Sharon Ivy Events (formerly KiSS Events)

I used Sharon for month-of planning services, and wow was I glad I did! I didn't think I needed a planner as my job is essentially project management. However as the date grew nearer (and both my husband and I work full time) I was getting more stressed. We decided to get a month of planner, and it was a great decision! Sharon was great to work with. She is very professional, and definitely knows her stuff! She helped us with etiquette questions, coordinating all vendors, recommendations on last minute vendors, and helped out with last minute errands the weeks of.

I was so grateful to have her and her team on my day - what a relief! She had two assistants on site the day of, helping with odds and ends. They took care of everything, and helped it all move smoothly, allowing me to enjoy my big day. If I or anyone had a question, they went to Sharon. It was so wonderful not to have to worry about a thing and know it was being taken care of. I definitely recommend Sharon for your day - she is super professional and a huge help! Also, in my opinion the package I got was a good value for the service we received. Awesome - thank you Sharon!!

Living in another state, Sharon was helpful with coordinating all of my vendors and organizing the details. Sharon was flexible with my schedule since I traveled on short notice and she was available to meet at anytime. Sharon was fantastic about asking questions I didn't think to ask, making suggestions I hadn't thought of and overall covering all aspects you could imagine (even though I had her for day-of planning.) Sharon is the sweetest gal and was always there with the kindest words (plus a hug) when you need any kind of support whether it be family drama, dress dilemmas, etc. I'm so happy to have met such a wonderful woman.

Early into my wedding planning process, I was skeptical to hire a wedding coordinator. I read several articles about how "worth it" they are but I had my doubts. After attending some family weddings, I decided to look into hiring a coordinator. I interviewed several and finally decided to go with Sharon for the month-of coordination. Hiring Sharon was one of the best decisions we made in wedding planning.

Sharon thought of so many small details that we had not. Furthermore, her organization was incredible. She was great with communication (phone and email). Just days away from my wedding, I heard several family and friends tell me that I was the most "zen" bride they had ever seen; my response was, "It's because I have Sharon."

On the big day, my family, friends, and I were able to enjoy the day and the celebration instead of focusing on implementing all of our big plans. I am convinced that Sharon is one of the best kept secrets of Kansas City weddings- a true gem.

AMAZING, AMAZING, AMAZING!!! I think every bride should have a wedding coordinator and Sharon is the BEST! She made sure everything was perfect for the day of my wedding. We are so glad we hired a month of coordinator. She made me feel much better about everything in that last month before the wedding. We had a beautiful ceremony and reception because she made everything flow smoothly. We could not of had such a wonderful wedding with out her.

This is the best service by far that I had to pay for during the wedding experience. Sharon is a lifesaver. She not only was my wedding planner but also became a friend. She cares about what you want and will do whatever she can to make your day the best day it can be. She also has great ideas about everything. I highly recommend Sharon to anyone.

Sharon was there for me every step of the way. I honestly could not have planned and enjoyed my wedding without her. She spent an extraordinary amount of time with me and was so organized that I didn't have to worry that i was going to forget something.

I was always the type of person who thought I could handle it all my self, but I was wrong. I had friends and family offering to help with various tasks on my wedding day, but there was no one to coordinate everything without giving me or the people I invited, to share in my special day, extra anxiety. My finance and I were hesitant to meet with Sharon (because again I thought I could handle it all my self) and left our meeting feeling like a burden had been lifted off of our shoulders. She offered services and advice I never even imagined. My finance and I both felt comfortable and relaxed with Sharon; she was amazing and professional.

Sharon helped me out sooo much and was very patient with me! She took charge of items when I needed additional help and made sure that I knew what was going on at all times!

Sharon and her team went above and beyond. Not only did she provide better than expected services, she attended many visits to our venue that was not expected. She and her team made it possible for me (the Mother of the Bride) to enjoy the day completely with my daughter (the Bride) and all of my family - many of whom came in from out of town. She and her team did a tremendous job!!

Sharon was the most organized, level headed, sensitive and knowledgeable wedding planner we could have dreamed of!! I would recommend her a million times over!! She knew exactly what to do with the jumble of ideas I had, to make our wedding turn out more like a personal note to our families and friends, then just a day to remember! During the planning process, she was able to handle any and all issues that came about and find the perfect photographer and caterer to match, actually exceed, our needs. She worked so hard, no detail unattended, she even followed up with me after the wedding to check on the progress of the video, pictures and was available for any questions I had. Plus, she is the sweetest thing ever!!
