KLH Makeup Artistry

Kerry and Patty Ann arrived on time, got everything setup and started makeup and hair for the six bridesmaids. The Bride and Mother of the Bride only had makeup done by Kerry. They were very professional, personable, provided terrific service, and finished in time for everyone to get to the wedding. Everyone loved their makeup and hair. It was a beautiful wedding party, thanks to Kerry and Patty Ann. We would highly recommend them.

I loved working with Kerry, she was fun to be around during the process and I loved my make-up. I did two trials, I liked the first one but it wasn't exactly what I was looking for so I just gave Kerry more information on the look I wanted and she got it perfectly for the second trial and the wedding day!

I attended a wedding and this was the makeup artist hired. I found her work to be very amateur. She did utilize airbrush makeup, which I think worked OK. However, for a bride I would expect a high level of contouring, precision, and elegance. I've worked with many makeup artists and her work was unimpressive. The bride had no contouring done, and her eyes were not blended well nor did they pop out at all.
I had her do my airbrush makeup for hold, however after watching her do the bride's makeup immediately said I would do my own. I also had to go back and touch up with concealer because it simply was not a flawless application (under eyes were not brightened, and neckline was not blended).
She was very nice; my comments are based on skill.

I was super excited with the look that KLH Make-up Artistry was able to create for me on my wedding day. Kerry was very professional and flexible...as well as reasonable in price. I went to her home for my trial run and then she came to me on the big day so I didn't have to leave our wedding location at all! She did make-up for some of the mothers and bridal party and everyone looked AMAZING! I would definitely recommend her services for your big day.

KLH was great, a major part of my wedding day being such a success. I can't count how many compliments I've received on my wedding pictures and how many times I've had to tell people "but I don't normally look that way".... LOL. In the end, the effect was stunning and magical without making me look unnatural OR feel uncomfortable. Being able to have hair and makeup done in the comfort of my own home for my wedding party was worth its weight in gold and anyone considering KLH will not be disappointed. Five stars!

I had my trial with Kerry the day of my engagement photo session--after she worked on me for a while, I didn't feel like the colors were just right, so she redid all the eye make-up. I HIGHLY reccommend the air brushing! She even does the eye make-up with it. Through lots and lots of tears that make up stayed on like paint! One of my bridesmaids (who paid MUCH more for her make up on her own wedding day) even said, "My make-up looks so much better now than it did on my wedding day!" Kerry is very professional but really puts her clients at ease. My mom got her make-up done (after much resistance) and was so pleased with how gentle and calming she was! I will definitely hire Kerry again for any sort of special event!
As a note, she is listed as being in Winchester, however she works out of a studio in Haymarket. For me, due to time constraints, she came to the hair salon to do most of the girls, and then we all went to the studio for myself and two more to get done. The studio was a perfect place to bring in some small tea sandwiches, crackers and cheese, champagne, etc for the girls.

Kerry was great and really patient with my bridal party. The work was amazing and I can't wait to see my large prints made because all of the digital proofs were great. She was also very professional and reasonably priced.

Kerry is a fantastic makeup artist! She was able to make my imperfect skin look perfect! She is also very professional and always prepared for the unexpected! I would, and do, recommend her to everyone I know!

She did a great job...and will recommend her to all my friends!

My bridesmaid and myself all got hair and make up done. We actually ran over time so by the end we were rushing to get to the venue. I had gotten my tattoo covered up which was great at frist but by the end of the night it had actually started to ware off. My make up was to be tear proof and I did shed a tear and it left a streak which my bridesmaid fixed for me. Otherwise it was all great.

Kerry is so professional, she responded to my inquirery in good time. She was so easy working around my busy wedding schedule, that making plans with her was a breeze. The product she used on my face felt and looked so natural, and it lasted the entire day. We did do air brush make-up. Loved it! And her ability to make me feel so beautiful and relzxed just added to my special day. I highly recommend Kerry for the flawless make over. And her cost is well worth it! Thank you Kerry.

Kerri's ability to transform me from a "regular" person to someone who looked truly stunning was amazing. She could possibly the most skilled and talented make-up artist you will find in the area. Working with Kerri was a fabulous experience. I highly recommend her.

Kerry did an amazing job on my makeup for my wedding! She gave me the PERFECT look and my pictures came out great. She also did my Mom's makeup without ever meeting her or doing a trial and my Mom looked gorgeous. We were both so thrilled with the outcome. I was referred to KLH by a friend who had her wedding make-up done by Kerry. Like most, I wasn�t sure what to expect, but was willing to try anything�and boy did it pay off! My �day of� makeup was even better than I remembered at the trail. Kerry had all the supplies and provided me with my own lipstick for touch-ups that night. I went to 2 salons and the convenience of having Kerry come to me was worth it! I felt rushed at both salons and questioned the products at one (which didn't look new, fresh, or clean). I was impressed that Kerry showed up on time, prepared and had new mascara, lipstick and eyelashes for me (this was just at the trial!) I would recommend Kerry (KLH) as a professional make-up artist who was prepared, on time, and knowledgeable. The complements I received on my make-up (especially my eyes) reassured me of my choice. For all those brides contemplating doing your own make-up�I highly recommend reconsidering. Schedule a trial with Kerry before you go to a salon...you'll thank me :)

I'm so glad I found Kerry and that she was able to be apart of making my wedding day so special! She did make up for both my mom and I and it was amazing. I loved that she was able to come to my house and was so flexible with all we had going on. She is very friendly, professional and knowledgable about what she does, which helped be relax on what was an otherwise stressful morning!
