Reviews for Kirk Jewelers

Kirk Jewelers is where we got our Scott Kay wedding bands. They had a nice selection and the staff were excellent about showing us all the different types of wedding bands they sold. They also showed us other rings that we liked to. They showed us all over the place and they were really nice to talk to and learn about some of the jewelry. We finally found the Scott Kay wedding bands that he and I both liked so we made the purchases and we cannot say enough about how well of a service they have at Kirk Jewelers they really take care of their customers. They haved earned customers who will go back again for more jewelry purchases.
About Kirk Jewelers
Julian Newbauer followed the footsteps of his father and uncle and entered the jewelry industry at a young age. He journeyed through the United States gaining experience and friends as a traveling representative for his family's diamond jewelry company.
After his return from WWII, where he served with great distinction as lead navigator in the 13th Air Corp, Mr. Newbauer's love of jewelry led him back to the industry. His desire to bring his customers quality merchandise and the best service available was fulfilled. In 1947, Kirk Jewelers opened its doors in Downtown Miami.
Starting with a meager stock due to the wartime diversion of industry, "Mr. Kirk", as he was affectionately known, navigated his business and turned it into a Miami icon. Kirk Jewelers became THE place to buy fine jewelry and watches including Patek Philippe, Rolex, Hamilton, Elgin, Omega, Baume & Mercier, Piaget, Longines, Wittnauer, Cartier, and many others. In 1965, Kirk Jewelers moved to its present location on Flagler Street where it continues to flourish.
In 1988, upon his passing, Mr. Kirk's son, Julian Newbauer became President of Kirk Jewelers. Having played and worked in his father's store since he was eight years old, Mr. Newbauer developed a profound knowledge of jewelry and watches. After completing college and serving in the U.S. military, Mr. Newbauer was offered an opportunity in banking, but his love of the jewelry industry brought him home to Kirk Jewelers.
Since 1982, Mr. Newbauer has been a Graduate Gemologist with GIA and a Certified Gemologist with AGS. He continues to strengthen his relationship with prestigious watch companies like Patek Philippe and Rolex and to run Kirk Jewelers with honor and integrity, in the spirit of his father. Our fifth generation of family jewelers has walked through the doors of Kirk Jewelers. Mr. Newbauer's children, Allison and Jeffrey, have joined the staff, sharing in the family's wonderful legacy.
The Kirk Jewelers family includes our wonderful staff. One of our employees, Israel, is a GIA Graduate Gemologist, grew up in the jewelry industry, and has extensive knowledge and experience. Our watchmaker, Pablo Garcia, is independent, but has maintained a bench in our store since the 1970s. He is Rolex-certified and his 45 years of expertise in watch repair are unparalleled in Florida.
The longevity and success of Kirk Jewelers is based on love of the industry and love of people. Our ethical business practices, sense of humor, courtesy, knowledge and outstanding service has won us customers all over the world and we have enjoyed serving them. We've been in business for over 60 years and we look forward to many more.
