Kelley Kakes

Kelley Kakes was the perfect choice for my wedding. We had a tasting of four huge mini cakes and she was so friendly and had such creative amazing cakes. Her cake tasted perfectly moist with great flavors and the icing was superb. It was a little difficult at times to get a hold of her, but overall it wasn't a big issue. On the wedding day she came and set up the whole cake there layer by layer and put our flowers and cake topper on! I couldn't believe how beautiful the cake was!

We couldn't be happier to have had Kelley make our amazing, DELICIOUS wedding cake this past June. We met with several bakeries who came with amazing reviews, but who didn't deliver the quality and deliciousness that Kelley did. After meeting with her, my husband and I signed the contract that night, and we were amazed at how well she saw our vision and at how wonderful she was to work with. Our cake was absolutely exquisite and so different, and not to mention tasted amazing. We have nothing but wonderful things to say about our experience with her and would recommend her to anyone.

Kelley is great! So creative and such a pleasure to work with. The only "negative"? Well, there were supposed to be real flowers on the cake which never happened - not sure if she forgot, never ordered them from the florist, or what. Bottom line was that the cake was stunning even without them AND the cake was DELICIOUS!

Kelley is amazing! Her cakes are the most delicious cakes we've ever had! (and my mom is a pastry chef!) Her prices are more than reasonable. She is so creative and talented. She created two cakes for us & developed a grooms cake that was the talk of the wedding. We can't wait to eat our anniversary cake, and to use her for many upcoming occasions!

Kelley is a true artist. She can design anything you could possibly want and her cakes are delicious on top of that!

Kelley Kakes was great. They agreed to do my cake super last minute, had great flavors with a ton to choose from, and she makes personalized cake toppers out of clay that you can keep! The only thing that was a bummer was that one of the colors on my cake was wrong. But its just cake, and other than that it was great working with them!

The cake was beautiful, and the smaller gluten free/vegan cake was delicious. One of the best I've ever had.

Wow. Kelley is absolutely the best cake designer in the state of Colorado. In my job, I happen to taste a lot of good cake... Kelley blows everyone out of the water. At our tasting, we couldn't believe how good every cake tasted. They were all amazing. We actually left it up to Kelley to choose the different flavors because we so trusted her opinion.

I chose to have a cake table with 5-6 different cakes on unique cake stands (and a candy bar mixed in, as well). We discussed the look I wanted and I felt confident she knew my vision. So I sent Kelley all my cake stands for her to pick the ones she wanted to use along with my inspiration board with colors, etc and left the designs up to her. To say they turned out fantastic is doing her a disservice - the cakes were so much better than I could have expected. Everybody loved the designs, and most importantly, loved the way they tasted. So glad we used Kelley. The experience was wonderful!

Our Cakes we Amazing! I loved my wedding cake and it was so yummy! My Husband loved his huskers cake which was made out of brownies! I can wait to get a cake made for my husbands birthday! she is an amazing person to work with!

Kelley was a great person to work with, extremely helpful and flexible. Best of all her pricing is unbeatable!! I visited multiple bakeries. I wanted a topsy turvy cake which I later learned is one of the most expensive cakes to order, almost double what a "regular" wedding cake was going for. When I met with Kelley not only did she work with me to make a custom wedding cake, exactly what I wanted but it was less expensive than the "regular" cakes I had seen other places. Kelley not only worked with me to create a custom cake, but was very helpful and creative to add more than I had even thought of. I would recommend checking with Kelley before commiting anywhere else.

From the beginning, I knew Kelley was the perfect person to do our wedding cake. All we did was give her a picture of what we wanted the cake to look like and she recreated it beautifully. Her cake flavors were absolutely mouth watering (the Strawberry Champagne is worth the extra cost, it's just amazing!). It was one of the most memorable parts of our reception, and we received many compliments on how delicious the cake was. Kelley was extremely professional, while still being personable, fun and easy going. Our cake arrived on time, and without a single problem. I HIGHLY recommend her, and I have. One of my friends is getting married in the fall, and after meeting with a less-than-spectacular baker, she met with Kelley and booked her on the spot. Also, you have to check out her blog, under Kelley's Kitchen, it lets you see how wonderful and unique a person and professional Kelley is, and it has lots of character. Book her now! It will be the least stressful part of your wedding planning, I promise :)

For me the most important part of "The Cake" was not the cake. The most important part was the peace of mind I received knowing that it was going to be perfect. Knowing that it would beat even my high expectations (which it did) made me wish I could pay her double what she asked just as a way of saying thank you.

Kelley is joy incarnate. She fills the entire process with laughter and hope and makes selecting a wedding cake for my wedding everything I always dreamed it would be.

Kelley was very kind and professional. She was flexible - and helped us with a groom's cake which was a bit out of the ordinary. Unfortunately we were extremely dissapointed with the way the cakes looked on the wedding day. What a shame!

Kelley was absolutely wonderful!!! My cake was everything I imagined and better! She worked around my schedule, coming to my house to show me pictures of her past cakes and even responded to each of my million emails (thank you for that, you kept me sane ^_^) during the whole wedding planning process. She was even able to take it in stride that my new father in law was allergic to chocolate and help us choose a new flavor. I don't know what I would of done without her!! Thank you!!

Kelley did our wedding cake, and has since done several other cakes for us. We love her! Her cakes are amazing, they taste great, the look great, it's a win, win. My mother in law still cannot stop talking about our wedding cake and how good it was.

Kelley first did my son's wedding cake last May; last minute we decided to surprise him with a grooms cake as well - Kelley was instrumental in the idea process and in the end, both cakes were fantastic in both taste and look! Kelley also did a cake for my parent's 50th anniversary in December. We did not have many requirements - elegant with touches of gold. My sister and I stood looking at the cake and when I couldn't contain myself any more, I said this makes me cry, and my sister said "me too!" and we were both a mess for a few minutes - absolutely gorgeous!

Great cake! It was finished to the end and looked beautiful. I don't know what I would have done without them.

We love Kelly...our centerpieces were cakes and i love how they came out.Our guest loves how they look but most important how the cakes tastes. The cakes were moist and delicous. We highly recommend her to all friends and family.

Our cakes were gorgeous! We met with Kelley in January for our October wedding and didn't talk much after booking. I emailed her our cake flavors a few weeks before. I had planned on making a cake stand the week of the wedding but I was too sick so my Husband called her on Thursday before the wedding to let her know I couldn't do it. She called the caterer and between them they worked it all out and I didn't have to be involved. I left flowers for her to decorate the cake with and she did and amazing job. It was so pretty. Everything we had asked for and it tasted great (according to the guests). We had asked for enough cake to feed 100 people and I think we could have fed 200. The entire Groom's cake and top layer of the wedding cake are in our freezer.

Kelley was absolutely amazing to work with! Her creativity is unlimited and we had a blast putting together our wedding cake and groom's cake. The cakes were beautiful, even better than the inspiration pictures we sent. On top of being beautiful, both tasted AMAZING. Our guests loved them and still comment on how good the cake was.

If I could buy her butter cream and eat it for breakfast, I would, with my fingers, it was so yummy! Definitely go with Kelley Kakes, you won't be disappointed!

Our cake was DELICIOUS! Kelley makes a tasty cake and they're pretty too.
I would highly recommend her. The only thing that's a drawback is that she is REALLY hard to get a hold of. She's so nice and a real artist, but I had a tough time reaching her and in the end, I loved the taste and design of my cake, but the colors weren't quite right. She suggested some colors and I had replied asking for some adjustments which didn't end up happening. In the end, no one knew but me and everyone RAVED about the cake - both taste and looks! She's also really quite a value for the price. Just know that it sometimes takes a while for her to get back to you - so start finalizing things EARLY and you'll be thrilled!

Kelley did an amazing job with our cake. We had a wild, quirky idea that I had drawn up and she did an awesome job creating exactly what we were looking for. The cake tasted great, even a year later, and all of our guest were thrilled with it (and the grooms cake)! The cake was quite a hit with the guest and we still get complements on it. Kelley was a joy to work with and very flexible. She is a talented amazing cake artist and I highly recommend her.

Kelley's work is both beautiful and extremely tasty. By far the best wedding cake I've ever had (I only wish I'd had more time to try all our flavors!). Very relaxed and easy to work with.

Kelley made cupcakes for my wedding and they were AMAZING! She was so creative and a pleasure to work with. And the cupcakes were delicious. Her cupcakes are reasonably priced, have intricate designs and are all filled with some sort of yummy cream. Highly recommended.

Kelley Kakes was great. Kelley got together with my wife and everything was so easy and she has it down to a science. Just giver her the size cake, colors, flavors, and it's a done deal. She handles eveything so easily. Our cake was beautiful and people commented on it too. She is very creative and flexible. She will handle whatever size cake or cakes you need. Kelly is quite the creator! She made my husband and I a beautifully elegant wedding cake and the neatest groom's cake two years ago. Kelly was able to take a few vague ideas from my husband, and designed his crazy monkey-themed cake which completely represented his funny personality and wishes. Kelly is extremely creative and offers many delicious flavors, almond-sour cream being my ultimate favorite!

Can't say enough about Kelly and Iced Dreams...not only did we have a beautiful cake, we had a delicious cake -- rare for wedding cake! People were talking about it....are still talking about how good, moist and tasty it was. Easy to work with.

I ordered my wedding cake from Kelley when she was "Iced Dreams" and I loved it! I had guests tell me they went back to try all three flavors of our cake and how great it was! She was so great to work with, she came to my place with samples and not just once, but twice. Everything she made was wonderful and she has so many pictures of things she's done that it helped tremendously in figuring out just what I wanted. She was very affordable and had many options to keep within any budget.

Kelley was the best! She created a stunning and delicious wedding cake that was exactly what I envisioned... only better than I dreamed, actually. She was delightful to work with, open to our off-beat ideas and excited about creating something fun and tasty. My husband still raves about his Irish Car Bomb Guinness groom's cake shaped like a pint of Guinness, and we just ate the cake-topper at our one year anniversary, and it was still better than many fresh wedding cakes I've tasted... despite a cross-country trip and two moves in and out of the freezer! Her prices were completely reasonable, and she is a total sweetie!

We sort of decided to have a cake about 3 weeks before the wedding, and I was really impressed that Kelley was able to accommodate us that late in the game. Although we didn’t have time to sample the cake ahead of time, the flavors were all really good (the chocolate explosion with mocha filling went REALLY fast), and the cake looked just how I had envisioned. The prices were reasonable for the personal attention that Kelley gives you and the attention given to the cake detail.

The cake was the best that I have ever tasted and the shape was exactly what I wanted. The only reason that I gave them a less than exceptional review is that the guest count that I gave them was a maximum and when I tried to lower the count I was told that I could not go lower, only higher.

This was my favorite vendor. Kelley clearly loves what she does, and was just as excited about my cake as I was. Both cakes were delicious and beautiful. She's very talented, and is a pleasure to work with.

Kelley is a wonderful lady who really has a great talent for designing and baking wedding cakes. She did exactly what I asked and my cake (and grooms cake) turned out perfectly. Her cakes are by far the best tasting and most reasonably priced in the Denver area, and she even drove them 90 minutes away to set them up for the wedding.

She also did a beautiful anniversary cake for us on our 1st anniversary and it was fantastic. I would highly recommend her!

Kelley was amazing to work with. She came to our house to do tastings, set up the cake at the location and the cake looked beautiful and tasted GREAT! She also did cream cheese mints for us, which were very tasty and affordable.

Kelley did such an amazing job with our wedding cake that it became the centerpiece of our wedding - that one thing that everyone commented on and remembers even two years later.
