My husband and I liked to joke that we wanted the dream team for our wedding! Kristen was definitely a BIG part of that dream! From our very first meeting at the local Starbucks to the cutting of the cake, Kristen was a pleasure to work with. She has a fabulous sense of style and a love of fashion that really comes through in her photography. Unlike anyone else I worked with throughout the planning process, Kristen was interested in every detail of our wedding. She asked lots of helpful questions and her suggestions about scheduling, etc. were invaluable. The end result was amazing pictures and an even more amazing (and stress free) wedding day! We would recommend her to any bride and groom in search of a photographer that appreciates the details and knows how to capture all the special moments! She certainly captured all of ours!

Wedding planning is stressful and making decisions isn't my strong point but one thing was easy, picking Kristen as our photographer. I knew from her first email that she was different from other photographers. After my initial email she sent back a long personalized email asking questions all about Jesse and I. The fact that she took the time to write us an email and not send a generic template meant a lot. We scheduled a meeting to go over her different packages and to have a chance to get to know each other. We were sold; we knew Kristen was the perfect photographer for us. My husband and I had searched online for weeks to find the perfect photographer. I am extremely picky when it comes to photo quality and what I like. I wanted someone who would capture the moments and not just posed pictures and I saw that in her work. Kristen is not only an amazing photographer but an amazing person. She made us feel so comfortable, like we had been friends for years. I sent a ton of emails back and forth and Kristen always responded in a quick and timely manner. We had bad weather the day of our engagement shoot but she was great about rescheduling it with us, especially with our crazy schedule since my husband lived out of state. We had a great time getting to know Kristen during our engagement shoot she made us feel really comfortable. The wedding was sheer perfection! Everything turned out perfect! Kristen took some amazing shots of our wedding details. We can't wait to see the rest of the pictures. She made our entire wedding party comfortable as well which is extremely apparent from their pictures! They had a blast taking pictures with her. Kristen has a way of making people feel comfortable and at ease. I can recall several times during our ceremony that I looked over at her with nervousness (so many eyes on my husband and I) and instantly felt calmed. Kristen and her team were great about blending into the party as well. I've been to other weddings where the photographers/videographers tend to get in the way of the party. I absolutely have faith that Kristen and her team captured all the great moments, and there were many! The sneak peek pictures were incredible we can't wait to see the rest of the photos! Kristen adds small touches along the whole wedding planning process that makes each couple feel special, you'll just have to book her to see! :)

Choosing Kristen as my photographer was the second best wedding related decision I made (marrying the husband being the first!). Before, during and after the wedding she was nothing short of stellar. She was able to get everything she needed while recognizing that brides are a little stressed and scatterbrained, and was totally accommodating and respectful. Both Kristen and her second photographer, Alyssa, made me feel like they were really excited to be at our wedding and photographing it; I never got the feeling that this was just another job for them. She was hilarious and a blast to have around and made everyone feel at ease. Even though I felt like the day flew by, I never worried that something wasn't captured - I trusted her to record everything, and that she did. When she shared early "teasers" and our blog, I couldn't have been more pleased. She captured everything, and her photographs are an unbelievable recount of the entire day. The emotions and moments she captured are incredible. Everyone who has seen our pictures has said they are the best they have seen. She is nothing short of incredible and you will not be disappointed with her services.

Not only did she provide the most beautiful photos I could have imagined, but she was the most pleasant person to work with. She kept everything going and everyone in good spirits. I was able to relax and enjoy the day knowing that she was getting all the shots I wanted. She was also such a help, offering to get drinks for the groom and I, helping position my veil and all the little things that allowed me to sit back and enjoy the day. I would most definitely recommend her to any bride! And I can't wait till the next event in my life that I'll need a photographer for, you better believe I'll be calling her!

This review is about Kristen Weaver the person-I will also talk a bit about her photography.I found Kristen on Facebook via my fiance' (Now husband). I was able to book her for our engagement session when she was already on travel to Los Angeles. After our E-session I just knew I had to have her for our “destination” wedding inVegas. We worked out all the details and even approaching the day of travel Kristen was still in contact with me.Our 1st night in Vegas we meet for a "planning meeting"- we talked all night like we were old friends from college. We talked about everything... we looked up at 1am and realized we were the only people left in the restaurant. She made my husband and I feel so comfortable. Kristen invited us to breakfast the next morning at "Wicked Spoon"- unfortunately we were unable to make it (You owe US!)The whole time Kristen and I were together it felt like we’ve known each other for years on end. She was with me up until I got in my car at Valet to go to the venue. Kristen stepped out of the role as a photographer and became a friend – for that I am ever grateful! NOW- the meat and potatoes!!! SHE is a WONDERFUL photographer… EVERYTHING she touches turns to gold without a doubt. My husband and I are not photogenic people but you feel some comfortable with Kristen that it just “HAPPENS”.Kristen got all the “details” about the wedding venue and about things I wanted to see as far as photography and she was fabulous! Anyone who comes across her website or Facebook page will fall in love with her work. We are planning a 1-year anniversary party and guess who will be present??? KRISTEN WEAVER of course!!!!

Kristen and her team are AMAZING!! Not only did I get the most beautiful wedding pictures, but they truly helped with so many things that aren't typically "photographer stuff". Everything from helping me position my veil in my hair to calming down my Mom when she started freaking out. She was absolutely right that the family photos were the most stressful 15 minutes of the day and was able to get us through quickly and mostly painlessly. Kristen was professional, her photos are wonderful (and we're not photogenic), and helped everything to run sooooo smoothly. I can't thank her enough and would definitely use her again for pictures.

Have you seen my pictures? They're gorgeous (and there are over 1,100 of them)! And I'm pretty sure Kristen never sleeps because she's working her magic morning, noon, and night! I can't tell you how many times she's immediately replied to emails I send at midnight or later. She is definitely the most responsive vendor I have ever worked with. She was fun to work with during our engagement session and wedding day. There is no question who I will be contacting for my future photography needs.

Kristen Weaver is a god among men (or any gender for that matter) when it comes to photography.Seriously. It's true. Her photos are stunning (which anyone who has one functioning eye can see) but more than that is her amazing personality and artistic style. She's incredible. From the first time I spoke with her I felt comfortable with her abilities as well as her vision for our wedding. She never once made anything difficult and, at times, helped me with other aspects of my wedding planning without even trying! Her staff is fantastic as well - always on-time and focused while still remembering to have a good time. The best part about working with Kristen is that you always smile - she just brings it out of you! Whether your stressed about the caterers or worrying about the seating arrangements she is always ready with a joke, witty remark or kind word that turns everything around.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Kristen! The quality of her work is just amazing and her personality makes every moment that much better! Everyone who attended our wedding absolutely loved Kristen. I felt so comfortable having her around, like she was an old friend. I can't wait to see all of our wedding pictures but from what I've seen already and from our BEAUTIFUL engagement pictures, I would recommend everyone I know to give Kristen a try!

Our experience with Kristen was absolutely amazing. She takes so much pride in her work and will make your wedding day even more of a dream come true. Kristen was there for us every step of the way from an engagement session like no other, to planning and scheduling the events of our big day and to giving us these memories to look back on for the rest of our lives. I don't even know where to begin when speaking of Kristen and her team. My wedding was a "destination" wedding for me, my husband and most of our family and friends. We chose to have it so far away to keep it intimate, with only our closest friends and family in attendance. Almost all of my wedding planning and research was done online. I would spend hours and days online obsessing over one detail or another. My biggest and longest obsession was the photography. I felt like the pictures taken and memories created would truly be the only thing I could actually take back from our day and I was willing to make an investment to ensure we had beautiful images that would last a lifetime. I looked at hundreds of photography blogs, websites, reviews and nothing seemed to click. And then I found Kristen here on wedding wire. What stuck me the most about her reviews was how EVERYONE felt like they had hired a friend, or a wedding planner or as I like to call her, "The Bride Whisperer" :)I looked at her website and blog and I was blown over by the beauty and emotion she seemed to capture in every picture. I literally had to have her!! Her first email struck me on so many levels because I told her I was on a pretty tight budget and her response blew me away..."I can definitely put your mind at ease on the photography - but I absolutely understand having a budget to stay within. We can start with a reasonable collection that will give you the coverage hours you're looking for, and if you're able to - closer to the event - we can always add things you may want. It doesn't take 10 hours for me to take gorgeous photos of you and Casey, your beautiful event and everything that you'll want to remember! I've heard time and time again - a good photographer can make a modest event look like one of the most fantastic events ever, while a poor photographer can make a million dollar wedding look like a budget event." I never felt any pressure to book the grandest package. As a matter of fact, when I was booking there were 2 other brides also interested in my day. She assured me that clients were booked on a first come first serve basis not on who could afford the biggest package. Long story even longer...Kristen immediately responded to all my emails and calls right away. Booking and making payments was super easy. After a few phone calls and meeting her for the first time in my underwear, (I also booked a boudoir shoot as a wedding gift to my husband) she was the only thing, other than the man, that I had no stress about on my wedding day.She and her team are professional, kind, gracious, talented and super fun. You don't realize that other than your new spouse most of your day will be spent with your photagrapher, and I couldn't be happier that it was Kristen, Reema, and Alyssa! Kristen had a way of organizing everyone and getting everything together with complete grace and poise. While she seemed to be everywhere with everything I could have ever possibly needed, she was also completely invisible when it was appropriate. My family and friends loved her! I just recently saw a blog post of some of our pictures and they literally took my breath away! Each picture brings me back to that exact moment and I can feel every emotion I was feeling that instant! She is incredible!! My wedding day was truly the best day of my life so far and I'm over the moon that I had Kristen Weaver Photography there to capture every memory for me!!

There are so many wonderful things to say about my experience with Kristin. First and foremost, chemistry between photographer and bride (groom) is so vital because that energy will carry throughout the planning phases until the end of the reception. As a bride you're having to deal with multiple parties (groom, inlaws, family, bridal party, friends, guests) that you really want a vendor who is going to be on your wavelength. If anyone has esp, it's Kristin. Having planned and executed an engagement party and fairly elaborate wedding reception, I have to say there are so many vendors in the industry who won't go the extra mile. They are complacent in their job efforts or don't have the creativity or vision to make your wedding day special, Kristin is the exception. From the moment you make contact your experience will be warm and inviting, without being sentimental or high-maintenance. She is there to make your experience more enjoyable and doesn't forget who the client is in the relationship. Kristin conducted one engagement session for us in San Francisco (the other local), and it was not just fun, but memorable both as an experience and for the quality of output. The photos were great and we ordered a few canvas enlarged photos of them because they came out so nicely. She was just as professional and accessible at the wedding. I absolutely recommend her as she will only enhance the experience. And what a crazy one it is! The more enhancement the better, sisters!!

From the moment my fiancé and I met Kristen Weaver, we knew that she would be our photographer. Not only is she incredibly talented, but she is also very organized and professional. As a professional, her communication is excellent. She gets back with you immediately, and you never have to wait long for a response or wonder if your photographer is missing in action. We received her invoice very quickly. Kristen definitely has the business skills that are essential to any good vendor.We paid what was on our initial invoice, no more. We were delivered all of the pictures from the engagement session within a few weeks. Very nice to work with, and very willing to do what it takes to make the clients happy. Kristen's services are impeccable. We scheduled an engagement session as well as booking her for our wedding. During the engagement session, she made us feel very comfortably and relaxed. We picked the location, but Kristen has a great eye and was able to work with us. She’s very good at directing you (if you prefer this), but she is also very good at letting you do your own thing and capturing those special moments that aren’t staged. Our wedding was very small and intimate. Even so, Kristen took on some roles of a wedding coordinator to ensure that things ran smoothly. She helped us time things so that my fiancé and I didn’t see each other before I walked down the aisle. She helped keep the crowd focused for pictures. All of this while remaining completely un-intrusive. She was completely amazing, and we have been so happy with the pictures we’ve gotten back. You cannot get any better than this. We highly recommend Kristen for any event or moment you want captured.

Kristen has been a friend of mine since college and I have had the pleasure to watch her blossom as a professional photographer. Her drive and passion have been there since the beginning, but her talent has grown exponentially. Her eye for capturing special moments is impeccable and I was thrilled that she was available to shoot my wedding. She was there from the beginning of my relationship with my (now) husband and it meant so much to have friends and family involved in every aspect of our special day. Kristen and her colleagues were very professional, on time, and prompt with responses. She made us and our guests feel very comfortable while still being professional. The pictures of our wedding that she and her assistant took will forever capture the moments and emotions of that day. I knew I'd love Kristen before I even met her simply because she loved Chick-fil-A sweet tea! I had seen her work and loved her style! I e-mailed Kristen asking for information and telling her I wanted to meet. She was out of state shooting a wedding and responded to my e-mails within 24 hours, if not sooner! I was so impressed with that and that made me love her even more!I met with Kristen a few months before my wedding. I was having issues with the photographer we hired and I was concerned that she would not meet our expectations. I told Kristen my concerns and she was happy to meet with me. She came fully prepared with albums and magazines! She was such a sweetheart and was willing to help in every way possible. I wanted to have her as our wedding photographer but our current photographer had half our deposit. My husband and I tried to figure out a way to be able to use Kristen but it just wasn't possible. She even lowered her price for us in hopes that we could make it work. I kept in touch with Kristen leading up the wedding and of course followed her blog obsessively. What I loved most was that every blog she did she always had something amazing to say about the couples she worked with. I was still very concerned and worried about the photographer we hired. I told Kristen that financially we just weren't able to book her. She offered to come to the wedding as a guest as back up just in case something happened to our current one. I could not believe it! That was the sweetest thing ever and I was so happy and grateful. The one thing I was worried about the whole time was the photographer and now that was something I did not have to worry about. That’s an amazing person right there. I can say that Kristen is a wonderful, amazing person and talented photographer. She takes amazing pictures and has such a wonderful personality. She responds to e-mails quickly and to the days leading up to our wedding kept me at ease with everything. I am happy to say that I will finally get my wish and will be shooting with her in March!

I really can not say enough about Kristen Weaver. My wedding was in Montego Bay, Jamaica on October 16, 2010. I had a budget for everything, but as a photographer myself... I had pretty high standards and no budget for photography. After all, when the wedding is over, all you're left with are the photos. :) Kristen made fast friends with my entire family, all 30 of us. She made everyone so comfortable and relaxed and she was able to get so many great shots. She worked so hard and gave me the photos that I was dreaming of. I can't thank her enough for it, seriously. She covered my rehearsal dinner, my ceremony & reception and a day after / trash the dress session. Each photo captured exactly who we are, she really made our personalities shine through the photos. These images are something that i'll treasure for a lifetime.

Kristen is sooo much more than just a wedding photographer. She is such an amazingly talented artist. She finds the beauty in even the smallest of details. She is always a professional but is so friendly and charismatic that it makes being in front of the camera so easy. My now husband is not the most comfortable in front of the camera but she was able to bring out the silly and the serious in him and got some amazing shots of us and I couldn't be happier with all of our photographs. Both Kristen and her assistant Reema are so great. They make you feel so comfortable. She not only shot our engagement session and our wedding but I did a Boudoir session with her as a wedding present to my husband and boy was he shocked!! Kristen has officially become our friend and she will definitely be our photographer for all important events in out lives from here on out!

Incredibly talented photographer! Her work is absolutely stunning, and I wouldn't have wanted anyone else to photograph our wedding. It’s NOT just the photo's that made our session wonderful, although they were flawless; it’s her personality and demeanor during our session. She is an absolute pleasure to work with. On my husband and I one year anniversary, we vacationed at our timeshare in Florida. Before arriving I communicated with Kristen Weaver, the photographer I found online, about my package and purpose. She informed me that it would be the "Day After" session just like a "Trash the Dress" session, minus the "trash" part which included a two location photo shoot, one with our wedding attire on and the other in more relaxed outfits. It also included a disc of editing high-resolution images with the session (the disc has about 50-75 photos), print release included on disc, as well as online proofing gallery of the images.I explained to Kristen what I was looking for in my pictures, I was very nervous and skeptical as a "photographer seeker" for my "retakes" and Kristen simply made my "retake" dreams come true!! The action pictures, candid pictures and portraits were awesome! Her website is completely true and ALL that is encompassed in it!!! Every picture she took of my husband and I was phenomenal!! All I can say is Kristen Weaver is thee best photographer EVER! If I could recommend ANYONE to take photos it would be Kristen, hands down! She made our photo session very comfortable. She worked around our schedule and was extremely patient, accommodating and fun! We were visiting from NY and she provided not only pictures but a small tour of the Disney area during our shoot.

Kristen is an amazing photographer. I truly enjoyed working with her. From the initial phone call, she was polite, sweet and informative. She was always easy to reach, which made me feel so comfortable. I do photography as a hobby, so I was really nervous about finding the right photographer. I was so pleased with her down to earth demeanor and her professional service. The day of the wedding she had an awesome team, never obtrusive but there at the right moment to capture the memories. I was so excited to come back from the honeymoon and see the pictures. They were delivered on time and they looked AMAZING!!! She continued to be supportive and helpful. I could go on and on about how wonderful it was to work with this photograher, but hopefully you'll experience her incredible talent and excellent customer service for yourself.

Working with Kristen was just wonderful. When I started looking for a photographer I was looking for someone that would provide me a product that was unique and modern but still capture all the important moments and details. My photos came out beyond my expectations. Everyone who sees them are amazed at the quality and at how different and "non-traditional" they are, and that was exactly what I was looking for. At the same time they are beautiful and capture who we really are a couple. Kristens creativity shows in every aspect of her business and she looks for any excuse to use it! In every situation she was professional and was able to pull through for me with any needs that I had, and in many situations she went above and beyond. I would reccommend her to anyone, especially if you want someone who is easy to work with and who does amazing work.
