Katya and Rob photographed our wedding in March 2013 in Punta Cana. Her photographs are just perfect!

We found her after going through lots of websites from photographers that work in Punta Cana and wedding websites. For us the photographs were one of the most important things for the wedding, and we needed to get it right and not just "ok". After seeing Katya's blog and her photographs from other weddings we were just so impressed! They were so different and stunning, we immediately fell in love and wanted the same for our wedding; this is what we got, our photographs are exactly what we wanted.

In terms of communication, it was always good and timely, her emails were clear and informative, from the beginning it was clear what we would get and what were our options, she is really professional!

Katya and Rob are a great couple, they complement each other and it was great to have two photographers working on our wedding day capturing different points of view. During the wedding it felt that they were part of our great friends. Even when things didn't go perfectly they behaved like friends helping us out through everything, we are thankful, and we really appreciated their presence and support!

Choosing Katya Nova Photography for our February 20, 2013 wedding was one of the best choices we made. Katya and Rob really cared about us and went the extra mile to ensure that they captured all the important moments of our day. They are an awesome team and we enjoyed having them at our wedding. Katya, in a word, was amazing. She is obviously passionate about being a photographer and about capturing weddings. She made both my husband and I feel very comfortable in front of the camera, even though we aren't totally spotlight people. Her pictures speak a million words and I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone! I hope to be able to work with her at some point in the future!! We made the perfect choice in choosing Katya!

It all started with an extensive research for a photographer that will shoot our destination wedding in Punta Cana. We were lucky to find Katya Nova Photography and by looking at their work on their website, we knew this was the kind of style we wanted to have. Then we had the opportunity to skype with Katya and after 2 minutes of chatting with her, we knew they were the ones..

We fell in love with this couple from the first time we saw them. They transmitted a peaceful and positive vibe from the get go.

Katya and Rob are not only extremely professional but they involved themselves to the very maximum to make us feel very comfortable and completely pleasant with their work.

They were not only our photographers, they were our guides, motivators and friends. They went out of their way and beyond to deliver the story of our love in the most important day of our lives.

Despite the fact that we were extremely exhausted after our wedding reception, we were excited to wake up at 5:30am to shoot sunrise thrash the dress session. It was one of the most beautiful settings I've ever experienced, being surrounded by ocean, sand, an incredible sky, love, cool music (provided by katya's boom box) and these two made this moment totally worth it.

It is common to say... you got to love what you do, to do it right... These two are amazingly in love with their work, with their couples and with each other and all of it is projected with their presence and the overall result of their work.

We are totally in love with our pictures and happy and thankful to call Katya & Rob friends.

Katya and Rob are AMAZING photographers in more ways than just taking some pretty pictures. They truly captured the moments and feelings of our wedding day....it is artistry at its finest. Not only is their photography amazing, but Katya helped me with planning our destination wedding...since she herself lives in Punta Cana and has planned her own destination wedding there, I trusted her opinion and suggestions... she helped me make important decisions from afar. On the wedding day, they are a huge asset by bringing top knotch professionalism and positive energy with them.

I've never had such a connection with with a complete stranger. Although we had never met until the day of my wedding, it felt like I knew Katya all my life, and it was as if I was meeting up with an old friend. I was all a ball of nerves the night before the wedding, she left me her cell number in a email and asked to call her if anything; and I did!. We talked for a good 15-20 minutes, and she completely calmed me down. Taking pictures with her, you felt so comfortable, and she was extremely professional. Her husband Rob spent time taking pictures of the groomsmen, and they felt the same way!
Katya & Rob are more than just photographers, they are such True Artists, and their passion shows through their quality of work.
Through our 'homework' they assigned us, and how they remembered everything we answered demonstrates just how much time & effort they INVEST IN THEIR CLIENTS to sincerely know and understand them. To them, It isn't just about taking a photograph, its about capturing the essence of the love that is shared between 2 people, and their families. The way they can convey the moment, the movement, the emotions through their photographs, the warmth, the love, is something that I just haven't seen anywhere else. Every photograph, and I mean EVERY photograph is just gorgeous, timeless.
I would highly recommend this amazing team team. We will definitely be using them again!

I was a bridesmaid in my friend's destination wedding at Now Larimar in Punta Cana where Katya & Rob were the phenomenal photographers. I highly recommend them because of how extremely professional and personable they are. Their photos are unique, intimate and impeccable.
The night before the wedding Katya calmed down the bride, Lisa and reassured her that everything would flow smoothly. As we got ready, Katya blended in and we didn't even notice that she was there capturing all the candid moments of the hustle and bustle.
Rob was fantastic too with his cool demeanor to keep the groom, Mike, composed and comfortable. The guys immediately adopted him.
The couple truly captured the essence and mood of the wedding. The photoshoot on the beach was so fun! They brought portable speakers and blasted Empire State of Mind as our soundtrack. Strolling down the beach with us, Katya & Rob made it so enjoyable!
I was blown away by the pictures. The newlyweds looked like models or celebrities by bringing out their natural beauty. The finishing touches, the selection of shots and the still photos that looked like the background was still moving proved that Lisa & Mike chose the perfect photographer couple to preserve that special day.
Katya & Rob are not only a wonderful pair of photographers, but their positive loving vibes are infectious. The newlyweds would not stop raving about how spectacular their first look went. From the pre-wedding homework given to the bride and groom, Katya & Rob chose a song special to the couple - "Somersault by Zero 7". As it played in the back, hearing it and seeing each other as bride and groom for the firs time touched their hearts and moved everyone to tears.

Katya was wonderful to work with, months before our wedding they wanted to get to know us and what made us tick as a couple. One thing we didn't want in a photographer was basic cookie cutter images. We wanted spur of the moment candid images that reflected who we are as a couple and reflected how much we truly love each other. Katya definitely captured all of that!!

Katya got to spend several days with us at the villa before the wedding, there were times I didn't even know she was taking photos of us. She's very stealthy with her camera! Being able to spend time with Katya before the wedding was wonderful, it truly felt like I had known her for a long time and that she was always a part of our group.

We didn't have a wedding party, on the day of the wedding Katya was very helpful in making sure everything was set up just right and went smoothly for us.

Our pictures reflect the emotion of the wedding day and the days leading up to the big day. Everytime I look at our pictures I cry, the emotion and love feel like they jump out of the images.

Our expectations for our wedding photos was definitely exceeded! I would recommend Katya to anyone looking for a wedding photographer! I would definitely love to work with her again!!

There are so many amazing things I could say about Katya and Rob's team I'm not sure where to begin. The minute you meet them not only do you feel the love between this wife and husband team, but you can sense the amazing way they see the world. To have that vision directed at you and your partner on your wedding day is a true gift - and the images they give you are proof of the beautiful way they see the world - and you on that day.

As a fan of Katya's work long before I met my Husband to Be I couldn't wait for the day I found true love so that she could document it - and she exceeded every one of my high expectations. Having her there with you every step of your way on that day is like having an old friend with you, who just happens to be documenting everything through her lens. My husband is not the most photogenic but we both instantly felt at ease and comfortable posing in front of Katya and Rob and the outcome was truly magical. When looking through the finished edited pictures I felt like I was reliving the amazing day and that she captured the love and feelings in the room.

The biggest favor you can do for yourself is investing in an amazing photogorapher - and I couldn't recommend a better one.

Katya and Rob are just the best photographers to have on such an important/ potentially stressful day. They take what they do so seriously and we felt like they invested so much of themselves into our day! I honestly dont know how they do it, they pour themselves into their work and the result is totally and completely perfect, and unique to the individual.

We got married at the Jellyfish Restaurant on July 21st, 2012. We knew we had the perfect venue but were in search of the perfect photographer.. Needless to say we found her. Katya brought the most loving, positive, bright energy to our special day. She is extremely proffesional and within moments of meeting her, i felt so calm and serene. all of my guests loved her and she got some fabulous candid shots of everyone.. Some of my most cherished pictures are that of the candid ones :) She is truly an artist and master at her craft. I can say..There was not one bad picture.. Katya and Rob were amazing!!! The best part was not only that we loved them but our guests kept coming up to us after the wedding raving about how awesome they were. Communication couldn't have been any better either. Exchanged couple emails at the beginning, then skyped few times and I was worry free, well almost :)

We had some freedom with time, and Katya and Rob where flexible and accommodating that we could wait for perfect day, as couple days prior were a little bit cloudy.
During the shooting Katya and Rob made us feel relaxed and allowed us to enjoy and take-in whole atmosphere...They made us feel as if we've been best buddies for ages.

Katya and Rob were such a pleasure to work with throughout the entire wedding process.
