Kristen Foster Hair Artistry

I was very pleased with the work Kristen and her assistant Felicia did for my wedding day. They worked great together making sure my whole bridal party looked stunning! I have been in weddings in the past that I did not like the outcome of my hair or other bridesmaids and I LOVED everyone's hair for my wedding. Kristen and Felicia were fun the hang out with the day of and Kristen also did a great job keeping me calm when everyone was asking me a bunch of questions. I could tell that Kristen holds a lot of pride in the work that she does and she wanted me to look perfect!!! I would highly recommend Kristen Foster Hair.

Kristen is a wonderful hair and make-up artist. I enjoyed my hair and makeup trial run and was excited to have Kristen be a part of my special day because if her sweet and down-to-earth personality. On the wedding day, Kristen and her assistant came to my parent's home and did an amazing job doing my hair/make-up along with 4 of my bridesmaids and my mother. Hair and make-up services are expensive in general, but thought that Kristen's rates were reasonably priced and well worth it!

Kristen was an absolute pleasure to work with. I'm always nervous when it comes to getting my hair done because it has a mind of it's own, but during my trial with Kristen she was very attentive and listened to what I wanted my hair to look like for my big day. I had planned on changing my hair style for the reception but I was so pleased with my hair during the trial I changed my mind. On the day of the wedding she and another stylist was there on time (even though some of my bridesmaids weren't) and still got everyones hair done in time for pictures. All the girls looked so great and all of us were getting compliments left and right on how great our hair looked. I would definitely recommend Kristen if you are looking to get your hair done.

Kristen and her assistant were angels! They had us all finished on time and looking so elegant. Kristen was so much fun to spend time with! She is such a hard working individual and really knows what she is doing. We kept calling her a hair magician! I will refer everyone I know to them because our hair and makeup were flawless!

I knew the moment my hair and make-up trials were over I had to have Kristen on my wedding day. Not only did I look beautiful, I felt beautiful. I had so many guests come up to me and say how much they loved my hair and make-up. Kristen and her assistant, Felicia, arrived early the morning of my wedding and stayed until every bridesmaid, mom and flower girl looked flawless. I didn't know how I wanted my bridesmaids to look but Kristen used the few ideas I did have and made my girls look amazing. I'm so pleased with how everyone looks in our wedding photos.

Amazing!! Kristen has such talent, and I was so pleased with how my hair, as well as how my bridesmaids and mother's hair looked on my wedding day. Kristen was very patient in working with me and picky members of my wedding party in getting our hair to be exactly as envisioned, and it was. Everyone in my bridal party had different hair types and Kristen knew exactly what to do with each type to make it look great. Kristen arrived right on time and worked very effiently with her assistant to get everyone's hair done within our schedule. Kristen is my normal hair stylist, and I would definitely recommend anyone to her for bridal or everyday hair needs!

Kristen and her team did a phenomenal job on my wedding day. My bridal party had their hair and makeup done...it was beautiful and the girls loved their hair had makeup. Kristen even had to work with a flower girl who didn't want her hair done...she was able to do the Flower Girl's hair (and add some sparkle) without any problems.
My friends and family commented how beautiful my hair and makeup was that day...and it lasted long into the evening.

Kristen was really nice. But after my hair and make-up trial, I decided not to use her for make-up. I thought I looked good, just not myself. I was uncomfortable with how much make-up she put on me (b/c I don't typically wear any). But kristen and her assistant did my hair and the hair of all 9 of my bridesmaids . Everyone's hair looked great and she was pretty inexpensive. I would recommend her for sure!

Kristen was not available to do the hair styling for my wedding so she contacted another stylist to do the job. Overall, I was very pleased. Communication was good and the stylist was professional and easy to work with (and sweet to boot!). The stylist was on time the day of the wedding and everyone's hair looked beautiful. My only issue was that the stylist was a tad bit late on finishing (which I take some responsibility for because I was a few minutes late on arrival). I was, however, very impressed when she finished my mother's updo in 15 minutes and it looked stunning!

I had Avese do my hair and makeup, and also the hair for 6 of my bridesmaids. She did wonderful. My only complaint is that there was a lot of confusion, mostly because of the management, about how many bridesmaids there were, how much to pay, etc. The minus points I gave are because of my not-so-great experience with the lady that runs the business. The reason I went with them was because I waited too long to find a makeup and hair company, and they had a good price out of the few people that were still available.

I had an excellent experience working with Kristen! She was prompt in response to all my emails and questions. She was beyond friendly and accommodating to my wants and needs. The day of my Wedding, my hair and make-up for myself and my bridal party exceeded my expectations and my girls were all so happy. I would 100% recommend Kristen!

Kristen and her team were amazing! It was hard to find someone that was amazing for hair and make up and she was it! She is reasonable and is worth every penny!

Kristen earned another 5 star rating! She and her assistant did a very professional and wonderful job for my daughter's wedding on July 28, 2012. Kristen was great to have in the bridal suite with the girls (and the commotion of the morning) because her professionalism and experience helped keep everyone on schedule. She and her assistant worked seamlessly through the girls, the flower girl and then even had the time to fit me and one other in - all at a very reasonable cost. Her tips ahead of time for my daughter (at the trial) wound up really allowing for my daughter to have the hairstyle she dreamed of for her wedding day. We received many, many compliments on all of the hairstyles throughout the day! Kristen is awesome - look at her reviews!!! Thank you again - a very terrific job!

Kristen was fabulous! I started with a trial about 6 weeks or so before the wedding. I loved my hair from the trial, but was not sure about the makeup. I sent Kristen my feedback and she was ready on the day of to make the adjustments I requested. She even worked with me to make sure that my skin was not shiny-since this is something that drives me crazy AND she used makeup to hide red bumpy skin on my upper arms, which was a great bonus! On the wedding day she came with plenty of time to spare. She did all 3 of my bridesmaids' hair, my mom's hair and also mine, plus makeup for me and one bridesmaid. I LOVED the result. I cannot tell you how many compliments we all got on our hair and my make-up. I would highly recommend Kristen and am so glad that she was available for my wedding day!

Kristen Foster was my hair and makeup artist for my June wedding. She also did my mother-in-law, and two bride's maids hair. I was so thrilled with my makeup and hair! I needed some help, I don't wear makeup and my idea of a hair style is a ponytail. Kristen was able to give me a great half up-do that lasted through a night of outdoor dancing. I had men and women guests commenting on how great it looked! The makeup looked great in photos, but wasn't "too much" for a summer casual wedding. My mother-in-law and bride's maids looked great into the night also!

Kristen did a great job with my hair and all of my bridesmaids. She was on time kept the flow going throughout the day. Everyone looked amazing!

I wish I could post photos of my hair! Kristen not only gave me the greatest hair style I've ever had in my life, but she made it last all night, over 8 hours of wedding prep + events, and not a single hair was out of place. My bridesmaids all loved their hair as well, and Kristen was a lot of fun to hang out with while she was doing everything. She's incredibly affordable and was very accommodating.

I definitely recommend doing the hair trial. Not because of Kristen, who is one of the most competent people I've met, but after seeing how wonderful my hair looked, it eased a lot of the pre-wedding stress and gave me a lot more confidence that all the wedding pieces were finally coming together. She also had some great advice on how to add some body to my hair and how to prep it for the big day.

I definitely recommend her to anyone who is looking for a fantastic and affordable hair stylist.

My decision to have a makeup artist was very last minute. I was the only one having my hair done and its hard to find someone who was willing to do one person and who wasn't super expensive. And I figured I would have her do my makeup too because it was a special day and I figured, why not?

I went for a trial run and she made me look awesome. She even gave me advice to help my skin and I followed it. And it really did help keep my skin nice and clear. When I went back to work to pick up my hubby, my boss saw me and told me that I should definitely go with her cause she did an awesome job. Plus she was just fun to converse with and be around.

The day of she showed up and made me look like a beautiful bride. My makeup and hair lasted through the night! She even stayed until I put on my dress to fix my hair since the dress had to go over my head. My bridesmaids and mom even had a good time talking with her as she got me ready.

Kristen was super awesome and I was super lucky that she had my date open. She will definitely make you look super...

Kristen did my hair and the hair of my three bridesmaids, flower girl, mom, and mother - in - law. She is phenomenal! She worked with me to figure out what I wanted and was so easy to get along with. She's very talented and working with her was a joy!

I am so happy that I hired Kristen Foster for my wedding. She did hair styles for me and my four bridesmaids. She was easy to work with and flexible when it came to doing the trial. On the day of the wedding she was exceptional! She came right on time, worked quickly, and helped us stay on track for the morning. My friends all had very different hair types, but everyone's hair looked stunning and stayed all night! She was professional, but at the same time, great to be around as we were getting ready. I was so happy with how my hair looked, and it looked just as good when I got home after the wedding. That to me is impressive!

Kristen was amazing and you MUST use her! She was great to work with and you absolutely can't beat her prices. I can honestly say that I have never looked or felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day. My hair and make-up were perfect and Kristen was so fun to work with. She and her partner Felicia managed their way through hair and make-up for me, my four bridesmaids, my two flower girls, my mom and my husband's mom in about 5 hours! Not only were they quick, but everyone looked beautiful. Kristen was so understanding and really aimed to please, she worked on me until my every hair on my head was perfect and may face was flawless. She also double and triple checked with me to make sure I was happy with my style and makeup. I can't believe the number of comments I got from my guests and more importantly my husband, on how beautiful I looked. THANK YOU KRISTEN!

I booked Kristen for my bridal hair and makeup, and she does amazing work. I wanted to do my hair in a side ponytail with curls, and a flower, but she took it up a notch and made it more glam with some twists in the back (which we agreed on in my trial). She also did hair for seven of my bridesmaids, my mom and mother-in-law, and my husband's grandmother.

My only word of caution is that, if you have a large bridal party, either give a lot of time for everyone to get their hair and makeup done, or look elsewhere. Kristen and her two assistants worked very quickly (and did a great job) with getting everyone's hair and makeup done, but I felt that we were very rushed near the end.

To be honest, this is probably my fault more than Kristen's, because she had recommended that we start earlier (7:30 a.m. for a 4 p.m. ceremony) but I asked if we could start at 8:30 instead. Also, not everyone in my bridal party was around when Kristen's assistants could have been curling their hair or doing their makeup I probably should have listened to Kristen about the start time, because she and her assistants were having to really rush near the end.

Overall Kristen is talented, organized, and great to work with, and I have already recommended her to other friends who are getting married.

Kristen and her team made my bridal party and I look awesome on my wedding day. They completed hair and makeup for 7 bridesmaids, myself, a grandma, and two mothers all in about 6 hours! She created styles for each and everyone of us that fit our personalities. She made everything look great from the shortest hair to the longest. Everyone who brought a picture was amazed how close their hair looked to the picture they had brought her to mimic. Additionally, Kristen has a wonderful personality and goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is happy with their look. She also did a fabulous job at my hair trial/bridal shoot. I would highly recommend her to any bride in the area. Thank you Kristen and team :-)

I was so happy that I choose Kristen to be the hairstylist for my wedding! Kristen has a great attitude and was ready to tackle all 13 people! She not only did her job wonderfully but she also brightened the room!

Kristen was really fun and great to work with. The hair trial couldn't have gone any better! I showed her photos of what I wanted, and of other failed trials and she gave me EXACTLY what I was looking for but couldn't describe. I felt like the cost was such a great value for how beautiful my hair looked.

Wedding day was an equally great experience. She has a very lovely, bubbly personality and moved quickly, getting all 5 styles done on time. All hairdo's were really beautiful and unique, tailored to what each of my bridesmaids wanted, but with the same romantic style. My mom is very hard to please, and she really liked her hair... that just shows how great Kristen is!

There were only two small "bummers" about my hair on wedding day. 1) that I forgot to bring the photos of my trial hair, so it's not exactly what I expected, and 2) my barrettes moved when I put on my wedding dress. If I could do it again, I would've obviously brought the trial pictures, and then asked her to stay to correct my hair barrettes. Nobody else noticed that they were wrong, so I only found out when I saw photos. However, I had a veil on in the wedding pictures so it's not like the moved barrette ruined anything, or was really her fault beyond that they could've been a little bit more secure.

But to be honest, these are such small things that I am still extremely happy with my wedding day hair and with choosing Kristen as my hair stylist. I don't think you will find a better value for your wedding day hair!

All I have to say is Kristen is AMAZING!! She is the only person I trust with my hair period. Not only was my hair awesome, but the make-up job she did was perfect!! I even had a bridesmaid who showed up the day of my wedding with a black eye. After Kristen was done with her make-up you couldn't even tell it was there, and the make up looked so natural! You will be getting your money's worth if you hire Kristen!!!

I am a fellow hairstylist in the wedding business I was looking for someone with my similar style. When I got engaged I wanted to find someone who I could trust to do my hair as well as being very OCD as I am when it came to making the end result perfect. Kristen did an amazing job listening to what I was going for as well as fixing a few things from the trial to the wedding day. All of my bridesmaids were very happy with their hair and everyone looked beautiful! I couldn't have been more happy with my wedding hair, it was flattering to my face shape and was exactly what I was going for. Thanks so much Kristen!

Kristen was great! She worked very efficiently and got through all 6 of us in roughly 3 hours at our hotel - despite a migraine! My hair was beautiful and it stayed that way all night - and was never uncomfortable. Best of all though, she works with you until it's right. My mom was a little uncomfortable with the way her hair looked at first. Kristen didn't take it personally, she just made a few adjustments and within 5 minutes it had been fixed. Very professional, very sweet, and very talented. I'd hire her again without hesitation.

Kristen provided the hair and makeup services for my daughters wedding on October 9, 2010 and everyone looked simply amazing. She easily handled a very large wedding party and the girls commented numerous times that she made getting ready fun and easy. She was excellent about having my daughter try different hairstyles before the swedding to ensure that she had exactly the best style to compliment her face and veil. Kristen does fantastic hair for an incredibly reasonable price. Plus, she has the patience of a saint and will work with you to find the style that suits you best. It was easy to coordinate trials with her. Kristen is a pleasure to work with, always very positive.

Kristen was fantastic. When I had a disaster that resulted in my needing to find a new stylist less than a month before my wedding she was the one I chose. She responded to every email within hours, answered every question I had and even made time to schedule a trial within the limited time we had. She was upbeat and fun to work with and everyone, including my mother and all of my bridesmaids looked incredible on my wedding day. I am so glad that my original plans didn't work out and that I worked with her. There's no one else that I spoke to, or have ever heard of that even comes close.

Kristin did a great job for my wedding. She knew how to work with my thin hair to create an updo that looked like a thick bun, and she did a great job with all my bridesmaids - some of whom had some very difficult hair! She arrived on time and was honest with everyone about what would and wouldn't work with her hair. She was also very flexible in arranging my hair trial - my first hair stylist fell through at the last minute, but Kristin worked with me until we found a time that would work for the trial. I'd highly recommend her services!

Kristen did an excellent job with my hair and makeup, as well as my five bridesmaids hair. She came on time and was able to do everyones hair the way they wanted, and, when my junior bridesmaid didn't know how she wanted her hair, Kristen created an updo herself and made her look gorgeous.

I heard about Kristen through my MUA Lori Nansi. Our trial was great--I came unprepared without any accessories and only a vague idea of what I wanted my hair to look like on my wedding day. Kristen worked with me and my long and very thick hair and came up with something beautiful and sturdy.

On the day of the wedding, she came to my house super early and did the hair for me and all of my BMs. We all chose different styles and Kristen ran with it. They all looked great and we got compliments all day on our hair. My hair style lasted through wardrobe changes and the headdresses for the Korean ceremony. It held up perfectly even several hours after the reception ended!

Kristen timed everything perfectly, was priced perfectly, and was very accomodating to my requests. She really enjoys what she does and is also super cute and fun so please give her a call. =)

Kristen did an amazing job on my hair for my wedding, and she also made my bridal party and the mothers and my grandmother look stunning! She was extremely flexible when it came to scheduling a trial...even opened the salon that she works from on a day that it was closed just to accommodate me!
