My husband and I knew we didn't want to spend a ton on our Aug. 2010 wedding, however, we wanted amazing photos to commemorate our big day. Kristen was very professional and had great ideas for fun creative photos. She was very flexible with meetings and feedback. Everyone who we show our photos to loves them and always asks who did them. My husband and I highly recommend Kristen, she is not only a great person but an amazing photographer.

Kristen is a great photographer. My husband and I couldn't have asked for a better person to work with to create wonderful memories through our pictures. Kristen is a very professional, on time, respectable person who values her work and has a reasonable price. I have been recommending her to everyone I know. Not only does Kristen take great wedding photos but also great photos for children, engagement and senior portraits. I hope to work with Kristen again real soon!

has been a passion of mine since the age
of 16 when I bought my first 35mm camera. I studied photography in college and have also assisted for numerous photographers over the years. I love to photograph anything and everything and am always looking for a new challenge.
I enjoy seeing the world through the eye of a lens.

Do you have liability insurance?
No
Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?
Generally only by special request.
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
Absolutely! Not only have I shot in virtually every lighting situation, am equipped to handle every situation, I also teach the technique to others in the industry.
Is your media preference film or digital?
Digital only for weddings.
How many photographers do you work with?
I have a staff of assistants. I usually have one, sometimes two along with me at each wedding.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
I guarantee that I will be there unless there is an unforeseen, unavoidable act of God. In this case, I have a list of photographers whom I'd like to consider at my level of talent who I'd call to fill my spot that day.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
Never in the same day, rarely more than one on a weekend. This girl needs to recover!
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
I guarantee that I will be there unless there is an unforeseen, unavoidable act of God. In this case, I have a list of photographers whom I'd like to consider at my level of talent who I'd call to fill my spot that day.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
Multiple cameras, lenses, flashes, studio lights if needed, reflectors, ladder, stands, backup for the backup.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Always! You never know what might happen!
Do you charge hourly or full day?
Full day. I don't want you to have to decide what hours are going to be most important to you on your wedding day.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
I require that the client include me in on dinner. By now, come on, we are all friends. I know your family and 8th cousin 2nd time removed. I like to sit down and talk to people for that short time. I've been working for probably 8 hours already on maybe some water because I'm terrible at doing that to myself. If that isn't going to work for you, we'll need to figure something out that will so I don't pass out! :-)
Do you charge for travel?
Only if it is more than a few hours away from where I live or if it will require me to stay overnight.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
Depends on the package chosen. Because I take full care into examining every single image, I generally quote up to 4 weeks.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
Proofbook unless a CD is purchased or a package that included the CD has been picked.
How long can the client keep the proofs?
They are yours to keep!
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
Absolutely! They are my blood, sweat, and tears. Yeah I do tear up at weddings. Love them that much.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
I do. And I have had work published. However, my clients have always been honored and I would inform you of this. They have also had my work published which is also fantastic! You just have to get my permission first, which you will.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
If purchased.
Will images be available for viewing online?
Yes, that is now an option.
What kind of albums do you offer?
Flush mount.
When will the client get the final album?
Depending on which album they choose and how quickly they approve it... 6 weeks-3 months due to shipping time.
