Having Kristen document our wedding was one of the best decisions we made. Kristen has a sweet easy going personality that puts you instantly at ease. She captured every moment and every detail is such an artistic and beautiful way. Her photos are effortless and elegant!

I absolutely made the best choice to go with Kristin Grinnell Photography for my wedding! I went with her associate package because I had a smaller wedding and only needed about 3 hours of photography and from the beginning they were responsive to my needs and TOTALLY willing to work with what we wanted and with our budget for our big day! We worked with Shannon Miller and Viana on our wedding day and everyone loved them! They were so fun and we all had a blast taking pictures, it was just so comfortable working with them. Although Kristin wasn't with us on the wedding day taking pictures she was always 100% professional with responding to my many emails and even taking the time to retouch all my images! And we got A LOT of images! They all look like they belong in magazines! Everyone needs to work with Kristin Grinnell for quality photography and that sense of comfort that your images will be SPECTACULAR! I honestly cannot say enough about them, they were a pleasure to work with and recommend them to EVERYONE!

Kristen is very thoughtful, and is very passionate about what she does. Her objective is to give you every photo you've ever dreamed of, and make your wedding a dream come true:)

Kristen was just a delight to have come into our lives. She provided us with beautiful pictures, an amazing engagement session, and a great care for our individuality! Kristen photographed our wedding on March 14, 2009 at Point Dume State Beach in Malibu, CA. The first time I talked to Kristen, I was confident that I had found the best wedding photographer out there. I was planning my wedding from out of state and Kristen offered advice about the wedding site and even gave me ideas for making our wedding location accessible for all of our guests. Whenever we spoke she always told me to feel free to call her if I needed help with anything, and she truly meant it. Kristen fit in with our guests on the day of the wedding and made everyone feel comfortable. It was like we had known her for years. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. We just recently viewed our wedding slide show and the images brought tears to my eyes. She truly captured everyone's personalities and the tone of our wedding. Kristen is a tremendously talented photographer and a delight to work with!

Kristen Grinnell was my favorite vendor in the entire wedding. My husband and I did not want a photographer at the wedding because we we concerned about cost. Wow, thank goodness we came to our senses and found Kristen. What a find! She is very personable, kind, and quick to reply to emails and phone calls. She even helped my mother pick out wedding photos when they went online in the gallery! My husband and I enjoyed Kristen's work so much that she is taking maternity photos for us. She is now our family photographer!

My husband and I could not have been happier with our choice of Kristen as our photographer for our wedding. She was our FAVORITE vendor; her personality was one of the main reasons why we hired her. My husband and I met her and we both felt so comfortable with her, like we had been friends for a long time. She went out of her way to make our photos spectacular, even spending a afternoon with us heading out to wine country for our engagement photos underneath the tree where we were engaged.

Our wedding photos are incredible. After all the horror stories of friends this was an area of major concern. She sent us 1800 images (filtered down from those with closed eyes, out of focus, etc) that we LOVED. We asked her to focus on more candid moments, rather than posed pictures. My favorites are of pictures of my husband and I laughing at eachother, exchanging a look, our families expressions, and one of my brothers mock-strangling me that I love. She captured our day completely, which is something I was amazed she could do; from getting ready to the ceremony, to the wild reception... I feel our photos are as good as a video of our day.

I would highly recommend Kristen to bride. First for her photos (cause that's what you are hiring her for), but mostly for her personality. She makes you smile. She is worth well more than her fee: graduating from Brooks and long experience, but she is newer than the established Santa Barbara photographers... therefore less expensive.

Kristen Grinnell (the photographer) for our wedding was amazing! She not only caught the main wedding events, but all the small details and expressions of unsuspecting guests as well. She has a way of bringing the subject to life. She is very professional and yet personable at the same time. I would recommend her services to everyone.

Oh my gosh, I can not even begin to tell you how much I love these pictures Kristen! I spent a week looking at them, trying to extend the time, getting teary and re-living it. You totally transported me back to the day and it keeps happening when I look at them now. That is exactly what I wanted in my wedding photos. You delivered beyond my wildest expectations.
