Kim is wonder at what she does. She is very detail oriented and honest about her opinions. I am a very organized person too and wanted someone who would understand my love of schedules and spreadsheets, and she totally got that about me. We worked very well together because we have the same values and functional habits, but if you're not like this; it may conflict slightly.
I found working with Kim very easy and helpful. She has been in the business so long that she knows all the scenarios that could go wrong or have gone wrong, and knows the most appropriate ways of fixing it. She really takes the time to listen to what you want and execute it.
She was there from beginning to end. At our first meeting, the interview, we really loved that she knew what our vision was just from us describing a few basic things. During the wedding day, she was the captain and running the ship smoothly; we were even ahead of schedule by 2 hours at one point.
I love Kim and would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a wedding planner and feels they need one.
Kim was the best money spent when it came to our wedding (other than my dress!). I cannot put into words how AMAZING she was. From the entire planning process, up to our beautiful wedding day! She answered EVERY call, text or email. No matter what time of the day it was, 7 days a week! She is a GREAT communicator and made me feel so special like I was the only bride in the world. She always knew exactly what to say to me when I felt stressed about little things or anything at all. She took in all my ideas and customized our wedding to a perfect T!
We customized our vendors using half of hers and mine. I used her DJ, Mike Carcano-who was so much fun and knew exactly what he was doing. Larissa at Inviting Occasion for floral- who created the most BEAUTIFUL arch, isle runners , centerpieces and sweetheart table for us. I mean WOW, a great vendor and artist. Mollie Jane photography who my sister knew from her childhood- she did the main photos and her husband did the candid shots, it was perfect. Kim negotiated every vendor for us to fit our budget and created a great team of vendors!! We basically just sat back and watched her work her magic!
On our rehearsal day, she was so on point and kept to a timely schedule but made it fun too. Everyone loved her. She knows how to get along with every personality and thats probably what makes her so good at what she does in keeping everyones attention.
Our wedding day couldn't have been more PERFECT!! The amazing arch that out florist made was incredible, but super heavy. We really wanted to move it over to our sweetheart table after the ceremony but knew it was going to be hard considering the breakdown and moving everything in time. Not only did Kim rally everyone to move it, she moved a lot of it herself! Whatever it took to make us happy, she did it! Throughout the reception she was on top of everything. And probably a lot more that we don't know about behind the scenes.

Kimberely! Two words to describe her: Life Saver. Upon entering the ballroom at the Langham Pasadena where the wedding reception took place, I was stunned at how beautiful it looked. I was a bridesmaid, and the bride and everyone else was blown away at how magnificant it looked. Kim seems to have good connections with wedding vendors, specifically her florist. I speak for most of the bridesmaids when I say that we were very very tired that day. There is so much to do and so much going on in a wedding, but Kim and her 2 assistants helped to make it remarkably easy. I was expecting chaos, and stress, but it turned out to be a very fun day and Kim made sure all events of the wedding happened in a timely manner. She seems to be very concerened that everyone is happy and at ease, making it so that you can actually enjoy your own party. I would definitely reccommend her to more of my friends.
Cannot find the words to do Kimberly Bradford justice. As her motto said, Innovative Concept, Flawless Execution, Exceeding Expectations...EVERY TIME! Truly and honestly!! Kim will not fail you. She is wonderful, knowledgeable, creative, and truly a remarkable person who loves what she does and knows what she is doing. She will go to bat for you, to get you, a great deal for your money. She is so flexible and so kind, and trustworthy. I put my faith in her.. I envisioned and hoped for a beautiful wedding. I had no clue, she helped me create a JAW-DROPPING, SPECTACULAR, BEAUTIFUL, AMAZING, and FUN wedding. More than I could have ever imagined on my own. It was truly my dream wedding! She introduced us to great vendors. Just like her, were truly exceptional professionals, but were so down to earth. It made the planning process so much easier and less intimidating. I wish I could do it all over again, just so I can work with Kim. Best of all, I met a wonderful person and met a good friend. I HIGHLY recommend Kim to anyone:)
I do not have enough wonderful things to say about Kim. She made my August 28, 2011 wedding absolutely perfect. The day could not have run more smoothly. She made the planning process very simple. We used vendors that she introduced us to, and they were FANTASTIC. Highly recommend Joe Latter and Mike Carcano. Would recommend Kim to anyone planning a wedding. We got tons of compliments from our guests on how perfectly planned the day was and how smoothy everything ran.
I interviewed five (5) wedding coordinators to help me in planning the wedding of my daughter. Among the five and not knowing anyone of them I blindly made a choice to have Ms. Bradford as my daughter's wedding coordinator. I was very nervous because our guests are from all over the world. After April 30, 2011, the wedding date, of my daughter I told every single guests we had that I had the best wedding corrdinator. I was totally and completely satisfied with the services Ms. Bradford provided to me and to my daughter to make this event flawless and successful. Everything was delivered on time from the church to the hotel, flowers, foods, choir, band, DJ, lighting, everything needed in the wedding. Well planned and very organized. The only comment I heard from everybody was "This is the most organized and elegant wedding they have attended during the last few years. The compliment goes to Ms. Bradford because she was the one who recommended to us all the vendors for the wedding, she was the one who planned, and organized everything, she made all the necessary follow ups to all involved and she even worked very hard that I get the best price from all the vendors. I would like to recommend to all future brides that they need experienced, creative, innovative and hard working wedding coordinator to have a very elegant and successful wedding. Based on my recent wedding experience I am very confident to recommend Ms. Bradford. She is excellent on what she does.
This is a long review, but I have so much respect and so much love to give to our wedding planner Kim Bradford. Originally from California, I wanted to have my wedding in LA but live in London so did all my planning and preparation from abroad. The first and one of the most important things I did was hire a wedding planner that was local to the area and could assist me and my mom with everything. I researched over 25 planners in Southern California until I decided on Kim Bradford and it was the best decision I ever made.
She went above and beyond throughout the entire planning process - constantly in communication over emails on a daily basis since I was in London and when I was in LA she would set up all of my vendor appointments and attend every single meeting with me to ensure I got the best deals and the best of everything for my wedding. Most importantly, she made sure I got exactly what I wanted for my wedding.
Kim has the best list of vendors and even though I was unable to work with some of them due to my budget, she was incredibly professional and open to working with any vendors I decided to hire myself. Being a control freak, I did my own research for every vendor she recommended and beyond just to cover all bases and she absolutely has the best vendors in town and they all love working with Kim and not because of the money, but because of her professionalism and honesty. Everyone that works with Kim or has ever worked with her knows how incredibly organized and professional she is - she knew the names of my entire bridal party and family members on both sides after just the first 20 minutes of our first meeting and all of the little details I had told her about each person she could recite again off her memory.
She COMPLETELY negotiates deals for you and was able to negotiate a good percentage off of some of our vendor's quotes and was also able to ensure we got all the little things we wanted at our hotel. On the day, I cannot praise Kim and her team enough - they are absolutely brilliant and the entire day ran so smoothly I didn't have to think about anything and enjoyed every single second of my wedding the way every bride should and that was because of Kim's organization, punctuality, professionalism and extensive experience. She went above and beyond to ensure everything was completely perfect for us - dealing with every vendor and going out of her way to ensure all of the guests were having a great time.
Lastly, she is an incredibly kind and sincere person - very honest and true to her word and absolutely loves her work and her clients and takes pride in each and every one. Through working with her over the course of a year, both me and my mother now count her as a dear friend and it was incredible to have a wedding planner that was indeed a friend by my side on the most important day of my life.
If you want a perfect wedding day and for it to be of the best quality and luxury within your budget, then hire Kim Bradford. She is incredible and her work is outstanding - it will be the best decision you make! I cannot recommend Kim enough, she is a true star!

We just used Kim as our wedding planner and she ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! We did the full package and paid the full amount! What a waste of money and time!!! When we interviewed her she seemed extremely nice and friendly and on top of it, but turned out to be extremely rude, hard to reach and complained every moment we tried to get a better deal. Its funny because during her interview she mentioned a few bad reviews but neither my fiancee or I had seen them and now we do and wish we had. She was extremely rude and hard to deal with and made the wedding planning process even more difficult. I sincerely wish we had not hired her. There was another woman named Maria who seemed that she may have her act together- I wish we would have gone with her.
Although Kim does have great vendors- they are majorly overpriced and she clearly gets kick backs. Also, I am sure you can get better deals yourself- Square Root was our floral designer, Elysium was our videographer, the Barenetts were our photographers etc.
Anyway, On our actual wedding day she offended all of our guests and threatened to storm out- over a few noisy people she was trying to get in line. My husband and I had to chase her out and calm her down and she went outside to chainsmoke. It was a huge embarassment. If you cant handle quieting a few groomsmen down, then why are you in this business? Regardless, I dont have the time or effort to go into the things Kim did that were offensive and distasteful but needless to say throughout the planning experience and by the end of our wedding night- she made the whole processs more difficult and offended mo
I wish I had written this review earlier because I realize I might have saved other brides from the horrible experience I had. The reason I waited this long was because I feel bad for Kim, and I know this review could hurt her business. But the wedding day is just too important (and expensive), to let her ruin another bride's experience. An example of what we went through:
1. After she told us she does not take commission from vendors, she gave us a lot of attitude when we chose vendors other than the ones she works with. She was difficult and even rude with our vendors, who in my opinion saved the wedding (ironically she has used most of them in subsequent weddings). I've since been told she does in fact get kickbacks. She could have just been honest and I would have understood the cause for all the tension, but nowhere in our contract did it say we had to use her vendors (obviously, I mean who would hire her then?)
2. She talked a lot, but for all the words she speaks, is the worst communicator. Most of the talk is about herself, or about other brides who loved her, whom she loved, who had limitless budgets, who let her plan the entire wedding without even a suggestion, who send her wonderful cards and gifts, blah blah blah. She has a gift at making you feel unimportant and anything but special. She did anything but go above and beyond, had no creativity, and seemed to take little interest in creating a unique day for us. In fact, all she seemed to want to do was recreate one of the weddings she had already done. I can copy-paste on my own, thanks. I suspect she took that approach with us because we negotiated our price down, but if she didn't think she could deliver a quality produt at that price, then she should have turned us down.
3. Kim did not follow through on very simple requests, waited for the week before the wedding to reserve very specific furniture I requested, which of course by then was not available. My poor fiance spent an obscene amount of money to get something similar because he saw how stressed I was doing all the things I thought I had hired a coordinator to do for me. In the end, she took credit for the furniture. But not before we had a blow-out, Kim-cry session in which she threatened not to do the wedding, just DAYS before the wedding. She cited some personal circumstances which made her realize the importance of life, implying that my wedding is not important, and in the grand scheme of things, I agree there are lots of things in life more important than my wedding. But if I pay you to do a job, to plan my wedding day, at least pretend it is important to you.
4. There was a big deal made of the decoration of our hotel suite which she implied she did herself during the reception. There were flowers on the bed, and maybe even candles. But the room was still a mess from our day of preparation - shouldn't she have called housekeeping to have our room cleaned when she saw it in that condition? I went to bed that night in my wedding suite with hair on the bathroom floor from someone's last minute trim, not a single clean towel to shower with, and an empty roll of toilet paper. That was really disappointing, especially coming from someone who claims she pays attention to the smallest details.
To be honest, I would have been less stressed doing the wedding without her. The day of the wedding, she fought with my sister, was rude to my vendors, and was even ruder to her assistants who were acutally quite helpful and professional. After our wedding, a friend of mine happened to meet her and she bragged about our wedding.
Our wedding was amazing despite her. I was not a bridezilla, was very open to her ideas, met all her vendors and tried to get them to fit into our budget (which was not tight). She never tried to negotiate for us, that fell on us to do. She fell short on all of her promises and most of all made the entire experience painful. I don't think she enjoys what she does anymore. She also seems unstable to me evidenced by the blow-out and the weird interaction she had with my sister at the wedding. I regret hiring Kim Bradford. In hindsight, there were so many red flags. Kim Bradford is in the wrong business, in my opinion.
Kimberly Bradford is truly the most amazing wedding planner ever. Our wedding was flawless and so perfect that you could only imagine it in your dreams. I planned my wedding long distance from the East Coast and had hired her right from the beginning of the year (about 10 months ago). Throughout the year, she was always so supportive and made herself available to all my concerns. She even helped alleviate some of the family drama that came forth (as they do in most wedding planning.) Initially, when I phone interviewed her (after my mother interviewed her in person), she was so honest and open with me, that I knew that we would become great friends. Even before I signed the contract, for hours and days, she would give me wedding tips and gave me a running start with the planning, pro-bono.
Our wedding day was impeccable. My husband and I are both perfectionists with perfectionist families, and let me tell you- rants and raves about our wedding. The energy was amazing, the room was transformed, we ran right on schedule...and honestly, I didn't notice any blips AT ALL. I have known my husband for 6 years and I truly have not seen him so elated and so amazed with how the weekend went. It was truly flawlessly executed and a platinum wedding, as one of our guests mentioned.

Kim was absolutely amazing! I had no clue how to plan a wedding or where to even start and she helped my husband and I put together the most beautiful wedding I have ever seen. Kim will be by your side through everything, she is always availible if you have any questions, she is so organized (which is HUGE when you are planning a wedding) and she regularly prints out outlines of EVERYTHING for you (which was so helpful). Not one thing went wrong on our wedding day. Every vendor was there on time... I honestly have no complaints what so ever. It was the smoothest, easiest, best day of our lives and we owe it all to Kim! We love you Kim!!!!!
Kim was our "wedding angel" because she made the entire event such a glorious affair. Her ideas made this wedding beyond special. She organized all the vendors, handled all the details, listened to everyone, and was always available no matter how busy she was. Her enthusiasm was contagious. Kim is a professional through and through and a delightful person to be around. She can make any wedding a dream come true. There's no one better!
Kim was so helpful in planning a great wedding for us - I was able to plan my CA wedding efficiently and easily from NY. Kim was easy to work with, and helped make all of our requests come true. She made our wedding day move along perfectly and helped with all the details.
Probably best, are Kim's great relationships with the superb vendors that she works with. It made the planning process so much easier knowing that she trusted each vendor's work and work ethic.

Ever been to a wedding that was plain old awesome in every way? Well, that was my wedding. It was 3 years ago but I still get compliments! No joke, people tell me it was the best wedding they have ever been to and that was 100% Kim. She seriously knows how to throw an amazing party. She thought of all these creative details that made my wedding so so special, for example matching plaid ribbons on the invitations and floral arrangements and Irish coffees at the end of the night. Oh, and the comfort food menu we concocted kept my guests full and happy!
Kim won't make decisions for you, but she will always guide to the right choice and that's exactly what I needed! Kim knows best, believe it. Like who knew that we'd need a DJ in addition to our live band to keep the party going while the band took breaks, duh, Kim! That's why when my younger sister got engaged this year the first call she made was to Kim. Truth is my sister is way more of a 'high-maintenance' bride then I was but she's loving Kim and having the time of her life planning her dream wedding. I can't wait to go to another Kim Bradford wedding!!
