am so happy that I had an opportunity to work with Patricia.
L'ezu gowns are stunning! Patricia is a real fashionista. She has such a great taste! Also, Patricia is so humble and sweet. I did makeup for one of her clients. You should hear how many beautiful words that bride told about her. She trusted her 100%!
L'ezu will make sure that you will look stunning on your wedding day.
I highly recommend L'ezu !
After going to dress store after dress store, not finding anything I like and seeing way too high price tags, I decided to go to this place that a friend of mine went to for her dress. I have a larger bust but smaller waist so none of those sample sizes in the stores fit me correctly. And it was really hard for me to justify spending hundreds or thousands of dollars on a dress that I don't even know will fit me once I get it in my size.
These two women were the best thing to happen to me. You bring pictures of what you want and essentially design your own dress- completely custom to your body, your curves and your ideas. They will do anything you want. They have an entire collection of dresses for you to try on if you have no idea and you can chose one type of neckline and another skirt, etc. And you are a part of the process, going in for fittings every couple of months. So if something isn't turning out how you imagined, you can change it. Or if your body changes, they can kind of get an idea of what needs to be fixed. A few months before my wedding, I got really sick and ended up losing a ton of weight. They kept holding off on adjusting the dress until I felt better. I'm sure they weren't thrilled with having to wait until the last minute, but they were so flexible and accommodating to make sure the dress looked impeccable on me. My last fitting was literally the Tuesday before my Saturday wedding.
They aren't cheap but don't cost more then most of the dresses you see out there (depending on what you want to do...lace is obviously more expensive but something simple could be super reasonably priced) plus you get something fit just to your body without having to pay extra for all the alterations. To me, it was worth the price and it looked amazing. It was completely unique and I know no one else will ever wear the same dress again.
If you aren't seeing what you want in stores, have a weird body or just want to design your own dress, go here! My mom also had her dress custom made here and they do anything...
The store is lovely, and Corina and Patricia can make you feel very special but my first experience there should have warned me off. The appointments before me were running late, and rather than hurrying those brides, I was relegated to their upstairs alcove with no private dressing area.
Flash-forward to two hours before my wedding: the zipper on my dress breaks. It simply comes off track and gets stuck. I can't describe the HORROR I went through. I called L'Ezu, and they sent the seamstress, but she didn't show up until nearly 3 hours after I placed the call (they blamed it on traffic). My wedding was in Hollywood by the way, not Timbuktu. Thank God for my wedding planner, Paula Gild, who literally sewed me into my dress, stitch by stitch, with one of those travel sewing kits. It's thanks to her that I was able to wear that dress down the aisle at all.
I called L'Ezu to get some sort of refund or at the very least, an apology. Eventually, L'Ezu claimed that I was aware that there was a problem with the dress and refused to accept any responsibility. I had had issues with the alterations a few weeks before my wedding, which I could write about at length here, because the stress of that alone was enough to ding my review of this place. But what is important is that a week before my wedding, I had my final fitting and everything seemed perfect. They certainly did not give me any warnings that something could be wrong with my dress. If they had, I would have insisted it be fixed. There is no way that I would have knowingly accepted a flawed dress.
I ended up taking them to court to try to get some of my money back, and I won my case. But it was a hollow victory. I lost a million memories (no pictures with my bridesmaids) and others are tainted by what happened. My husband and I spent several weeks taking dance lessons, but we had to scrap our first dance because I was absolutely terrified that the stitches might break with too much exertion.
Don't get sucked in by the charm of this place. Go to a store that works with big name designers who have quality control in their manufacturing process. I wish I had.
Corina & Martita SAVED my wedding! After months of working with a designer I had found online (NOT at L'ezu) to custom-make a dress that would "fit my body like a glove", I ended up with a really expensive dress that was way too big for me - and that my designer refused to make fit. She said it wasn't possible to alter it & I'd just have to "smooth it down" if I moved around so that it wouldn't pooch out... And I only had ONE WEEK before the wedding... IN TEARS, I called L'ezu and spoke to Corina, who said "how far away from us are you and when can you be here?" And Corina & Martita (the seamstress) FIXED MY DRESS in just 3 days so that it DID fit my body like a glove, and I got RAVE reviews from everyone at my wedding about how beautifully my dress fit. THANK YOU, Corina & Martita for saving my wedding. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND L'ezu to ANY bride - they are nice, professional, honest, fast, and incredibly good at what they do. I only wish I'd found them in the first place. Don't make the mistake I did - go to L'ezu FIRST.
This place was perfect for me. I wanted something simple, elegant but off beat. And with red hair I certainly didn't want white! My dress was absolutely perfect. The compliments at my wedding were constant.
Corina and her staff were great. I was very glad I found them!
I loved L'ezu. I discovered the little gem when went shopping on Robertson to browse the wedding shops that are all so cutely lined up. They took one of their basic dresses and customized it to make the dress of my dreams. I was completely impressed with the price based on the fact that it was practically custom designed for me.
I went to L'ezu on a Sunday and Corina helped me find my dreamed dress, she was very attentive and understood right away what i was invisioning all the three months i went shopping to other boutiques. Her service was unique, and made me feel like a friend. I am looking forward to show them my wedding pictures!!!!
I had a very good experience with L'ezu. Nobody really tells you what a nightmare dress shopping can be. It's surprisingly difficult to find a bridal shop where they aren't either cooing over you or nastily stuffing you into dresses you don't like. Corina, Patty, and Kristen treat clients like grown-ups, in the nicest way.
If you're close to their sample size, it's worthwhile to wait until their sample sale - I got my gown for a great price with tailoring thrown in, and the dress was perfect on my wedding day.
The two stars I took off were for the bridesmaids' dresses we got there. My dress experience was perfect; my bridesmaids' was not.
