Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
We have a wealth of expreience photographing all a large amount of different lighting situations. Using available and added light to create the best images possible is our specialty.
Is your media preference film or digital?
We photograph with high-quality professional digital equipment.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
We book a maximum of two weddings on any given day. Booking the frist wedding on a particular date gaurantees that Shawn, the owner will photograph your event. Each of our packages includes a free engagement sitting, so if Shawn is not available on your wedding day, that photographer that will shoot your wedding will also photograph your engagement sitting so you can get to know them. We feel that the worst thing for your wedding or event is to meet your photographer for the verry first time, the day of.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
We will book up to two events in a day, and no more then three in a weekend.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
KPK Photography has a staff of six freelance photographers that serve as a buck-up plan, in case of emergency.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
We always bring at least one complete set of back-up equipment with us to every event we photograph.
Do you charge hourly or full day?
Our packages are based on hourly rates, but full day packages can be custom made.
Do you charge for travel?
Travel is determined on a per event bases.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
Profs are delivered 2-4 weeks after the event.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
The initial proofs are offered in a hardbound proof book.
How long can the client keep the proofs?
Any proofs that are included in our packages are the client's to keep.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
KPK Photography retains the right to all photographs, under all circumstances. We do give printing releases with any digital files that are purchased.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
A basic model release which gives KPK Photography the right to publish the photos and use them for promotional purposes is included in our contract.
Will images be available for viewing online?
Most of our packages include web-hosting, but it can be added to any package for a small fee.
What kind of albums do you offer?
We specialize in custom designed lay-flat coffee table books, and also offer traditional and fusion style albums. Our albums come in sizes from 3"x3" to 16"x16".
When will the client get the final album?
The final album is delivered 4-6 weeks after the client picks the photos to be included in it.
