La Fontaine Bleue Catering

First off I am a type of person who isn't into anything too fancy but we chose La Fontaine Bleue for our Wedding Reception because it was close for everyone and big enough space for our event. We go to La Fontaine Bleue for other events and their food is always delicious. For our wedding we were invited for a food tasting event, I left everything up to my-then-Fiance because as long as my guests ate then I know he would pick the right kind of food. The food he chose was perfect. He also chose the cake and let me tell you, that cake was absolutely beutiful. Let me also mention I was not the type of bride who wanted everything my way so to make my job easier I let him chose the food and our wedding cake, and he couldn't go wrong with that thanks to La Fontaine Bleue.

The only issue I had with them was getting in touch with people by email. I love to correspond by email and that wasn't very easy with La Fontaine Bleue so sadly I went there in Person each time I needed to handle something and that was annoying. I tried by phone but they rushed through everything so I made sure I was there in person.
2nd-our name cards for our guests wasn't the traditional name card, we had feathers in a shot glass that guests would take to their table, Well who ever set up the feathers and shot glasses, failed to set up 4 boxes of shot glasses and set up half the feathers and shot glasses but left the rest of the feathers just laying on the table-Very Tacky! And no body followed up with the guests to make sure everyone had the entire set up, it was a simple set up and we ended up going home with 4 boxes of shot glasses. Who ever was in charge of the feather set up, obviously didn't get the instructions. Some guests asked if only the special people got shot glasses, everyone at our wedding was special so that simple set up was out the door.
Everything else was beautiful, the decoration, the food...very beautiful, Thank you!

The ceremony and reception was absolutely beautiful. The food was delicious. The only issue we had: we requested 3 vegetarian meals for guests, but our guests did not receive them. Overall a good experience.

This Place was AMAZING!!! They were so nice and helpful. I would recommend this place to everyone!

The staff were excelllent throughout venue. They provided wonderful and good spirited service. Our space was beautifully decorated, food was good and our cake was just as wonderful. My husband and I was throughly pleased and impressed. They gave us more than we visioned. We are so ever grateful for everyone time and efforts for making our day special and unique.

I would marry my Husband each and every day if I could and each and every time I would use La Fontaine Bleue. My Husband and I were so completely impressed with the entire evening. The Chapel as well as the Reception area were both absolutely breathtaking and beautiful!! No one in the entire wedding party including our guests had to wait for anything, the appetizers and drinks were always stocked and presented in an extremely professional and formal fashion. The food was not only amazing but presented very well on each plate and the cake was as delicious as it was beautiful. We are still receiving phone calls about how good the food and service was. La Fontaine Bleue helped us to create our first and most important memory as Husband and Wife and we are forever grateful. And a special Thank You to Teresa (our planner through La Fontaine) for such an outstanding job.

La Fontaine Bleue was a pleasure to work with! They were not only very professional and willing to work with you, but they truely did all they could to make my sisters wedding reception everything she had hoped. The food was great, and the table setting beautiful as well. The managers and host I was in contact with, responded in a reasonable and timely manner, and really helped me with the wedding planning, making sure the evening went smoothly! I highly recommend them!

We looked for several months to find a venue for a ceremony and reception within our price budget. We found La Fontaine Bleue and it met all of our desires and so much more! Not only was La Fontaine Bleue a beautiful location, it saved us a lot of hassle in other areas with all of the amenities that were included. Having the chapel on site, food prepared on site, and the cake created on site saved us both time and money. We did'nt even have to worry about table decorations or flower arrangements because of the included choices for decorations and the elegant rooms at the venue. The cake was even customized to fit our wishes, not to mention all of the food was outstanding!
La Fontaine Bleue (and Jennifer, our contact) did an amazing job with simplicity along the way and taking care of all the little things for us, including a lot of setup. The tables and chairs, along with their coverings and decorations were perfect in everyway. We could not have gotten luckier, and at such a fabulous price range. We would recommend this to anyone who is on a tight budget but still wants an elegant wedding!

The food was good

Had a wonderfull time for our parents 30 year anniversary dinner! Everyone was well organized and took good care of us during teh whole night. Would recommend La Fontaine Bleue to friends and family, and already have done so.

We absolutely loved La Fontaine Bleu! The people working there are very nice and made sure every little detail was to our liking on our wedding day! We couldn't ask for a more perfect venue.

The overall experience with La Fontaine Bleue @ Glen Burnie was amazing. I thought everything was better than perfect. The staff the day of the wedding were helpful & friendly. The staff was on point..I didn't have to worry about anything literally. That to me is the best gift you can give a bride.

La Fontaine Bleue was my reception venue. I went with them because it's an all inclusive venue; they did the catering, cake, and provided the bartenders, alcohol and MC. From the time I started planning the wedding, the staff at La Fontaine Bleue was more than helpful. They did whatever they could to make my husband and I happy and make the reception run smoothly. From letting us have a second tasting because so we could select three entrees that we wanted served, to setting up all of my personal items for the reception (guest favors, and all of the table decorations I purchased). They were more than flexible to accommodate our requests.

While the staff were very accommodating, it's important to remember that they have busy schedules with events, both on and off premises. At times it took a few days for someone to respond to my emails. In addition, we asked for our cake to be sliced and bagged for our guests to take home, and other desserts to be served during the reception. Instead, the cake was sliced and served to the guests. These are minor things however, and over all I would recommend La Fontaine Bleue to others! The food was very good and the service was good as well. I absolutely loved Kurt (my MC).

I could not have picked a better place, they made ever vision i had come true.

I had a few hitches here and there, mostly with calling people and getting called back and making sure everybody was on the same page. I didn't want to pay the extra fee for alcohol for guests that were under 21 and this origionaly was fine, but then later we had to bring it up and few times to make sure they didn't charge us. And in our contract we had the wedding at a certain price and then they added 15% later. Which I thought they couldn't do because we had a contract with a different amount on it but in the contract they can charge up to 20% more for the whole thing. But I do have to say that on my wedding day, things were executed so well, I had a woman whose job it was just to make sure I had everything I needed. I was worried about the food because at the testing, it was just ok. But at the wedding it was very very good, I got a lot of complements that it was the best wedding food many people have tasted. And the wedding cake I chose was very plain but it was delicious. I would definately recommend this venue. Everything went very smoothly, most of what you need is included and you don't have to worry about it and even though they raised the price the value for you money couldn't be beat.

We had a great time; it was a perfect location for the money. We provided all the favors for the tables, and they set everything up! We weren't picky about the cake, and we were able to select one that we fit our "tastes" :) The only downside was that when the evening was over, we were not able to take any extra food home- food that was paid for, but some guests did not show up. But other than that, it was a beautiful reception!

La Fontaine Bleue is where we began our Dee Jay business over 25 years ago. So everyone at the Bleue is like family to us. From the Sales Staff to the catereing staff to the Chefs Mike and Tony and of course Ann Wood and Carmela Matters, we say THANK YOU for treating us with respect and in a very professional matter. Every event that we do at the Bleue including our Wednesday night Retro show is enjoyable and the staff goes out of their way to always give us what we need to have a successful event!

It has been our privilege to perform at La Fontaine Bleue on many occasions over the past few years. On every occasion the event has come off without a hitch. In addition to the fabulously beautiful facility they have, it is really the management and staff that set La Fontaine Bleue apart. These folks bend over backwards to ensure that every event runs smoothly and in accordance with their client's wishes. The food is incredibly good, (check out the crabcakes), and even when serving hundreds it is still fresh and served HOT! We highly recommend them.
