Kay's Jewelers

I ordered my husband's wedding band about 3 weeks before the ceremony (it took him that long to choose one!) and I was told by the sales associate (who I later found out was the store manager) that it would be 2 weeks or less until they got the band in the correct size (they gave me one 2 sizes too big to use in the meantime for photos). The band came in 3 days after the wedding, while we were gone on our honeymoon. To men and unmarried women this is not a big deal, he did have a ring to get married in. But to brides, it was a huge deal that the actual ring we used in the ceremony is not the ring he wears today. We also had to fuss all the wedding day and honeymoon to make sure the ring didn't fall off. The man who sold me the ring wasn't apologetic that he had missed my deadline, although he did refund me a portion of the purchase price. I won't ever shop at Kay Jewelers again.
