I had a large outdoor wedding. The waitstaff was attentive. They took charge and knew what to do so everything went great. Kym was always available to answer all of my questions. She helped us save money with her suggestions. I highly recommend them!

For the second time Kim provided me with a helper for a large dinner party. Communication with Kim is quick and efficient, prices are exceptionally good and lower than others I have used, and the server is capable, professional and most important courteous and pleasant to everyone. I have recommended Kim to others and will continue to do so.

I have used Kym's Party Helpers on several large party occasions at my home, and have been very pleased each and every time. The people that Kym sends are professional, articulate, detail oriented, and very, very efficient. This takes the stress out of entertaining on a large scale. Last weekend Kim helped out with a high school reunion - and she was so courteous, capable and effective. She alerted me when we were running low on wine, and even helped with the dishes! Kym's Party Helpers is a great asset when it comes to entertaining.

They were Great. Did everthing I needed and stayed loger then I asked. Very Friendly. I will use them again for my next event. They made the whole party for me. I was allowed to visit and not worry about the food, serving or mess. Was great to get up the nxt day without the big mess that is normally there to clean up . Not need to look any further . I wanted to thank you for your assistance during my party. Helpers did a wonderful job and were very courteous and attentive to my guests. They were energizer bunnies the entire night and agreed to stay an extra hour when asked without hesitating. Please thank them for me and let them know my family and I are all very, very happy we had them with us. Looking forward to working with them again in the future!

The owner and supervisor of the waiters were extremely nice and gave me the confidence to go with Kyms Party Helpers. Unfortunately, I was dissapointed in the service. I had 6 waiters for about 200 or less people (not all my guests arrived on time)and they were carrying 2 dinner plates at a time which took some people a long time to be served I thought they would be able to hold at least a minimum of 4 plates per waiter if not more. Also, there attire was very warn out and did not give the best impression I could see a huge drawing on one of the waiters t-shirts of how see through his white shirt was. One waiter continously spilled food and even spilled red hot sauce on my grandma and her dress. It was nerve wrecking to watch them on the floor and see how slow they moved and there presentation. I was up on the stage having to tell people to go help them. Sadly, my close friends and guests did have to assist them and my dad who was the person in charge of the kitchen also said some were nice but just had no experience in what they were doing. My family and friends were sad I spent any money on this service. I hired the waiters thinking I did not want my guests to work but enjoy the party. Sadly, I lost the money and had guests help anyway. I dealt with the supervisor during the wedding for 5 minutes and again she was very sweet no doubt about that and maybe they used back-up waiters or something went wrong internally but I could not recommend them based on he supervisor/owner being sweet people. Based on there reviews they may just be good for really small parties.

First of all, thank you for allowing our company the privilege to assist you with your wedding. Upon reading your review of our services, I am completely blindsided as the supervisor that you, your friends, and family were not satisfied with the service. Your father, mother, sister, and bridesmaids each told us before, during, and after dinner that we did a great job. Not one time did anyone express they were unsatisfied with any aspect of the service. Each waiter was tipped generously for their service at your wedding. We left feeling very confident that your night was a success. That being said, I will start off by saying that there were at least 200 people at your wedding, not less. I did a head count. Before your wedding when we mentioned we would be short-staffed with 6 waiters, we were told your family was going to help us hand serve the dinner. At no time did anyone help us hand serve the dinner. Two teenage guests came into the kitchen to help the caterers plate the food. While that was helpful to the caterers, it wasn't the serving help we had discussed. Since we were unexpectedly on our own with the serving, service was slower than anticipated. Another contributing factor was the fact that the dishes arrived from the rental company completely filthy. We had to wash hundreds of dishes right before dinner as well as those very same hundreds of dishes after dinner. It was more work than we were supposed to do but we did it because we're professionals. I want to make you aware of the fact that both your father and caterer instructed us in both English and Spanish to serve 2 plates per waiter. That is why we did not serve 4 or more plates per waiter. When the instructions for serving are given in two languages, they need to be taken seriously. The caterer who was plating the food put on a lot of sauce. It was higher than the surface of the plate. It was very awkward for us to hand serve the plates. We had to slow down because the sauce was very messy. There were a few spills and in hindsight, I would have asked the caterer to put on less sauce. I didn't do so because I didn't want to be disrespectful to his vision for the presentation. I would also like to make you aware of the fact that a family member took one of our waiters off the serving line to serve sodas, so we were left with only 5 for part of the dinner service. That did slow things down. That breaks down as 40 guests per waiter which anyone working in this industry knows is understaffed. Given that fact, we always do our best with the situations we are presented with. Next, it was mentioned that our attire was worn-out. This is simply not true. I had to re-read it several times, incredulous that we were both at the same wedding and this was actually being said about my staff. We have very high standards in grooming and service. If any of the vendors were dressed in worn-out clothes, they were not from my staff. I stand by the waiters I sent to assist you with your wedding. We have years of experience working weddings in upscale venues. Had we had the help that we were promised, the dinner service would have been quicker. That should not overshadow the fact that we all continually made sure the guests' needs were attended to in a friendly, prompt, and professional manner throughout the night, including the guests who came in late. Everyone had ample drinks and seconds on dinner (which we offered). We hand served the cake quickly and professionally to all of your guests. Your guests all seemed to be happy and enjoying themselves the entire time. I hope you can find some solace in that.

FAQ for Kym's Party Helpers
There's always jordan almonds, but guests really enjoy a "candy table" where a variety of candies are put in glass jars. You might try Jelly Bellies, Tootsie Rolls, Hershey' Kisses, Red Hots, See's Candies, or whatever you want. All that remains is to provide some scoops and bags for the guests.
If you do pick jordan almonds or anything else, we suggest someone handing them, out to the guests as they leave, because when favors are put on tables, a lot of them remain there when the guests depart.
How much to buy :
Coffee: one pound of coffee will make 60-80 cups.
Punch: One gallon of punch serves about 24 people (in the small cups with ice)
