Katrina's Cakes and Creations

At our first visit we got to sample four types of cake (white, chocolate, lemon poppyseed, and almond), each had a different flavor and type of frosting (buttercream and fondant) and she had two kinds of fillings to taste. She explained the cost of each, went over decorative designs with us, and found out location and time. We got to look at her portfolio and she had some beautiful cakes! She was very flexible and we were able to settle on a design that was a combination of her other cake designs. We put down a deposit that very day.

My husband and I took a long time deciding flavors and she was very nice about us getting her that information late (at least it was a week ahead). We also didn't have a swatch of our color (blue) to give her but she matched it perfectly just from our description. We had a beautiful cake delivered on time, just as we had discussed, and it was absolutely delicious. She hand crafts all of her flowers out of sugar (no pesticides) and they were stunning! It was simple, sleek, and exactly what we wanted.

I would definitely choose her again for any other occassion that calls for cake. She was extremely professional and very nice!

When I initially met with Katrina, I was very impressed by the quality of the cake samples that she offered as well as her professionalism and knowledge as she helped me figure out a cake design. Later on, when I, as many brides do, changed my mind and wanted a cake that looked like a picture that I had found, she was very willing to accomodate me. When I mentioned that we were having a hard time deciding on flavors for the cake, Katrina took the time to make me a sample cake of a flavor that we weren't sure about. On the big day, Katrina arrived at the venue and set up the cake exactly when she said she would and the cake looked beautiful - exactly like the picture I had sent her - and tasted GREAT. Our guests RAVED about the cake (flavors were lemon with raspberry preserves for one layer and banana with chocolate ganache for the other layer) and many continued to comment on it even after the wedding. Overall, I found Katrina to be extremely professional, responsive (often answering my emails within the hour), and talented, and her product was beyond great. (Her prices are extremely reasonable as well and she even gave us a free anniversary cake so that we wouldn't have to worry about saving the top layer.) I would definitely recommend her services to anyone and would be happy to use her again.

Katrina was absolutely pleasant. She did a wonderful job on our wedding cake, and though my husband and I didn’t get to taste much of it we heard it was great. She was very flexible to work with and she created just what I wanted. Her prices are extremely reasonable and we would highly recommend her.

My cake was EXACTLY what I wanted. She did an amazing job! I was so thrilled when I saw the cake and then when I tasted it I was just blown away. It was gorgeous and delicious. I wanted a pretty cake, but taste was even more important to me. It had to taste good. It was great. Katrina is polite, helpful, and sooooo nice to work with. It really was a pleasure working with her.
