Everyone should have their wedding reception at Knott's Berry Farm! They were, hands down, the BEST wedding reception venue we could have chosen. First of all, they were the best value. They provide just about everything, including the wedding cake! Their prices begin at $22 a person and include the reception hall, set up, linens, appetizer, meal, cake, and toast! They offer a wide variety of hors d'oeuvres, from fun to fancy. Their food is delicious and generously portioned. They also offer a wide variety of reception venues, from the Wilderness Dance Hall (our personal favorite), to the Boardwalk Ballroom, to the Knott's Chicken Dinner restaurant, to the Knott's Resort hotel.
Our wedding reception was at the Wildnerness Dance Hall, which was just as charming as I had imagined. Wood floors, country decorations adorning the walls and side of the stage, an old-timey stage beneath a red barn facade. But if you're not into the charming and quaint, you can just as easily have the traditional "fancy" ballroom reception at the Knott's Hotel. The wait staff was attentive and courteous and our reception coordinator, Kerensa Summers, was always available for questions, suggestions, and general aide prior to the reception and was onsite on the day of to make sure everything came together.
Did I mention the food was yummy? I could not have been more pleased with our wedding cake, too, which as I've said comes with the package. I could go on for days about how happy I was with our wedding reception; I wish I could get married all over again just to relive the party! If you're looking for a reception that is affordable, unique (or traditional), and provides all the bells and whistles, then look no further.

We had our reception in the Rosemond room at the top of the hotel. It has beautiful views all around. Food was good, staff was friendly.
Over all Knott’s is and ok place to get married. The coordinator is a pain to get a hold of, but you do eventually get your questions and needs taken care of. The day of the wedding ever thing wend smoothly. The chicken was really dry and I think they should have had a few more servers. I do not recommend using their DJ service they suck, but I wont get in to that since this review is for Knott’s and not their DJ.

Great place but make sure you collect everything after the wedding because they misplaced a velvet serving set box and other items.

This place was horrible. The "wedding coordinator" doesn't do jack. We did not receive some of the appetizers we paid for. They changed the sauce for the chicken we ordered. They changed the vegetarian dinners we ordered. They gave us apple cider for our wedding toast even though we specifically asked for champagne. The bar tender disappeared for over a half an hour leaving my mother in law to serve the drinks. Whenever I tried to get a hold of someone, both before and during the wedding, they were no where to be found. I tried to get a hold of the coordinator the day of the wedding, but she wasn't answering her phone or returning my calls. She made NO contact with me the day of the wedding until the ceremony was beginning. Someone at the front desk sent the flowers to the wrong location so the flowers were late for the pictures. Oh and after the wedding when we disputed some of the things we did not receive and the poor service, we were told that yes some of the contractual items were not met, but that they would not give us a refund. We had to dispute it with the credit card company to get some of the money back. Fortunately, they emailed me that they would not give a refund despite the fact that they did not live up to the contract. Since we had it in writing from them, we were able to get some money back. I strongly suggest going somewhere else for your wedding. They over charge with the gratuity and tax and give extremely poor service.

They interrupted parts of our religious ceremony while it was going on. Parts of the wedding were completely ruined and they would not compensate or apologize for any of it.
