Herb and his team was awesome! He was so patient in working with us within our budget range. He provided us a custom made menus that fit our budget and our taste. Just explain to him your concerns and he would gladly help and provide suggestions on ways to save money. At first, I thought we couldn't afford him but he did it. It was unbelievable! The food was great, he kept his promise to be at the reception site early. They were so professional and made sure our guests were satisfied. I love Herb he was just the coolest person I've ever met! They did a perfect job! Thank you so much Herb!

Herb was the BEST! It's tough when dealing with planning a destination wedding and Herb was so kind over his emails as my new BFF that it charmed me the whole way through the process. I want to thank him, Ruth at the front desk, the bartender, the wait staff, the behind the scenes staff, the break down and set up crews and everyone that made my day the most wonderful and beautiful day of my life.

Herb & his staff created a wonderful wedding party for us. The planing process went through smoothly via emails and one meeting even through we live in Japan. Herb was very flexible about last minute changes and his decisions were right. All guests said they loved the food, the decorations, and floral design! We had a very special day because of Creation In Catering.

We worked with Herbert Yamamoto from Creations in Catering. He was always available to answer questions. He reassured us with confidence that the cocktail hour and reception would go off without a hitch and he was right! The food was excellent!! Our guests (Hawaii locals and US mainlanders) were thoroughly impressed with the misoyaki butterfish and the lau lau! The wait staff, cooks and bartender were all very professional and did a wonderful job!

Herb and staff went out of their way to make sure my wife and I were comfortable , ate well and especially made my wedding party and us feel spacial as if we were royalty. The staff was also polite to me even though I was irate with someone outside of creations in catering. With their professionalism they quickly calmed me down by being polite and introducing themselves to us and accomidating my every need. The staff also did extra decorating upon my request and did extra fixing up to the minutest detail. I am very pleased with the outcome and still receiving comments via e-mail, phone ,facebook etc. ,. Herb and staff @ Creations In Catering made me very pleased with the outcome, after all I was nicknamed , " GROOMZILLA" this past weekend. Much MAHALO to Creations In Catering. YOU ARE ICHIBAN ! (thats number 1 in Japanese if you didn't know)

Herb & his staff were so wonderful. Everyone kept saying how friendly & professional they were. They were very attentive and even made us new plates since our food got cold when we went to take sunset pix. Herb always responded quickly and was great with my last minute additions & changes. Service, communication, and great tasting food is what is important. They definitely came through on all three. I also love how they personalized the menu right from the quote. The little details mean a lot. I would definitely use them again!

Very flexible and easy to work with!

Creations in Catering, and particularly Herb Yamamoto, created a wonderful wedding for me and my now-husband. I live in Los Angeles and despite the distance during the planning process, Herb provided excellent customer service. He was very responsve via phone and email, which was so important to me. Herb was always so nice and friendly on the phone and in his emails always making sure to say, "Have a nice day!"

My experience with the company started off a little rocky with a couple of staff changes, but Herb was able to step in and smooth everything out and regained my confidence in Creations in Catering. He is very knowledgable and was able to offer very good advice. For example, I was having trouble locating tablecloths with a black-and-white damask print and Herb was able to find exactly what I was looking for. And on top of that, he graciously allowed me to order the tablecloths directly from the vendor saving me a few extra dollars.

On the day of the wedding, Herb and his staff pulled everything off just perfectly! They exceeded our expectations, which are very high!! We had a dedicated server, named Jeffrey, for our head table. He took care of our every need. Once we finally sat down at our table after taking photos and saying hi to guests, Jeffrey immediately brought us a special plate of the hors d'oeuvres that had been hand-passed during the cocktail hour - and it was great timing because I was seriously about to pass out after only eating a donut in the morning in combination with the emotions of the day. At the end of the night, Jeffrey let us know that he had prepared boxes of food for us to take back to our hotel room since he knew we did not have much of a chance to eat during our reception...so thoughtful!

For our favors, Creations in Catering put together a beautiful candy bar with different types of glass vases and apothecary jars just as I had requested. Herb scoured the island for the perfect 'yellow' candies to complement our color scheme. Guests were able to help themselves and put together their own candy bags to take home as favors. Jeffrey also put together a few bags for us to take with us - a very nice touch!

Creations in Catering was just amazing. I would highly recommend them for anything! :)

We had small wedding with only 50 people. The food was scrumptious and the presentation was perfect for an intimate gathering. I would highly recommend them.
