Konditor Meister

Because our wedding package with our venue came with cake included, we were tied to Konditor Meister automatically. Had I the option, I would've had my cousin make our cake as an up-and-coming baker. Having said that, the cake itself was amazing. The flavors were simply decadent, and they did a great job seeing my vision through, as unique as it was. Their service, on the other hand, left room for improvement. Because they're in Braintree, and we live in Danvers, it's a hike to get there for our tasting. We had to go twice because they didn't have flavors available during the first tasting that we wanted to try. Upon getting caught in unexpected traffic the second time, we were forced to cancel and reschedule our appointment because they wouldn't accommodate us if we were slightly late, as told to us by a teenage boy. I really think they'd benefit by hosting tastings at the reception venue given that they are an automatic vendor. It would make life easier for brides who don't live in the area. But when all is said and done, the cake was yummy, fondant free, all buttercream and decorated impeccably. Service needs improvement.

My wedding cake was gorgeous along with an incredible taste everyone love my cake. It was so perfect that it didnt even look real that how wll my cake was made. I never excpected for it to look the way it did. They exceeded my expectations.

I received my wedding cake from Konditor Meister as part of a package from my reception location. The cake was beautiful and delicious. The only part I was slightly disappointed about was the tasting. We were not offered the entire selection of cakes which I did not learn until after I had selected my cake type. I probably would have selected a different type if I had an opportunity to try all the different types.

The cake itself was great. We got the raspberry lemon and it was insanely great. The cake was everything we hope for. We did not use fondant and had a simple 4 tiered white cake with black ribbon at the bottom of every tier and green fake flowers at the top. The cake looked and tasted great. I was not very happy with our first cake tasting as the girl helping did not seem to know anything at all. We went again to make final decisions and luckily she was not there anymore. So that was good to know. I also did not appreciate that if we were 15+ minutes late they would not attend us. It was a bit of a hassle when traveling from far and with traffic to arrive to the site. Aside from that, the quality of the cakes is to die for.

Best cake tasting we went to (so much cake!) and the cake that was delivered was amazing. Three different flavors, absolutely beautiful and just what we requested. The only problem was it was eaten so quickly I wish I had three more pieces!! I highly recommend them.

We had our cake from Konditor Meister as part of our wedding package with our venue. Having known the quality of Konditor Meister already, I was so excited to get our cake from them. Mary was so easy to work with at our consultation and helped guide us toward a beautiful cake with delicious flavors. Our cake was stunning and fit our theme perfectly. Not only did the cake look gorgeous, but it tasted amazing! We had three flavors and got to enjoy all three on our wedding day. Although I still love the chocolate cake with chocolate mousse, the Grand Marnier really is their signature flavor and shouldn't be missed! Some of our guests loved the cake so much, they even had three or four pieces and said it was the best wedding cake they have ever had.

I thought my wedding cake came out really pretty. I think buttercream could have been smoothed out a little bit more on the sides, but the design was simple, elegant, and exactly what I wanted.They let us choose up to 4 different flavors at no additional cost. The cake was actually included in our wedding package for Tewksbury Country Club [otherwise would have cost approx $600]. The chocolate cake was not my favorite. It was good, but I felt like it was a little dry, and not as good as other chocolate cakes I had tasted in the past. However, with that said - the Strawberry Grand Marnier and Tiramisu cakes are TO DIE FOR. Ther are so light, airy, and moist. The flavors are fantastic. We had fresh strawberries and fresh rasperries added to the strawberry grand marnier cake, and it was by far my personal favorite. I will go back there for cakes in the future for other events. I just won't get the chocolate again.

Our cake was part of our package at Lake Pearl Luciano's, so we did not have to pay for it individually. That said, it was the most delicious cake I have EVER eaten in my entire life. We live about 15 minutes from KM and plan to go get a small version of it for every anniversary that we live in the area. We had the white cake with the strawberry filling and the chocolate with the raspberry. They were super accommodating in using a design from a premium square cake on our normal round. They gave us advice on the color combination, helping us avoid what would have been a blue-teeth disaster from doing the scrollwork in dark blue.We also had a few gluten-free guests and KM had one flourless chocolate cake option, so we also ordered a small one of those (at extra cost) which was apparently quite delicious. A million thumbs up.

Beautiful and delicious!!! The whole Konditormeister experience blew us away. From the "sample" meeting, to our awesome sales lady (sorry, I forget her name!) to the amazing cupcakes and cake! We ordered cupcakes for the guests (vanilla with chocolate mousse, and chocolate with white chocolate mousse) and a cake for ourselves. We over ordered by about 40 and left with nothing. SO delicious!

Konditor Meister made me the cake of our dreams within our budget. My husband and I visited a few different cake vendors and fell in love with a specific cake that was way out of our price range. Konditor Meister baked us the cake of our dreams, with our customized colors, for no extra cost. Our cake was 4-tiered with a different flavor in each tier and still cost half of what the other vendor wanted for a 3-tiered cake. The cake was beautiful and tasted amazing. I am so happy that we chose this vendor.

We had such a hard time deciding on cake flavors that we had to go twice for tastings! The staff was great to work with each time. One thing to note though is that if you do have specific flavors you want to try, mention it when you book your appointment. Sometimes they need to put in an order to accommodate. Our wedding cake looked beautiful and tasted great!

The cake and cupcakes we had at our wedding were delicious. However, the flavor options that do not have alcohol in them are extremely limited. You cannot even get a simple chocolate wedding cake there. The pricing is a little steep, but the portions are large. The design on my cake was not what I had specified and given a picture of, but was still pretty.

Our wedding cake was amazing!!! They created the vision I had in my mind. The cake was moist and delisious. The sugared grapes were fresh and beautiful.

Our cake came out beautiful and it was VERY tasty! I recieved very good feedback from my guests about the cake. Konditor Meister also allowed me to send them the ribbon I wanted them to use on the base of each tier. I live in Michigan and our wedding was in Boston. I picked out the ribbon in Michigan and sent it to them about a week before the wedding. I had no issues! As far as the tasting went, EVERY piece they brought out was amazing. We had a really hard time deciding what flavor to use. They also allow you to choose a different type of cake for each tier. I thought that was really cool! I would highly recommend them!

My cake was delicious !I went in on two separate occasions to talk to them. The first time I went in I was told they could not do the height I wanted for my cake. The second time I went in I was told they could do it for an additional price.In the end I did get what I wanted.Anything you may want to add to their average wedding cake is going to cost you more even if it's only a few flowers.Things I never thought about.1) the additional delivery charge that's added on.2) the steep rental fee for those pretty cake stands if you want to rent one.All in all the cake was pretty and it tasted great.

What a cake! That's all I can say about Konditor Meister. My wife found a picture in a bridal magazine of a cake that looked like the bride's dress. Naturally, my wife wanted a cake that matched her dress. She chose the look, I chose the flavor (after sampling half a dozen or more options, of course). The cake was absolutely stunning, I wish that I could post a picture. It was so elaborate that we felt guilty about cutting it. Most importantly however, it tasted great, better than its competitors (which I also sampled extensively, of course) in the area. You won't regret ordering a cake from Konditor Meister.

Konditor Meister was very easy to work with. We spent a lot of time at the store picking the design of our cake with our parents and everybody was very patient with us. They also have color swatches on hand which was nice since we didn't bring our own. Their prices are quite reasonable for a wedding cake (especially if you go with the simpler designs) and everybody loved the taste!

We loved going to the cake tasting! They let us try any of their MANY cake choices which were all very good. They’re very flexible with what you want as far as flavor and design, and also give good suggestions if you have no idea what you want. We received many compliments on our cake! They’re so friendly and easy to work with, that this one vendor that was a pleasure to deal with.

I had gone to Konditor Meister for a tasting with my mother and sister[and Maid of Honor] and their cake was amazing! We tried about eight different cakes that day and knew this cake was going to be our wedding cake. I scheduled an additional tasting to try a couple more flavors, and the Strawberry Grand Marnier again[SO GOOD!!!] and they were more than accomidating. Each time they sent me home with a little bakery love box to take home. When I showed them a picture of what I wanted for a cake they photocopied it and drew it out along with a sample of the dress color. I knew I was in great hands. The only complaint I had was trying to confirm the cake, I called a week or so prior and had no response, I finally remembered I still had yet to confirm the day before our wedding and called, the woman who answered the phone was very nice and told me that everything would be all set. When I got to our venue the day of the wedding, the cake was everything I could ever imagine it to be! It was gorgeous and it tasted absolutely delicious! I recieved so many compliments on our cake and our flavor choices[all four of them!] We had SO much leftover cake, I literally gave pounds of it away to people! Who doesn't love Konditor cake though? Thank you for such an amazingly gorgeous cake!!!

Our cake was gorgeous, and absolutely delicious. We also had the bride and groom chocolate covered strawberries and a birthday cake made for my grandfather, and everything came out amazing. They were a pleasure to work with, and delivered everything on time. I highly recommend this place!! We will be ordering from here again in the future :)

Everyone knows that konditor meister has delicious cakes. But as delicious as they are, they are even more beautiful. I had no idea what I wanted for our wedding cake. But as soon as I walked in, I saw it! The tasting was amazing! Too many flavors to choose! we narrowed it down to 2..and got to bring home some delicious goodies! Even when I started second guessing the cake design I chose, they talked me out of it and promised me something beautiful and they definitely delivered! When I first saw my cake at my venue it was breath taking! the focal poing of the room, it fit my theme and colors perfect! Everyone commented on how beautiful it was! I was so pleased!

We ordered our wedding cake from Kodito meister in Braintree MA and paid for it in advance. Our wedding was at the Fairmont Copley in Boston on July 30th. But the cake did not arrive on our special day. Our Hotel manager who was incharge of the event called Kondito meister several times that day only to hear that there was no such order placed or paid for under our name and to call back on the next business day which was two days away. When I did call the owner on Monday, the story changed and he said that the cake was delivered to Fairmont Park Plaza because that is where we had asked them to send to. He did not know who at the other hotel signed for the cake. Their is no hotel by the name Fairmont Park Plaza. He was very apologetic and seemed to do something for us for their mistake. When I got back from my honeymoon which turned out horrible because all we talked about was the missing cake, I get to speak to their manager Julie and had to go over the details all over again.. Today neither Julie nor the owner are answering my phone calls and a third manager basically tells me to contact their attorney.. I hope no one has gone thru this ordeal on their special day but if anyone has can you please guide us as to what our recourse is... All they are offering is to return our money and wash their hands off... They dont realize that a wedding cake is a very important part of a wedding and cannot be compared to buying a TV and returning it and returning our money back...

Konditor Meister did a fabulous job with our wedding cake. The presentation and taste exceeded my expectation. If you're in the New England area, choose this one. Their presentation and cake-tasting process was wonderful and even gave us a gift at the end of our appointment; very professional.

Absolutely delicious! This was the best cake we have ever had - not too sweet, it was just right. The design service was wonderful and it was such a fun surprise to see the finished cake at the reception. I highly recommend Konditor Meister!

Our cake was my vision come to life! I loved everything about it, it was exactly what I wanted and the taste matched up with the beauty of it.We also ordered favors from them, "bride and groom" choc dipped strawberries, pricey (5.00 for the pair) but oh so cute, a huge hit!

If you want an amazing wedding cake, or any pastry for that matter, then don't bother looking anyplace else other than konditor meister. From the most amazing cake tasting, note full size pieces of 10 slices of cake, to the design process, konditor meister covers it all. Price for each piece of cake was extremely well priced. Flavors of cake include, but are not limited to Grand Marnier, Bailey's Creme, Lemon & Rasberry, Oreo Cookie, and tons more. They have the most exquisite designers and can match the REAL Buttercream frosting to any color imaginable. I highly recommend going with konditor meister.

Konditor Meister made two cakes, both were beautiful! They made us a traditional wedding cake which was exactly what we wanted. They also made us a groom's cake which far exceed my expectations. I thought it was going to be very simple, but it was very elaborate. We were planning our wedding from out of state and had scheduled six appointments and Konditor Meister by far had the best prices. We liked the taste of the cake better at a few of the other places we visited, but we ended up picking konditor Meister because of their prices and were very happy with how the cakes turned out.

Konditor Meister did a great job on our cake. The whole process of picking a cake flavor and design was very simple. The staff was friendly and helpful. They allowed us to customize our cake with the flavors offered. We combined two different styles and it turned out delicious!

Konditor Meister is an outstanding place for your wedding cake! Our cake was absolutely stunning. It looked exactly like we had planned and it was so beautiful to look at! Our guests were completely blown away with the look and taste of our cake. Each layer had a different flavor and it did not cost extra. We were thrilled with our cake's appearance and taste.

the cake taste absolutely amazing, we gone there 2 times because we decided on changing our design, in the end, we end up paying roughly 600 extra for the cake because we just keep adding more designs on it, but they were able to accommodate our requests.

Konditor Meister makes the most delicious pastry I've had in a long time. My new husband and I were overjoyed when we saw how our wedding cake turned out. It was beautifully decorated and completely reflected the theme of our entire wedding. We never needed to repeat ourselves and everything went without a hitch. It was an amazing experience and we keep looking for excuses to buy cakes from them. Thank you Konditor for a wonderful & delicious wedding cake!!!

Delicious and gorgeous cake - one complaint is that lavender flowers looked a bit more blue than purple, but overall it was great

We had a new girl help us during our first cake tasting and she wrote down everything incorrectly. I had to go back for a second tasting and they could not find the order form. I finally was able to schedule time with the bridal consultant manager and she was able to provide me with all the answers to my questions. Overall the cake was great, although I think they missed a special request on the flavor of the cake but regardless it was delivered to newport ri on time and tasted delicious.

Our cake came with our package, I had a simple idea for the decoration of the cake, and Konditor Meister was very accomodating.Although I only got a taste of the cake that day, I look forward to defrosting our carrot cake top tier for our first anniversary!

I can't say enough great things about Konditor Meister and our wedding cake. The cake tasting was fun and informative, we felt comfortable and all the cakes we tasted were delicious. It was hard to narrow down our choices! I wanted to change the design of the cake and contacted them with my changes - they got back to me immediately and it wasn't a problem. On the wedding day, our cake came out better than expected, the design was exactly what I wanted and it was delicious too!

We ordered a layer of Gran Marnier and a layer of Mocha Chocolate. The cake not only tasted excellent on the day but it turned beautiful.

We asked for a white cake with silver accents, we wanted seashells and coral. We chose a 4-layer cake with different flavored layers - Chocolate Fudge, Tiramisu, Mango and Carrot cake. Not only did the cake taste delicious, the design was amazing! The cake presented so beautifully at the New England Aquarium, it definitely exceeded my expectations. All the guests had fun choosing a flavor to try (or going back to try all). Konditor Meister was so easy to work with - very professional, nice, and efficient. I barely had to do anything to coordinate. I highly recommend them for design and taste.

Delicious wedding cakes! You all need to go to their tastings. It was one of my most favorite things that I did as a bride-to-be. Flexible with the delivery time, and even helped me plan a surprise wedding cake for my parents that we gave to them as an anniversary present (we got married on their anniversary). My only gripe was that sometimes I was put on hold for a long time and waited for help, but staff were always helpful and professional.

We loved our cake - strwberry gran mardier, choc/raz, and lemon/raz. beautiful and delivered in perfect shape and tim.

We went to discuss how we wanted it to be decorated and we brought photos of other wedding cakes and spent a lot of time explaining what we wanted. Someone drew up a cake and scribbled notes all around it and the final result was completely lost in translation. The cake itself was delicious but the decoration was a joke. I was so surprised after seeing all the cakes they had on display in their showroom. We paid and extra $100 for fresh flowers to be placed on the top. My wedding had blue hydrangeas and I specified that they needed to be blue and got really lame pale white and green weedy looking flowers with a tiny hint of blue. I originally asked them to make hydrangeas from frosting but they said fresh flowers was the way to go. We asked for a little bit of tiny clover vines creeping up and showed them pictures of other beautiful cakes that had it. We got giant Chernobyl clovers in a ridiculous cartoon green color - didn't match the color of the other flowers we paid to be on the cake. Didn't look real and natural. Not impressed. Tasted good - looked stupid for how much it cost. You could go anywhere else and get a nicer cake.

Our wedding cake from KM came included in our venue, and we had a blast at our cake tasting. Definitely bring friends, as you'll be presented with more cake than you know what to do with. We also got some goodies to take home with us. Definitely one of the highlights of the wedding planning process.

I had konditor keister design my cake for our wedding in May 2011. Months prior me and my family had gone into the Braintree store for a taste testing. Going in I was a bit overwhelmed with their being so many options to choose from. The people I worked with were very helpful in showing me in the right direction and assuring me if at some point I was unsure of anything I could come back and try other flavors or go over anything again. They had a cake there that I loved minus a few details I wanted to change to better go with my theme. I will say the final product the day of the wedding was more than I could have imagined. The cake was humongous and for the price we paid and what we got, you would think we paid double of what we actually did. For something as big and important as my wedding I would have never gone to any other place or trusted any other place to capture my vision. I would recommend them to any future bride. May 14, 2011

We wanted a very simple cake and we were very happy with the final product we recieved from Konditor Meister. They also gave us the option of having a different flavor cake for each layer - we went with strawberry grand marnier, tirimisu, and carrot cake. Since the carrot cake layer was small, they recomended also including a carrot sheet cake out back so there would be enough options for our guests - this helped keep the price down. We never managed to eat our own cake, but it looked pretty and our guests raved about it.The only negative is that during our cake tasting, we felt a bit rushed in and out. This is a busy bakery and they do a great job, but as a result it felt a bit like they were hearding cattle during the sales process.

So easy to set up the appointment, have the tasting and look through books of designs. The people there were so thoughtful and sat with you to figure out exactly what you wanted and they listened and drew everything out for you. Not to mention the cake was absolutely delicious and on the wedding day our cake was the prettiest cake I have ever seen. Unbelievable. It is worth the drive!

I rated them low for flexibility because I really didn't get the color I wanted even though I left a ribbon for them to use to match the color. The cake did look beautiful and tasted great. My only negative was that there was TOO MUCH buttercream frosting! I mean, it was half the cake! But once you get past that, the rest of the cake tasted great!

We wanted a very simple cake. What we got was simple but beautiful and classic. The flavor we picked was a gold cake with Bailey's chocolate fudge center. It was so decadent and everyone loved it. The cost was great - I really thought our cake would be way more expensive than it was. I would not hesitate to recommend Konditor Meister for a wedding cake!!

Konditor Meister did a beautiful job on our wedding cake. There were so many flavors to choose from and each one was delicious. We chose strawberry grand marnier and mimosa for our layers. Our guests were so impressed. The cake was moist and very tasty. Totally recommend this baker. Amazing.

My wedding cake was stunning it was amazing!!! They are so talented and whatever you ask for you get it and it comes out absolutely stunning :) thank you for creating such a beautiful cake for my wedding and it tasted soooooooo good !!!!!

One of the most beautiful cakes we have ever seen but ,best of all, it was absolulutely delicious!

Honestly my cake was one of the things I was a little disappointed in. The cake tasted absolutely delicious. I also ordered a groom's cake which came out great but the colors on the wedding cake were a little off. I had wanted hot pink tulips on top and they weren't exactly the right color.Also I had an issue with the person who delivered the cake. When he was delivering it, my mom and other family members saw it and asked to look at it. He told me that he really didn't like the colors of the cake. My stepdad responded that’s fine but it doesn't matter because it wasn't his wedding cake. As the delivery person walks away he proceeds to say "well, I have good taste" This interaction left a bad taste in my mouth. I will say when I called to complain they were very apologetic and did send me a gift certificate. However, it did dampen the day a little.

Not much to say here, they are the best and everyone knows it.

I went to Konditor Meister with an exact image in my mind of what I wanted for a wedding cake. I had a couple photos and sketches to help describe what I was looking for. They were very attentive, walking us around the rooms and showing us similar details on other cakes to help paint a better picture of what I was looking for. In the end, the cake was my favorite part of the wedding. It was amazing - an exact replica of what I wanted and described. The detail was mind blowing. I also got so many compliments on how great it tasted.

WORST CAKE EVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR IT WAS THE LEANING TOWER PF PISA WAITING FOR A PARTIAL REFUND BUT THE CHECK IS NOPT IN THE MAIL. SHOWER CAKE WAS AWFUL TOO THE WRITING WAS FADED AND BLURRY. SLOPPY AMATUER GO TO A GROCERY STORE AND SAVE MONEY THERE MUST BE A REASON THEY DO NOT TAKE VISA

A wedding cake came with out package from one of two bakeries. We decided to go to Konditor Meister because they were able to incorporate everything we wanted into our cake. Though it cost us a little extra because we really wanted a lot of height to the cake, it was well worth it because it looked incredible. We had taken elements of a few of the cakes we saw in the store and they put them together beautifully!

Our wedding cake was included in our reception package and they gave us 3 vendors to choose from. We visited 2 of them (Konditermeister and Icing on the Cake). We chose Konditermeister primarily because they just had a lot more flavors to choose from and in particular a couple flavors we really liked the IOTC did not have. They did an amazing job with the cake. It was beautiful-- just perfect and even more beautiful than I'd imagined. As for taste, I was too busy to eat any but we got great comments from our guests.

Fabulous and delicious! We went for a quick tasting, as we live out of state... they were efficient and brought us a variety of cakes that we loved. We chose the Srawberry Grand Marnier. The strawberry had large pieces of extremely fresh strawberries between the layers - not jam or jelly filling. It didn't really taste of Grand Marnier, which was great. I don't even like cake and I loved this!As for the design, I emailed them a picture of something I saw online and they replicated it EXACTLY. It was beautiful. Now, I have never really cared about wedding cake... what it looks like, what it tastes like... but this was really gorgeous. And delicious. I would recommend them again and again.

The cake was fabulous! It was one of the few things in the wedding that showcased the pattern that inspired our theme & colors. Not only was the pattern done nicely on the cake, but they also added the design my husband designed with our monogram and a pop of rolled chocolate red roses on top. Everyone loved the cake and couldn't believe there was no more at the end of the night. This will be our ONLY bakery from now on!

DO NOT USE KONDITOR MEISTER FOR YOUR WEDDING CAKE!!!! First, I ordered my grooms cake from them, and it was not ready for the day I asked. They rushed it out to me since I was crying because I was the bride and had no time to wait the day before my wedding. It ended up looking sloppy and not exactly what I had asked for. Then, my wedding cake top tier was crooked!!!!! I have had a number of my guests comment on how the cake looks crooked in pictures!!! On top of all of this, one of the two flavors of cake was incorrect!!!! How can you mess up a wedding cake flavor??? I even had a menu printed with the cake options that ended up being wrong because of them. They should be ashamed. Do yourself a favor...go somewhere else.

The tasting was a great experience, Even the chef came out and spoke with us. It was so much fun. We compared to the other vendor we were allowed to use for cakes from our reception site and Konditor Meister won hands down against Montillio's for taste as well as decorative. We went with the black forest cake (Chocolate cake) on the bottom and the Strawberry Gran Marnier (white cake) for the top layer so our guests would have a choice. We will go back on our anniversary and get a fresh cake rather than eat a stale one out of the freezer.They have much better decorative capabilities from what we could see even though they appeared more restrictive based on the presentation - it was the same at the other venue when you dug in and asked the questions. The only thing I have to say that drove my score down was when I was a bit nervous and called to eliminate one item from the decorations because it seemed unclear that it would come out as I hoped. The girl on the phone was rather rude to me when I called and I was being very nice and asked if it would be ok. I called a week in advance so it really should not have been such a big deal. The cake looked as I had ordered it and it tasted great. We took lots of it home and fed it to our out of town guests for several days.

We used Konditormeister for our 10/16 wedding and our cake was absolutely beautiful (and delicious!) People at our wedding were in awe of the cake! People constantly came up to me and told me how beautiful the cake was! The only issue I had with it was the monogram. It almost looked like it was just "thrown" on at the last minute - almost like it was forgotten. Other than that, it was awesome!

they made the exact cake that I wanted. I was in charge of the outside, and we made a few personal upgrades to a floor model. The look of the cake was amazing, definitely the show stopper we were looking for. My wife was in charge of the inside of the cake. we didnt have it the night of the wedding, but the next day, the cake wasnt as good as I had expected it to be. Guests who ate it the night of, loved it though.

Konditor Meister was wonderful. They were very helpful in trying to capture my vision for the day of the wedding. They were overly accomodating and you could have each layer of cake a different flavor with no additional charge. And what I liked most was their thoughtfulness to detail. They took parts of my dress and made the most intricite designs which they then piped onto the cake. No fondont either (which I don't think tastes good) and they made is look seamless. They were professional, and Mary was excellent in guiding you in the right direction for your big day. The cake with the fruits in it came out wonderful or anything with alcohol b/c it kept the cake moist. We did however get one layer chocolate cake with oreo buttercream filling and it was a little bit dry. Overall though, wonderful experience! You won't be sorry!

Konditor Meister made the best cake we ever tasted. Everyone loved the look of the cake. It was very simple yet elegant. Three tier, square cake with chocolate covered strawberries that were decorated like a bride and groom. Our flavor was gold cake with white chocolate mousse and fresh strawberries and then another filling of the chocolate rum mousse. It was suppose to feed 100 people and I ended up with a whole tier left over....so it's def worth the money. Only drawback was the cake was a little drier than when we went to the tasting, but when you have to bake that much of it, it's expected.Other than that, no complaints at all!

We chose the carrot cake and it was soooo good!!

Konditor Meister is the best place for cakes! We always get all our family's cakes here and had them do our wedding cake which was absolutely perfect! We had a 3 tier round caked, the top 2 layers were tiramisu and the bottom strawberry grand marnier so yummy! All of our guest loved it!

The wedding cake we got from Konditor Meister was a masterpiece -- everyone was marveling at it!! We went to the bakery approximately 6 mos. before the wedding. Tasted approximately 5 -6 different cakes (all of which were delicious), made our decision, gave the order, paid for the cake and left. Honestly, I thought for sure that the cake would never be at the reception and certainly not the way we ordered it. I am glad to say that I was wrong. It was perfect!! They certainly know what they are doing and the cake was unbelievable!!!

Did not work with the directly on price or delivery. But did go in and sample and select cake. It was absolutely delicious and so easy to work with them. Created exactly what we chose and gave a variety of options for flavors. Many compliments on the appearance and taste of our cake!

Their cakes are delicious!!! Cake tasting was one of the best parts of planning the wedding!! Everyone there is friendly and helpful. The cake came out beautifully with no problems and more than on time!!

Our wedding cake was beautiful and tasted so yummy! We can't wait for our anniversary to eat the top layer. It was simple, yet very elligant. I loved it! The people were wonderful and during our tasting they brought us out many samples of not only cake, but pastries too! Everything was delicious. We would reccomend Konditor Meister for ANY occasion! They had great ideas to go with what I wanted. The cake tasted amazing, they did three different flavors for us (one on each layer!) The cake was beautiful in the end. The cost was built into the cost of my wedding reception, so we only paided an upgrade charged for rolled chocolate stars on it and it was very reasonable.

My husband and I are not big on sweets in general and were going to forgo a cake altogether in lieu of other desserts we were having. However my aunt, who has sworn by KM for years, surprised us with a cake as a gift. She has always loved their pastries, so I assume that they were great in the areas of responsiveness, professionalism, value, and flexibility. The only thing I can truly comment on is the quality, which was actually quite good. The Strawberry Grand Marnieer flavor was excellent - the only one I actually got to taste. My husband got a brief taste of the chocolate and thought it was a little dry.The design of the cake was pretty basic, but it was special to us nonetheless because it was a gift.

Konditor Meister was part of our wedding package. However, in order to create the cake we wanted it was a $400 upgrade. The tasting is a bit overwhelming and we decided on two flavors which was not an issue at all. I gave them pictures and we discussed what the cake would look like. However, I was not happy with the way the cake turned out. It was to have almost a stencil effect painted onto it with a gold shimmer and ribbons around each tier. There was no gold shimmer and the stencils were almost cartoony vs. crisp and there were these purpleish flowers stuck onto the cake which didn't tie in with the stenciled leaves all that much and our colors were sage/berry not PURPLE. It had fresh raspberries and grapes on it which was lovely and it tasted great. I would have loved to have had a preview beforehand. We left the cake out for awhile and had the cake cutting later in the evening so it could be admired but very few oooed and aaahed and paid any attention to it at all. Like I said, tasted great but didn't look like I wanted.

It was not the shape I wanted but it tasted good and it still looked beautiful.

I fell in love with my wedding cake and I usually do not like their cakes, but it was beautiful and I had to have it. When I tried the cake at the tasting it was good. The day of the wedding I was disappointed with the way the frosting was so heavy and thick. The cake was BEAUTIFUL, but the taste was just okay.

Our cake was wonderful!!! I had picked out a design I loved online. It had intricate "henna" detail throughout each layer. We went for a tasting at the bakery and they brought us at least 10 different flavors to try. Though they were all wonderful, we decided on carrot cake (the best I've ever had), their signature flavor, Strawberry Grand Marnier, and tiramisu. Our cake was 4 tiers. The personal service we received was wonderful, including when we decided to change a flavor of a tier. On our wedding day, the cake was absolutely perfect. It looked exactly like the online design, better even! The flavor of the cake was delicious, and we received many complements on the cake. We will be using the bakery for future cake orders for sure!!

When planning our wedding, we did not even consider other cake vendors. We knew right off the bat we had to have a Konditor Meister cake! The cake itself was absolutely amazing. My only complaint is that the color of the accent flowers on the cake was not exactly the color I had wanted but it was close enough that nobody noticed the difference except for me. The cake was beautiful and everybody loved it!

My wedding cake came out amazing. Olivia Mahoney was the consultant that helped us pick out our cake and place our order. She was extremely niced and listened to what we wanted. The day of the wedding our cake was exactly what I had requested and it tasted so good. My guests kept commenting on how beautiful and tasty the cake was. I was very happy with the level service I received and would recommend Konditor Meister to others.

Our cake for our wedding on 9/3/2010 was not only beautiful, it was even more delicious! Although we barely had time ourselves to enjoy it, everyone else loved it!Thank you KM!

Loved this cake! Olivia Mahoney was out consultant and she was amazing! She helped us match our colors perfectly and helped us put together the perfect wedding cake! With so many flavors and options to choose from you can't go wrong!!

I had heard great things about Konditor Meister, but did not know just how great their cakes were until I went for my tasting. The hardest part was choosing the flavors for the cake because every flavor we tried was so delicious. We ended up choosing the chocolate cake with oreo mousse (my favorite), vanilla cake with fresh strawberries and gran marnier and tiramisu. The guests loved the cake and I have so many pictures of our cake because it was just so beautiful and almost exactly mimicked the design photo I requested.

Overall I wasn't as pleased with Konditor Meister as I thought I'd be. We mostly went with them because we had heard of them and our reception location listed them as a preferred vendor. My cake design was easy enough, as there weren't flowers or cake toppers. I was looking for a quilted look with dark red ribbon on the base of each tier (photos and swatches were provided). They told me I would need to provide my own ribbon, which I thought was odd but agreed to. On my final visit I provided the ribbon, nailed down the flavors and design and left, only to get a call an hour later saying the type of ribbon was wrong...I'd provided a polyester ribbon, they needed acetate. Nobody told me this beforehand, and as I don't bake for a living would have had no clue. I spent the rest of the afternoon looking for acetate ribbon and brought it back, only to discover they had enough of the right ribbon in the right color in their own stock room! (Luckily this was the only real glitch of wedding planning, but it was still a pain!) The wedding day arrives and I get to look at my cake...I was underwhelmed. The colors of the buttercream and ribbon were much darker than I asked for, but they were coordinated, so I let that go. I had asked several times to have the quilted look on the sides and the top of the tiers, as I had minimal decorations on the cake. They only quilted the sides, so it looked unfinished. Later, when we were cutting the cake (still enjoying the moment) I realized they didn't even use a ribbon, they used an odd-tasting buttercream/frosting that was piped on! Glad I went through all the trouble to find a ribbon that nobody used. The process leading up to the cake delivery was ok...the first meeting everyone was kind and helpful, and the flavors I picked were great (though the cake was a little dry, the fillings were yummy!), and the final tasting/meeting was overall great, up until the ribbon debacle. My opinion of them sank after that, and culminated in an only-so-so cake. If you're thinking of Konditor Meister, look at other places too so you know what else is out there.

The cake was not as moist as when we went for cake tasting- but very light and tasty still. It was beautiful and just as I ordered. The cake tasting itself was the best experience!!!!

I absolutely LOVED our cake. From the very start Konditor was very helpful, had atleast 12 pieces of cake for us to try and they staff was very pleasant. The goodie box to go was also amazing. The cake was delivered 2 hours early and it was flawless. The colors were perfect and the cake matched our vision. I would recommend them to everyone.

They gave us everything we asked for and the finished project was so gorgeous my jaw LITERALLY dropped when I saw the cake. Outstanding!

My cake was perfect. It looked exactly how I asked for it to look. The fresh flowers were gorgeous and actually way more abundant than we had initially talked about. I selected two different flavors--carrot cake and strawberry grand marnier. My personal favorite was the carrot cake (best I've ever had!), but my guests clearly enjoyed both flavors. The cake arrived on time and in perfect condition. All in all, they did an awesome job and I would definitely use them again and recommend them to any bride.

We loved the service of Konditor Meister! The hotel package we had provided a cake from either Konditor Meister or a couple of other reputable cake companies within the greater Boston area. Without a doubt, we chose Konditor Meister. It was easy to schedule free tastings at the establishment. We actually went to a couple of tastings there free of charge. The worked with us and answers many of our questions about design and flavors. The flavors are wonderful. We went with four flavors (4 tiers) strawberry Grand Mariner, lemon citron, chocolate mouse, and pumpkin spice. Each flavor came with a mouse layering (included in price not an extra charge). This was a great perk because other companies only provide jelly or jam; mouse is an additional cost . The strawberries in the grand mariner filling were so fresh the day of our wedding. We received many compliments from guests. Konditor Meister even did our wedding shower cake with rolled chocolate. The cake held fabulously in the hot July weather under the tent for a few hours. We highly recommend this vendor, and still purchase cakes for family functions from them!

Our wedding cake turned out amazing, exactly how we wanted it to be! The frosting is delicious, not too sweet and so light and fluffy! I wish we could've enjoyed more of our cake, we only got one (big) bite each, but we have the topper at home to enjoy sometime soon. Our flavor was the lemon cake and it was DELICIOUS. People told us it was the best wedding cake they ever had, so light and fluffy and perfect!

Konditor Meister made our wedding cake. It was absolutely beautiful! They have so many flavors to choose from and for no extra charge they allowed us to do a different flavor for each tier. There cakes are so good and very fairly priced :)

Through emails and phone calls, I set up an appointment for cake tasting and was told that only two people could attend because of the small room. My mom and maid of honor came with me anyway and there was more than enough room for us and I was upset that my groom had been left at home. They did make up for it by sending cake and a few desserts home with us for those who had been left at home. The cake was delicious and they gave us enough time to decide what we wanted as opposed to hurrying us along. For a relatively inexpensive cost, we got just enough for our guests so we won't have tons left over. With a location in Braintree, it is somewhat hard to get to but well worth the cab ride!

I went to 3-4 places on the cape. Even went back home to our old favorite bakery. Nothing could top Konditor Meister. They were so accomidating. The choices were ENDLESS. You need to make an appointment and it is totally worth the time. Prices were better than the bakeries on cape. Including the delivery charges, (Braintree to Barnstable). It was one of the most beautiful cakes I've ever seen. Make sure you make the time and check them out.

The cake was delicious at our tasting and they gave us some great samples to take home. We chose the Strawberry Grand Marnier and the marble with white chocolate mousse.. I was very impressed after this. But then Austen tried to drop off our beautiful silver stand that Suzy gave us and they were very rude to him and said they would not accept it. Finally they accepted it after Austen said he would call LP about it. The cake was beautiful the day of and exactly like the picture I showed them included matching the color. I can?t wait to eat the top for our anniversary!

I will only eat cake at this place, it is the Best, not 5 star becuase can be pricer than most other but worth it if u have money to spend

The cake was beautiful, on the expensive side though but so worth it! The people were really friendly and let us taste different cakes!

What can you say about Konditor Meister?? I have had their caks at many weddings. They are deifintely the best. I also had my daughters sweet 16 cake made by them and it was amazing. They did exactly what I wanted. They are a little expensive but you get what you pay for!! I will definitely get my childrens wedding cakes there when the time comes!
