hours and normally she responded within one hour.

Between the flowers that we wore/carried during the ceremony and those used as decoration during the ceremony to the beautiful red roses in vases of different sizes, candles and greenery used to decorate the tables at the reception to the oversized urns with an array of roses, calla lillies and multiple other flowers of varying colors our family and friends all recognized the time and effort that Maria put into to making our celebration a piece of art.

It was as if Angie Maria could read their minds. Angie communicated with Brittany, her sister Lindsay, the father of the bride whom insisted on being active from the very start, and me the mother of the bride excessively and made the entire process so much fun. The beauty just grew. We all shared our ideas. Angie Maria listened and made "it" happen even more beautiful than we had imagined. Angie Maria definately had her work cut out for herself, but never blinked an eye and always wore a smile. This was our first baby getting married. We insisted that everything be perfect for her day. Angie Maria Kato was fabulous in every way. Her creative talent, remarkable service, promptness and responsiveness was second to none. Flexibility should be Angie Maria's middle name. Professionalism is very important to me and there was evidence of professionalism from day one all the way through day 356. We planned an entire year. This was a large wedding and it went off without a hitch. I remember sitting down with my husband in the courtyard outside under the stars of the reception area while most of the party was inside. My husband and I were surrounded by the beauty of Angie Maria's flowers, gold manzanita trees with swarwoski crystals, roses, peonies, greenery, candles and petals galore. We looked at each other and we both knew that we had all dione a great job and the dream had unfolded beautifully. We were so in awwwwww and so pleased. Brittany's wedding was covered in the Savannah Wedding Magazine and we are still getting comments that Brittany's wedding was stunning, amazing, spectacular, and extremely beautiful. Our Brittany said the wedding and flowers were "to the moon and back again". Thank you Angie Maria. Our dream was to give our daughter the wedding that she so deserved and has dreamed of her entire life. You made that dream come true and we will always be so thankful to you.

Cant say enough good things about Kato Floral Designs. She has an eye for beautiful flower arrangements! I can't recommend Maria from Kato Floral Designs enough. Not only is she a brilliant floral designer, but having Maria as one of my vendors was like having a friend with me for the wedding planning process. She checked in with me multiple times before and after my wedding - sometimes just to say hello and see how things were coming - another time to make sure I was safe as hurricane Irene passed. She was by far one of our most thoughtful vendors and we would hire her all over again if we had the opportunity.

I gave Maria quite a laundry list. And I changed my plans on her more than once. Maria never batted an eye. She took each unique request and change of plans with ease, a positive attitude and a genuine interest in helping me feel calm and excited about my wedding. She was never impatient with me and always confirmed our next plan of action.

NOW...her work is something of true artistic talent. Maria made gorgeous table arrangements for our ceremony, as well as provided unique jars for us to rent from her for our candy station. Her arrangements were whimsical, elegant and extremely professional. She was always willing to entertain my suggestions, like using fresh culinary herbs, and knew exactly how to take my ideas and transform them into professional floral design. When I arrived at my reception to see her work for the first time I was both reassured that she understood perfectly what I had envisioned and so pleasantly surprised by the added elements of design I couldn't have come up with myself. It was better than I imagined and Maria surprised me in the best kind of way.

I didn't have a wedding planner and I don't live in Savannah, so it was really important that I got a great vibe from my vendors and felt like I could trust them. Maria was amazing, from start to finish and I would recommend her to anyone planning an event in Savannah. If any brides are considering planning a destination wedding in Savannah, I found Maria to be available at a moment's notice. She replied to emails instantly and was happy to hop on the phone to chat whenever I needed. She even showed up the day before my wedding to meet me at our ceremony location!

When I called her she promptly got back to me and it was like that ever since. She was so prepared to walk me through the steps to plan my floral arrangements. She was so kind and so patient with me especially when I had no clue where to begin. And the quality of the work?! It was absolutly amazing! I was in awe of how much she did for my meger budget. She went above and beyond and let me borrow and ilse runner when I had forgotten that on my list of things to-do. Angie was great to work with, she was dependable, early, and very flexable. I was not disappointed!

The bouquet was unique and beautiful and the boutonniere was exquisite. The flowers were delivered on time and were flawless.

Maria was fantastic. Her flower arrangements exceeded my expectations and even the toss bouquet was beautiful. She understood exactly what I wanted and delivered it on the wedding day. Her communication was excellent and I felt very comfortable with her throughout the process.

I am always amazed by Angie's beautiful arrangements, her bridal bouquets are nothing short of unique and exquisite! I highly recommend her!

Maria and I had the privilege of working together on a bridal shoot some time ago. Let me just say that her designs were absolutely AMAZING!!! She took photos I provided and went above and beyond my expectations, adding intricate details like jewels to the bouquet and beautiful flower balls to hang from the trees at our shoot. Everything was so colorful and fresh. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a creative and detail-oriented floral designer and can't wait to work with her again in the hopefully very near future!!
