i had kevin photograph our wedding. and i can honestly say that was probably the best investment i ever made for our wedding. people tend to take the photographer for granted when it comes to weddings. they concentrate on other things. but who really remembers what a wedding cake tasted like or what flowers were at the wedding. now the wedding pictures, those you tend to remember for a lifetime. i mean 10 years later you can always look at the wedding album and reminesce about the good times. but can you do that with the wedding band?
i cannot say enough good things about kevin. once your in his studio, and he starts to do his magic. you can tell the guy was born for his job. he is a true artist... i mean when he has you do this poses you might feel awkward at first, but i can guarantee you won't be disappointed with the outcome. he is such a perfectionist that he is never really satisfied with his work. he goes above and beyond the call of duty to make his clients happy. and thats exactly the type of person you want to take your wedding pictures. he was extremely flexible with me because of my busy schedule. i mean the poor guy basically gave up his day off for us. once the pictures were ready for viewing, he sat down with us and viewed each one individually. he helped us select which ones looked the best and he gave us his honest opinion. he wants the pictures to turn out as perfect as we do. all of his hardwork pays off in the end. what you are left with is a perfect wedding picture that you will remember for ever. go to kevin le studios for your wedding photos..i promise you will love the pictures as much as we love ours. thank you very much kevin...you're the best!!!

This is an honest review of my experience working with Kevin Le Studio.

When first meeting wtih Kevin he is a very nice, personable man. He was very responsive with calls and emails and in our meeting together we went over his pricing of his packages and reviewed his work. We were pleased with the work he had shown us and the pricing was incredibly reasonable. Once the contract was signed and our deposit paid we began experiencing issues.

When trying to contact Kevin with any changes, revisions of the contract, or scheduling an engagement session he was not responsive at all. After numerous phone calls, emails, and voice mails I had to threaten to show up at his studio un announced to demand a meeting. After several weeks of non-responsiveness we were finally able to schedule out an engagement session.

When scheduling an engagement session with Kevin he wanted to shoot our e-session exclusively at the beach (meaning he was unwilling to do an e-session anywhere else), my fiance and I are not beachy people. After some discussion he was willing to do our e-session in a more urban setting. The e-session went fine but once we received the proofs we were very disappointed. Many of the shots were either in shadow, framed badly, and hardly any closeups of us at all. It seemed as though he was more interested in taking pictures of the backgrounds and buildings then he was of us. He himself admitted that this was not his best work and eluded that because we had chosen the e-session location was partly the reason why the photos came out badly. I work with many graphic designers and photographers and many of them can take an amazing picture of a brown paper bag yet with the LA skyline Kevin was unable to produce a picture that we were pleased with.

Needless to say we chose to not use his services for our wedding day photos and I would not recommend him.

My husband and I got married on 1/30/2010. Kevin Le was our photographer, and we are soooo glad we chose him.
He's very nice and very professional. I remember the first time I met him and checked out his work, I was impressed and very pleased with his customer service skill. I am very very picky. I had gone to a few other photographers in orange county and none of them could even compare to Kevin. I wanted someone who takes great pictures, and also must understands our traditions. My family members all loved him and his work.
We had 2 photo shoots before the wedding. One was at the beach and one was in his studio. I usually get all nervous when there's a camera, but Kevin always made me feel relaxed and happy. He knows the right things to say to make me and my husband feel comfortable and very happy. Our pictures turned out excellent. He also did our big photo with frame. He worked hard and always paid attention to tiny little details to make our pictures perfect. He's even more picky than I am =)
The thing my husband and I loved most about Kevin is that he does A LOT more than a photographer usually does. He almost became our wedding planner. A few days before the wedding day, he met up with us to go over the details of that day. We planned everything together, from what to wear during the make-up shoot in the morning to each step in the tea ceremony, and everything that was supposed to happen at the reception. My wedding day went so smoothly because of Kevin. My parents and relatives all love him and gave him a lot of compliments.
Another thing I have to mention is that Kevin speaks both vietnamese and english so fluently. To us, that is very important because we had a lot of relatives that understand english only.
One week after our wedding day, all my wedding photos were posted on his website (pw protected) for our family and guests to view. Oh I forgot to mention, EVERYONE loves our thank-you card. I've seen a lot of customized thank you cards from other weddings. I have to say mine is the best looking one...hehehe... =)
After my husband and I came back from our honeymoon, I met up with him to talk over the details of the photos and video (his video guy is great by the way). One week after that, he finished the layout of our album and we both are very pleased with the designs.
We cannot wait to see the final product. We're sure it's going to be great.
