Kimberly G. Brown was introduced to the makeup industry in the turn of the century. She was once told “If you love what you do, consider yourself a success.” That stuck with her forever, so much that she lives by the quote in everything she does. After working in six different companies in retail management. She wanted to feel that fire burning inside again. One day in the cold winter months she was getting ready for work. As she looked in the mirror, she thought what is my purpose, what is my passion?

Kim began putting on her lip-gloss…. She stopped mid lip and said that’s it! “ I am passionate about something I have done everyday since the age of 13…putting on makeup.” Desiring more, she attended Inner Beauty Academy where she received her professional certification in the art of makeup. There she trained under one of Virginia’s foremost artists, who is know for her work within MAC, Lancôme, Estee Lauder, People Magazine, and fashion shows from west to east coast. Working hand in hand with her she learned cutting edge techniques. While focusing on airbrush technology, body art, glamour, fantasy, period makeup, black and white verses color photography, and bridal makeup.

Directly after her certification Kimberly went to work as a freelance artist with M.A.C for 2 years, there she was educated in several areas and really mastered her craft of being an artist during big events and high traffic times, allowing her to be labeled a M.A.C Pro Artist with this brand.

In 2008 she has had the opportunity to work with Studio Art Photography in Oklahoma City. Through this relationship Kim has grown her talent in working with studio lighting. In addition to that she was chosen also to apply the makeup for Victory Church in OKC. Recently the church taped some guest speakers for a video series on Victorious Women and she was able to help with that production through her artistry and skills. These videos will be distributed across the world and played on the churches web site at www.vc.tv

Also Kimberly has become employed with Bare Escentuals since October 2008. She was hired on as an Assistant Boutique Manager and now has been given the opportunity to be a Lead Trainer and is developing her craft even further by performing make-unders on clients on a daily basis. In this environment she has taken on time limits and a broad spectrum of skin types and problems. In 2009 and 2010 Kim had the opportunity under the umbrella of Bare Escentuals to volunteer at the M.A.D.D annual fashion show with 3 girls photography in Edmond Oklahoma. In 2010 Kim has also worked with Beautiful Dream Society as Project Manager and Lead Makeup Artist on location at the photo shoot to promote thier charity fashion show "Traffick Jam" which was raising money to stop human trafficking in Lesotho,Africa. This year has been a great adventure so far, and she looks forward to what else God will bring her in the near future! Kimberly was born in Oklahoma City and currently resides in Moore Oklahoma with her loving husband of 9 years.
