Kris is talented, professional, responsible, and an absolutely perfect person to have snapping your wedding photos. Kris shot our wedding in August 2011, and it's hard to express how thankful and happy we are that we chose him as our wedding photographer.

I'll start with the talent. If you've perused through Kris's website and blog, you've probably seen the many striking photos--great color, composition, and variety. It often seems like he is in three places at once by the way he captures moments and scenes from many different angles. His ability to capture the feeling and tone of our wedding day was truly impressive. When we look at the photos (which we do often!), we both smile ear to ear and are reminded of the euphoria of our wedding day. I know our wedding photos will provide great memories for many years to come.

Kris is also incredibly professional, responsible, and humble. He made sure he understood what we were looking for and was incredibly responsive to our questions and requests. It is very obvious that he wants his clients to absolutely love their wedding photos. From the first consultation, I knew we would not have to worry or stress about our photos if we went with Kris. His photojournalistic/documentary style matched well with our DIY crafty wedding. He was also great at making sure we had the formal group shots we wanted and came prepared with a flash/lighting setup. Also, Kris’s package pricing comes at an incredible value for how hard he works.

Kris was really the perfect person to be around on our wedding day. My husband and I are not used to having someone with all eyes (or, lenses) on us for many hours. Kris made us feel comfortable and allowed us to focus on each other while he snapped great shots. He seemed to be everywhere at once while being completely unobtrusive--hard to do! He arrived early to check out some great spots for our first look and continued to have great ideas for shots throughout the evening. He worked seamlessly with everyone at the wedding, and I can't count the number of people who have told me how great his work is. I wholeheartedly and enthusiastically recommend Kris--SERIOUSLY, you should have him shoot your wedding! Or anything else, really. He is an absolutely GREAT photographer and a wonderful person.

Kris was great to work with! He made sure he knew exactly what we wanted from our wedding pictures before the day of wedding. He was very polite and professional. His photographs lived up to his photo journalistic style. We got a great variety of pictures and most of our favorite ones are pictures we weren't posing for. After looking at many photographers in the area, Kris had the best quality for the best price. He also includes an album as part of his package which I found many photographers do not do anymore! If you work with Kris you won't be sorry!

Kris was by far the best investment we made in our entire wedding. Everyone I talked to said to go big on the photographer, because at the end of the day, the pictures (and the marriage - duh!) are what lasts. I did a LOT of research, and really loved the way Kris captured emotions so beautifully in his pictures. Every interaction we had with him was outstanding. When we met with other vendors, they immediately started telling us about their services and how they operate. When we met with Kris, he just asked us to tell him about ourselves. He wanted to get a feel for us and what we would be like and therefore want from our pictures. He had such a great personality and was so easy to be around. The day of the wedding, he was completely unobtrusive. In the end, the pictures from our wedding were stunning. Everyone raved about them. The pictures were even featured in a magazine, which was very exciting. I cannot say enough good things about this photographer. He will not disappoint.

Kris Holland listened to our needs and surpassed them. We enjoyed working with Kris and would hire him over and over again. I believe that every bride and groom would be more than satisfied with his work. I know we are.

I had the pleasure of working with Kris Holland when I got married on August 23, 2008. His unique style of photojournalism and natural ability to capture special moments is what initially interested me in his work. After researching a number of other photographers, I found myself coming back to Kris because his talent far surpasses those others. He has a calmness about him that gave me a sense of ease during a chaotic time, and his dedication was evident when he arrived on my wedding day around ten thirty in the morning and didn’t leave until late that evening. I was incredibly delighted with the outcome and had countless quality photos to choose from. Kris has an honest, genuine spirit and takes pride in his photography. He is flexible, extremely creative and passionate about his work. Without a doubt, I would recommend Kris Holland to any bride.

Kris was AMAZING. My only 4.5/5.0 is on value because we paid over $2000, which was more than we'd originally intended to spend when we were looking for other photographers, but after seeing his work and our wedding photos it was well worth it! I contacted Kris to ask him about making a custom package based on our location and what we wanted, and he was very flexible about keeping the cost down by taking out "extras" that we didn't need, and was able to work with us to get exactly what we wanted. My photos from our Kirkwood wedding have received a lot of comments about "those are the most beautiful wedding photos I've ever seen!" and I credit that entirely to Kris, not to our wedding being more amazing than others (though it was fun!). Kris was great to work with--very personable, friendly, professional, and relaxed. He had some specific ideas about lighting that he wanted to get, etc., and was very happy to direct us as much as we asked him to but also to let us do whatever we wanted for as many photos as we wanted. We couldn't be happier. :) The quality of our photos is fabulous, and Kris was truly a pleasure to work with--very prompt with communication and very open about everything in the contract, etc. We highly recommend him!

Kris Holland is a pretty amazing photographer, his prices were decent and his pictures were breath taking. I love it how he captured the art of the picture and made to where everytime i look at the pics i am completely in a loss of words. I was very impressed!
