Kim Chi Flowers

I'm not married, but i have been to several weddings that had her as florist and i have also ordered there several times for special occasions. I really love her work, and the people who received flowers also love her work too. She is a great person and an amazing artist. This is not really fair for her because i know most brides would not go here to post commons after their weddings. I am sure there are more brides out there who would agree with me that Kim Chi Flowers is one of the best choice as wedding vendor. If you want to know the truth, come to see her work and find it out yourself.

My husband and I love our wedding flower arrangements from Kim Chi. After seeing many flower vendors in the area, I would have to say that Kim Chi has one of the most talented florists. The centerpieces were amazing, and the arch and backdrop they created for my ceremony was jaw dropping. Many of my guests complimented on how gorgeous the flowers were. We had our wedding on a boat in Newport Beach, where there were other weddings on the same night. Although our yacht was a modest size, it stood out with elegance and beauty because of the floral arrangements (that could be seen through the glass boat).

As far as customer service goes, we have received nothing but friendly and timely service. They are frank and open about the prices, and offer meaningful advice on the types of flowers necessary to create the atmosphere you want.

When my husband and I were planning our wedding, I knew the flowers was one of the most important things that can make a wedding beautiful. Like all couples, we were cautious in making our decisions on vendors after hearing all the horror stories from other couples of the things that can go wrong during a wedding. I initially received a referral for Kim Chi Flowers from another vendor and I did my research and read the reviews. One review was concerning however I wanted to meet her myself and make my own decision. Upon meeting her, I absolutely knew she would do a wonderful job! She was professional, to the point, knew exactly what she was doing and I felt like she was not trying to sell me something I did not want. My husband was also initially concerned but after meeting her, he was very supportive of my decision to use her as our florist.
All the flowers and arrangements at our wedding were absolutely stunning! It made the event look so elegant and surreal. I received so many compliments, even the coordinator said she never seen any other so beautiful! I am sure I will remember how lovely my flowers were at my wedding for years to come!
My advice to future couples planning their wedding is do not take other peoples advice or reviews to heart, you must decide on your own which vendors to choose. And trust me, Kim Chi Flowers does a wonderful job! You should all check out her work!

At first, i m really hesitate when read the first review, but after attending some wedding that she did. My fiance and i went through with Kimchi, and i'm glad that i did not make a mistake. Her design is so unique. The flowers were delivered on time, and so fresh and beautiful. i trust her advices and would recommend her to my cousin and everyone.

On behalf of my wife & I, we wanted to extend a personal THANK YOU to Kim Chi and her staff for the hard work as well dedication she and her team put into creating a dream wedding for us and both our families! She basically put our vision; the flowers, the linens, the draperies, the details into reality and created a WOW factor the both of us as well as for all of our guests. We wanted the look of a stylish wedding with expensive flowers and floral decor of a high end florist, in which Kim Chi delivered but probably for half the price of what we would be charged for those high end florist.

We could not have done it without you as you are indeed a dream maker! We were blown away with the overall decor and look of our wedding as all of our guests; family, friends, and relatives were complimenting how beautiful our wedding was, and that it was so dreamy! We could not have been happier. For each is their own, but for me and my wife, we had an excellent experience with Kim Chi Flowers; therefore, highly recommend her to anyone that is in need of a florist for their wedding.

KC had done a great job for my wedding. Our wedding flowers exceeded myexpectations. i 'm so happy that KC's design had put her passion into our beautiful bouquet,and centerpieces. They get the job done in our budget and timing. Our bridesmaids and guests loved the colors and thought the color were unique. This is one place that all the bride should stop by if you are planing for your wedding such as from flowers, chair covers, lighting ....

My Review:
I was the wedding coordinator for my friend and when I called the florist at 12:30pm asking why the flowers hadn't arrived yet because the delivery time was for 11am, they said "Who is this? Oh! The van got into an accident and needed to be fixed and we had to find another van. Blah Blah Blah. But don't worry it's on it's way right now"

I called again at 1pm inquiring about the exact location of the driver and Kim said "They're on their way!" and HUNG UP one me. So rude and extrememly BAD customer service.

Then finally one hour later the flowers arrived when the ceremony was supposed to start at 1pm. I could have started the ceremony without the flowers but how can I have my bride walk down the isle without her bouquet!

Then the drivers fessed up and said that they forgot the order. I felt bad for grilling them because they just deilivered the flowers. It was actually their bosses fault that the order was forgotten.

So the reason everything was so poorly done was because they had 1 hour to complete the order AND deliver it.

NEVER AGAIN. BEWARE!



Bride's Review:
Please do not use this vendor if you want your flowers to show up on time.

I met up with this florist 4 times. First and second visit was friendly. Third time, they were borderline yelling at me. Initially we were under the impressions that they would deliver the altar pieces from the church to the reception for free. Then they raised their voice to me saying that there was no way for them to deliver the pieces with no charge. I agreed to pay the $50 for delivery so it's one less thing for us to worry about the day of. We figured we already paid the deposit so there wasn't any turning back. On the FOURTH visit to finalize the order, I should have taken it as a sign that they couldn't find our order when we first met. She looked for it for 5 minutes before she could sit down with us...

The day of, they were scheduled to show at 11, when the church opened. They did not show until 1:30. The wedding ceremony was supposed to begin at 1 p.m.

Story #1 - flat tire. Story #2 - accident. They lied to our wedding coordinator and hung up on her when she called for our flowers. They lied to my mom when she asked where the flowers are. When the delivery person came, I had a chance to speak with her. I flat out asked her if she's lying because she was trembling and not looking into my eyes. She requested for me to not ask her these questions because she's Christian. Big deal. I'm Christian too, now tell me the truth. They LOST our order.

The bouquet I received was not the one I requested. One bridesmaid's bouquet was incomplete. The forgot BOTH of the mother's bouquet. They did deliver the correct bouquets. However, they were delivered AFTER then were needed.

Please tell your friends and family to not make the mistake of booking with this florist. If I could, I would rate it zero stars.



Bridesmaid's Review:
I was a bridesmaid for my friend who ordered flowers from this florist for her wedding. First of all, they were rude to her from the get go and got upset when she didn't want centerpieces. Ok no biggie, they're a business so they're trying to make money... the biggie is...

THE DAY OF HER WEDDING they arrived 2 hours late! The service was already supposed to start and they still hadn't arrived. We kept calling them and they got annoyed so started hanging the phone up on our wedding coordinator!

They finally came with the bouquets and boutonnieres but the bride's bouquet wasn't even the one she ordered! They lied to us by saying they were late because their car broke down, but the bride was able to get them to tell the truth. The truth was - they simply FORGOT about the order and forgot that they had a wedding to do that day. How irresponsible. The flowers may be cheap here but I'd pay a little extra for some piece of mind.



Bridesmaid's Review:
1) Forgot the order
2) Lied about why they were 2 hours late
3) Brought many last minute made bouquets, altar pieces & arrangements (none that were the flowers requested)
4) Pulled the "But I'm a Christian" card on us
5) But they did end up bringing the correct bride's bouquet & a better made bridesmaid's bouquet in time for the pictures

Bad... very bad.

My husband recently ordered flowers from Kim Chi Flowers (aka KC Floral Designs) for our 2nd anniversary, in which I was literally blown away by the floral arrangement! I loved the arrangement as it was beyond beautiful and all my coworkers (mostly girls) were teasing me and if anything - jealous! We both had Kim Chi do our wedding flowers, which is about 2 years now, but from what I can see, she still has that special touch!

I still remember my wedding as the flowers were in abundous from the time I entered the church to when we reached our reception site. We picked light pinks, peaches, ivories, lavenders, and Kim Chi surprised us these subtle touches of sage green roses. I think they were a light green rose as I'm not sure is such a rose existed. All of our guests loved the decor as that was the highlight of our wedding as compared to our quote one man band!

I think I can go on and on about Kim Chi Flowers or KC Floral Designs, but as for me and my husband, Kim Chi is still the top florist for us as my husband proves this to me by still surprising me with astonishing floral bouquets for our anniversary! Now, I just need to give him subtle hints or nudge others to sorta instill in him to surprise a hardworking wife with flowers on Valentine's Day!

Her flower arrangements and drapery is amazing. She is also reasonably priced.
