Classic Party Rentals Napa
Classic Party Rentals appears to have a big monopoly in the overpriced-table-and-chair-rental market in Napa. If you're planning a large wedding, there are not a lot of others to choose from. What can I say? They were very adequate with their product selection. My fiance and I were surprised by how expensive some things are. $4 and up for a charger (and yes, that's a plate that never actually touches food!). $9 for a chiavari chair. $4 for the chair cushion. $3 for chair set up and cushion tying. We had no idea chairs were so expensive, but to be honest, we never compared these prices with others, so maybe we were getting a bargain?!
We also booked CPR for our rehearsal dinner, and we had a 4 hour window for delivery. The drivers showed up 2 hours early, couldn't enter the gate, and then demanded to be compensated extra for their time waiting.
Overall, we ended up liking the quality of the chairs and linens, but when you spend over $10,000 on rental equipment, I would expect more professional service.
I worked with Classic in both St. Helena and Napa. As I was trying to plan a wedding from a distance and had started a new job it was difficult to fit in everything into a weekend. Classic was relatively flexible in helping me out and responsed to my emails in a timely fashion. However when I went into the St. Helena store the woman that worked there was unfriendly and snobby- she had said my appointment was not on the books (I called the St. Helena number but I guess it goes to Napa and I was not told that my appointment was in Napa though I wanted to go to St. Helena), the woman acted like the mix up was my fault and had a "what do you want" attitude. This was actually they 2nd time I had met her and she was not much more helpful the first time. I had to order through my caterer and so they acted like they didn't need to really help me- very frustrating experience.
Classic Party Rentals was great for my linens and glassware. They seemed to have reasonable prices. I decided to add water goblets at the last minute and they were more than willing and able.
Classic Party Rentals has the most extensive event rental selection in the area, so was the obvious choice. They also have the most competitive rates and great design studio where you can go and see the product prior to the event, to make sure everything goes well together and it's exactly what you want. The service was great, and while there was a mix-up with delivery (an hour past the latest delivery time in the window), they were kind enough to unload the rentals and come back the next morning for setup. While this did cause us a little extra stress the day before and day of our wedding, they recovered nicely and the wedding turned out beautifully. Thank you, Classic, for your incredible product and affordable prices!
We enjoyed working with Classic for our event. Staff was very helpful and we got everything we wanted and stayed withiun our budget. I love the selections and colors from chairs, to chaircovers to linens, and chargers. We rented most of the items we needed from them. We chose them because it was convenient, and prices were reasonable. The reps that helped us were also super friend and professional. Everything went well, and the room looked gorgeous. We'd recommend them for sure.
Classic is really great because they have a ton of stuff to pick from and you can really make your event your own by customizing it with all of their rentals choices. We rented chairs, cocktail tables, linens, heaters, our dance floor and a few other odds and ends and it was great. They delivered everything on time and we really didn't have any problems at all.
The consultant we worked with I think was pretty swamped and so it was at times challenging to get a hold of her and to get our order updated correctly but everything ended up working out great.
I would highly recommend classic party rentals for any event rental. We rented our ceremony chairs from the store in Napa. From the time we contacted them through the day of the wedding I felt confident that because of their timeliness, professionalism and flexibility I would have no problems on the day of the wedding. They were also able to work with me when I added extra chairs just days before our event. Chairs were in decent condition.
Everything was great until pick-up, they left the rentals at the estate which we had rented for 3 days after they were supposed to pick-up. I spoke with 3 different people all promising me that they would pick-up the items within the hour, beofre the rentals were actually picked up. They can be very flaky, but my sales associate was very helpful. There are some problems with their systems.
All my friends used them and I was planning on using them but since they got bought out by the other company, there seems to be some confusion. I don't know, maybe it's just me.
I'll give them another call in a month or two as my wedding is still 9 months away.
I found this company online and gave them a call - which at that time, they gave me quotes for tablecloths, banquet tables, round tables, chairs, chafer dishes, and chafer pans. The quote was reasonable and the delivery showed up on time and they picked up on time. Sheena was great about responding to my multiple email questions.
I really liked everything we used from La Bella, which included fruitwood chiavari chairs, pearlized chargers, tables and five different types of linens. Going to their Napa facility to pick everything out was SO FUN - they have a huge selection to choose from.
La Bella was on the pricey side, and my planner did say she was having some contract issues with them due to La Bella being purchased by another company. Everything looked great at the wedding, so I guess everything was worked out!
Classic Party Rentals was great. They had a wide selection of items to choose from and that helped me when making a decision between them and another rentals venue. I especially loved our blue chargers, the italian glass beverage dispensers for our welcome beverage station and not to mention the seaspray (blue) linens.
Carolyne is great to deal with as well. I visited the showroom three times and she was accommodating in meeting my changes and requests. Classic is also great if you are having a wedding at Cornerstone because they always deliver to Cornerstone first thing in the morning, which is helpful in maximizing one's set up time.
They were located down the street from the venue and were easy to work with. They dropped off and picked up right on schedule. I liked them. The only thing I would change was the umbrellas we ordered we old and rusty. That was slightly dissapointing. Other than that they were great and were helpful answering any and all questions we had!
