KLM Artistry

Though I was not the bride, I was fortunate enough to be a bridesmaid and experience the professional services of KLM Artistry. Jessie did my hair and makeup. She gave me a look that fell in line with the bride and other bridesmaid without making me look foolish or feel uncomfortable. She asked questions about what I liked or preferred and allowed me to check her work along the way. She was even sweet enough to answer my questions about hair care--something she didn't have to do but seemd to think it was no big deal to help me out in that way. Kim worked with the bride. She accentuated the bride's beauty and took great care to ensure the bride was happy with look being created, following the vision that the bride had for herself on such a key day. Neither Kim nor Jessie came off as snotty or put out by us. They gave us kind smiles and shared with us their ideas without being pushy or snooty. Both seemed to not only completely know what they were doing but also truly enjoy the work. That is professionalism. It is not easy to find anymore but it's what every bride hopes will come her way. I am grateful to them both for their courteousness and focused work. Very much recommended!!

It was so wonderful to work with Kim from KML Artistry that I would reccomend her to every bride. I found the hairstyle and makeup I wanted and sent Kim a picture and she was able to make my hair & makeup look exactly how I wanted it. Kim was so helpful during our pictures, touching up my hair and makeup, making sure my dress was perfect in all of the pictures.

Not only was she there for my hair and make-up, but she was also my son's favorite person. My two year old fell in love with Kim, wanting to be with her while we were taking pictures which meant a lot to me as he doesn't open up to just anyone.

Kim and Jessie did an incredible job! They were there about 15 minutes before we arrived so that they could get set up and not take any time out of us getting ready. They had a schedule for each girl and did a really good job sticking to it!

I was originally going to have Kim do my hair, but my regular hairstylist ended up being available, so I just had her do my makeup. Kim was very understanding and had no problems with this.

All my bridesmaids and my mom and my husband's mom had their hair and makeup done - they all looked fantastic! My mom said the curl stayed in her hair for two days after (until she finally washed it)!

Kim also stayed after we were done getting ready so that she could do touch ups for pictures (before AND after the ceremony). That was great, but she also helped with various other things - boutinneirs, holding my flowers and shoes, running to get family members, etc. She was a huge help.

Kim was amazing. She was one of the best parts of my wedding day. Myself and all 3 of my bridesmaids loved the hair and makeup. She made everyone look amazing. On top of that her prices are very affordable compared to other vendors offering the same service. Kim was AMAZING! She was so easy to work with and really listens to what everyone wants! I had a large wedding party and she was able to accommodate all of us. She does such a great job applying make-up to all skin types. She is all about detail and wanting to make everyone look perfect. I chose the Elite package which has her come apply make-up to everyone before pictures and she stays with us all day up until reception to do any needed touch-ups. She also helps with photography and makes sure everyone is posed right and really has a passion for what she does. I would 100% recommend Kim for any type of occasion. She did the makeup for me, 3 bridesmaids, and the two moms and we all loved the way we looked. My mom, myself and two bridesmaids did a consultation with her in advance which was not only fun but helpful because it saved time on the big day and we got to play with some different looks! She also covered the tattoos on my back (including black outlines and blue and red ink which are notoriously difficult to cover!) and you couldn’t even tell they were there. The airbrush makeup stays on really well; I don’t have any complaints about it. My complexion looked flawless and it stayed on all night. I was happy with the way I looked; Kim really takes the time to listen to what you want. My mom and bridesmaids wanted very dramatic makeup with their dark red/black dresses and I wanted something a little more natural. She won’t just put on you what she wants to, she really truly wants you to love it! On my wedding day, I had asked Kim stick around to help with photos and touch-ups after the ceremony and it was worth every penny. She followed us around with the photographer and made sure my dress and hair and everyone’s clothing was laying perfect for every single shot!!! She even fixed my husband’s boutonniere when it broke and I’m sure handled other crises like this when I wasn’t looking. Her pricing is comparable to everyone else out there but I can guarantee you won’t get the kind of service and dedication that Kim provides. If you want to complete your ensemble with professional makeup, call Kim! You will be SO glad that you did!!!

I can't recommend KLM Artistry enough!!! Kim was more than just a makeup artist to me on my wedding day, she truly was a wonderful emotional support.
Important stuff: she did a fantastic trial with me and my mom and we had a great time. We looked great and went out and had a fun dinner after to try out our hair and makeup :)
Come wedding day, she was the first person there once I arrived. I can't tell you how much I appreciated her being there right from the beginning. She came more than prepared for everyone. She brought an assistant- who did a phenomenal job. My maid of honor has incredibly long, thick blond hair that's straight as an arrow and will never hold a curl. Kim's assistant put oodles (yes oodles!) of GORGEOUS ringlets in my MOH's hair, and those ringlets held all night long!
Important note: Depending on the package you buy, Kim will stay through the wedding and after to retouch your hair and makeup before the reception. She will even do a hairstyle change if you make sure to allot enough time! I highly recommend this!
She also was right there with all the pictures, helping the photographer get the best pictures possible and popping in to push a stray hair off my lip gloss, etc. she does some photography on her own as well and so has a very good idea of what the photographer needs to help get the best shots. what other makeup artist does that?
I loooved Kim and the way she made me look. I was so happy with the way she made everyone else in the bridal party and both the mothers look as well. You MUST choose KLM Artistry!

Kim of KLM Artistry was simply AMAZING!! Kim did my hair and makeup for the big day and I couldn't of been any happier. Kim truly made me look at feel like the most beautiful bride! It was such a pleasure working with Kim, who is so talented at what she does. Not only is Kim so talented and skilled at hair and makeup, but she is also very personable and friendly. Kim not only helped with getting me ready, but she also stuck around while we were doing some family pictures and she was helping the whole family! I was just so impressed with everything that is Kim. I would suggest KLM Artistry to ALL!

Kim was absolutely amazing! Not only did my wedding line love her but she was the biggest help of my day. Her make up is beautiful, she really took the time and everything I said I wanted into consideration. I felt like a star that day with her there. She touched me up through out all of my photos, and even worked with my photographer and my line doing anything she could. She styled my mothers hair beautifully and even help my dad with a little powder for shine control lol. Looking back on my experience with her I would highly recommend her! I will definitely call Kim for future use, and her price was unbeatable!

Kim's talent is second to none! She is amazing to work with, and goes above and beyond in her service. We recently received the first peek of photos from my daughters wedding and Kims attention to detail is outstanding. She applied makeup on women ranging from 18 to 84 and made everyone look fabulous. I would highly recommend hiring Kim for any occasion or photo shoot. Kim is a sweetheart and you will love working with her!

It has been an absolute pleasure to work with Kim of KLM Artistry! Her talent is amazing and I couldn't have been happier with her services. I'm not normally one to make gushing comments but I've got to heap on the praise for Kim from KLM ARTISTRY. She was fantastic & one of the highlights of my wedding day. Being an older bride, I knew I wasn't going to be one of her easiest customers, but she made me look truly beautiful & about 10 years younger! And how she styled my hair was gorgeous! I'm still getting comments from my friends, even weeks later, about how great my hair looked. So not only did she make me & my daughter look fantastic but she definitely went beyond the call of duty. Besides coming to my home; she then followed me to my wedding site & stayed to make touch-ups for my photos! That was not expected but so much appreciated. So thank you very much Kim; not only were you fun & a pleasure to spend time with but you are extremely talented and it was a wonderful experience, from start to finish.

My mom paid for the make-up and hair package... so I cannot comment on the cost question.

Kim is excellent... really professional but also personable. She made me feel at ease, which is hard to do because I am self-conscious about my skin and makeup. My make-up on my wedding day was absolutely gorgeous. I could not have asked for any better service or a sweeter person to work with.

Kim and her assistant were incredible! They were on time, had all supplies, knew what was expected not only of them, but of me as the bride and Kim went above and beyond, out of her way to assist - doing so in ways I wouldn't have known I needed assistance! My bridesmaids and mom looked stunning. Kim is truly a professional, and she cares about her clients and her work. She knows exactly what to do and how to do it. Kim did an amazing job on my make-up for my wedding. I wanted a subtle look and she nailed it! Normally, I don't wear make-up, so for my wedding I didn't want to go overboard. Everyone says how natural I look... better than natural, actually! Kim also did the make-up for my mother and mother-in-law - and they looked better than I've ever seen them! Kim was understanding and helpful and knew exactly how to put an antsy bride at ease.

Kim is amazing! I found her through a bridal expo and then my sister-in-law used her for her wedding. Kim did my trial session for my engagement pictures and it was fantastic! When it came time for the big day she did even better!!! I paid for the package where she stays with you through the ceremony and into the reception. All my bridesmaids and my mom loved having her tag along. My photographer said that it was one of the best weddings she had ever shot because Kim was there to take away shine, fix that one hair that fell out of place and generally make everyone absolutely beautiful!

Kim is the best! We met before my wedding to do a trial hair and make-up run. On wedding day she came over to my house since that was where I wanted to have my hair and make-up done. Kim is so sweet and made me feel special and relaxed that morning. Everything turned out perfect. My make-up and hair looked flawless throughout the entire night. Because of her attention to detail and her amazing talent I looked and felt amazing!

I wanted to look beautiful and feel confident on my wedding day, and Kim made that dream come true. Kim was incredible. I was so happy with my wedding makeup and the way it came out in photos. She definitely knows what she's doing! Also, on the day of the wedding, it seemed like she was doing everything and helping in any way she could. She sewed the front of my dress to my bra so that it would stay in place, she helped with the guys' ties and boutonnieres, she helped my hairdresser get my veil into place, she helped put my jewelry on, etc. I am still so impressed with her and everything she did. I can't begin to thank her enough. If I ever need professional makeup again, I will definitely be calling her!

Kim was great. It was so nice having someone come to you and pamper you. I didn't have to worry about running around to 50 different places. Kim did an excellent job with hair and make up. The airbrush makeup is SOOO worth it. It lasts the whole night.
