Krueger Memorial Hall
We had our ceremony and reception at this location and it was gorgeous! Very friendly, professional, helpful, amazing all around. strongly recommend to anyone for any event. The place is beautiful ladies!!!!!
Recently remodeled, this place looks amazing! From the outside it looks like a log cabin, set back from the street and nestled in the woods. Inside, there are 2 levels: the bar/ballroom upstairs and the banquet hall downstairs (there is also a bar downstairs). The ballroom has a huge stone fireplace on either end (I've seen a few wedding ceremonies done in from of them) and a small platform for a band or DJ. There are new restrooms upstairs also. Downstairs, there is a large banquet hall that can hold about 300 people, ample kitchen facilities and large restrooms. It's a blank slate that can be decorated in a variety of styles.
Krueger Memorial Hall is kind of a tradition in our family-at least 5 family members have had their weddings and/or receptions there. It's a great, roomy, rustic log cabin style building set on a wooded lot. The upstairs has 2 massive stone fireplaces that provide a beautiful backdrop for pictures or a small wedding ceremony (i've seen 3 ceremonies, 1 more in the planning stages now!). It transforms into a fantastic dance floor complete with a disco ball and bar area. The downstairs is a blank slate- a very plain neutral banquet hall with folding tables and chairs- a DIY fanatic's dream! With some creativity it can be transformed into the venue of your dreams. This venue does not offer catering, alcohol, or rental of dinnerware. All of that can be brought in at the bride and Groom's discretion. What's so great about this is your options are unlimited! You can have anything from a catered sit-down meal to a family-and-friends-prepared picnic buffet. It's the best place around for a beautiful elegant wedding on a budget.
