Kristin Michelle Photography

My experience with Kristin and Jessie(her asisstant) was so incredible! She was there every step of the way, helped me with things that weren't photography related on the day of, AND I am in love with the photos I've seen thus far! She was so kind and gracious, not just to me and my husband, but also to all of our guests. Kristin was very helpful from the consultation I had with her(I had no idea what I wanted and she guided me through to figure it out) clear to the end of the night on my wedding day. I would HIGHLY recommend her!

I loved working with Kristin Michelle Photography. Both Kristin and her assistants were so friendly and nice. They made me feel like a model during all the sessions I had with them (engagements, bridals, and wedding day). I would recommend her to anyone and will be using her again for any time I need a photographer!

Kristin was very flexible with my budget and other nit picky things I asked her about before the wedding day. There were certainly no problems with that! Her pictures are amazing! (At least the 3 I've seen so far on Facebook.) and she did such a great job the day of the wedding getting everyone organized exactly how I had asked her and she was so patient and wonderful with some of the pushy relatives and mine and Ammon's axiousness to get away and still get pictures. There were definitely no problems there, she was more than great in that area. HOWEVER, I am disappointed with post-wedding communication and professionalism. Kristin finished the pictures in less than 3 weeks! That is amazing! Not a lot of photographers are finished that fast. However, at least a couple weeks went by and the pictures had still not arrived in the mail. I e-mailed her about this and she responded right away, saying she would drive to provo herself and give them to me in person. Which was awesome! We set up a time and we never saw her at the arranged time. After e-mailing her, we decided that we must have just barely missed each other because my husband and I had to go to work. Well. There were a few more of these kinds of arrangements. The kind where she said she would bring them herself and leave them at the doormat if she needed to, and we still didn't have the pictures. Also, no texts or phone calls from her, even though we gave her the right number. After letting her know that we were a little furstrated with this, she sent another one in the mail, this time with a tracking device. Okay, awesome! This time, she can at least know where the pictures are if they got lost in the mail. Another week goes by and we still don't have the pictures. Well it turns out that she had the wrong address and wrong phone number! She let me know about this and I was relieved! Yay we solved the problem! I wasn't too upset, in fact, my husband and I felt really bad for her that this happened, because it meant lots of trips to Provo and money on postage for nothing! This was on Sunday. She said she would bring them the next day, on Monday. Yay! I was sure this time I would get them, because she had the right address. Well Monday came around and she had a shoot move to that day, so she needed to reschedule. Which was fine with me, these things happen. She asked if I'd be home the next morning. I said no because I had school. She asked about that night. I said yes. She said she'd bring them around 10 p.m. We said no problem, because my husband and I would be up late that night anyway. 10 and 11 rolls around and still no pictures or sign of her. No text, nothing. The next morning we had to get ahold of her to ask why she didn't show up. She told us her phone had died and that by the time she got home to charge it, it was really late so she didn't text us. Okay, fine. Once again, these things happen. I'm just glad she answered her phone when we called. She said she would bring them by that night and leave them at the door if she needed to. Well. My husband and I got off work late that night, and still no pictures. But hey! Who didn't expect that, right? We decided we'd just let her get ahold of us. This morning, she sent me a text at 9 a.m ish saying she'd bring them by in a couple hours. My husband and I were at school, so I sent her a text saying we were at school and to let me know if she had any questions or concerns. Well I got home from school about an hour ago and still no pictures or contact from her explaining why they aren't here.

Okay. Here's the thing: I'm not upset at all that it is taking this long. I understand that it takes this long sometimes. I'm just frustrated that every single arrangement has fallen short on her end. My husband and I were home every time we said we would be. We gave her all the correct information. We've been patient and understanding. Maybe a little pushy, but only because she doesn't communicate with us first to explain why the pictures still weren't in our hands. I just wish she would contact us more. Yes, every step of the way. I know we got a way good deal, but still! I just really want to see my pictures. And not have to worry about this anymore. I'm sure she feels the same way. To compensate for our troubles, she has offered us a free 16x20 matted picture. Which is nice of her. But we just want the pictures. And it's not so much about the time it's taking, it's about Kristin not following through when she said she was going to do something. And not just once. But over and over.

Kristin and Alana were so great to work with. Kristin was organized every step of the way, which made things flow so smoothly- this was the only vendor I did not have any problems or miscommunications with. We had one failed email, but otherwise she was on top of everything and was willing to work extra hard to accommodate my schedule even though it wasn't convenient for her. I liked that she brought assistants and extra things to really perfect the photographs, it made me feel like I was getting my money's worth, and again when I received them. They were gorgeous. I love her work and my photos.

I LOVED working with Kristin! She is so comfortable to be around and was so helpful with every step of the way. She made sure I was getting exactly what I wanted from my pictures, and I couldn't be more happy or impressed with them. I had so many compliments on how gorgeous she made me look and I was so thrilled when I got them back. I will never go to any other photographer.

Kristin has taken my kids photos 2x last year!! February and then I used her again for my dAughters when they were flower gills in my nephews wedding. and am so glad i did. The photographer at the wedding was so busy took way to long to take my daughters pictures and then he snapped one shot of them and ran off!! So needless to say I still got good pictures of my girls before that big day which made me feel relieved my girls got such awesome pictures! I will use her for every event I have. She is preffesional, fun and great with my kids!!

I'm glad I was able to book her! I had my eye on her for awhile but put off booking because she didnt seem to be as busy as the bigger photographers like Dan Hixson and such. I was wrong! She is fairly newer but was booked out quite aways.

She did an incredible job on my wedding day. I really couldnt be more pleased with them. She was booked out so I couldnt use her for my engagements and bridals, and I really regret not booking her farther in advanced. The other photographer really didnt even compare. Kristin was sweet, flattering, and even my guests commented on how great she was. I would highly recommend her.

A friend recommended me to Kristin. I fell in love with her work at first sight! She\'s unique and fresh, I really cant get enough of her work. I love going through my wedding album again and again and again.It\'s also nice to have pictures that measure up to the ones in her portfolio. I HIGHLY recommend her.

Kristin was really easy to work with, and such a steal. She should definitely be charging more for her photography! She has a very unique artsy style, and I have LOVED the photos she's done for me. She works efficiently, but she is extremely pleasant--she makes the whole experience very streamlined and enjoyable. If you have ideas, she is open to suggestions, but if you don't, she knows exactly what she's doing. She's careful to get a feel for what you want beforehand, and tailors your photos to what you're looking for. She also has a knack for making herself as present or as invisible as you need her to be: At our wedding site, she easily orchestrated large groups photos; but at our reception, she was able to capture lots of beautiful candid shots. I also loved how she covered the whole area, and always showed up exactly when I needed her. I highly recommend her.

I loved working with Kristin I thought it would be weird but she made me feel at ease. I loved how my engagement and bridal pictures turned out. I would definately recommend her to my friends. Hopefully I will be using her again (for baby photos) :-)

Kristin was so wonderful to work with! She made me look incredible for my bridals and was so easy to work with. She was open minded to my ideas as well, but if I didnt know what I wanted, she would tell me what to do. She was quick to get through all the group shots on our wedding day, letting the guests enjoy their day instead of waiting around for pictures. I enjoyed working with her, and will definitely be hiring her again.
