These days, it's extremely easy to become a disc jockey. Music is easy to find (download) and music players (mini mixers and ipods) are everywhere. But only a real DJ knows how to mix good music with good music. And that comes from years of experience. La Jolla DJs definitely rocked the dance floor at our wedding!! They knew the exact type of music and genre we wanted for our reception, and had high quality equipment and sound systems to fill our ball room. And they were extremely professional. Going with La Jolla DJs, we knew we were getting a real DJ, not a party/hype man (you know, "that guy" that talks too much on the microphone). So definitely go with La Jolla DJs!!

We have talked to people who have been to 3 recent weddings and they have nothing but good things to say about our DJ! La Jolla DJ was so great and Camerons focus on the couple made it fun for everyone! We went to a weddings and the DJ took all the spotlight and make it strange at times! Not La Jolla DJ, they know the wedding is not about the DJ but the couple! If I was you and you are thinking about this company, stop wasting your time and call them.

We were happy with this vendor's DJ-ing. People were dancing throughout the night and the music was mixed well to appease various age groups.

The DJ has an extensive website for music requests - it includes commonly requested songs, and search options. This helped us a lot with making our playlists. The music is pretty up to date.

Peyton and La Jolla DJ's- You executed the lighting and warm ambient glow to a T for us in the grand ballroom at the Prado - thank you for gifting us with our monogram piece and I can't wait to see how the cocktail hour went over! The colors in the room were absolutely perfect! THANK YOU! AND the slideshow was executed without anyone even knowing - you are GOOD! Our monogram gobo light went over very well - overall it was seamless!

The DJ played the music we wanted and it was a fun party but when we wanted to discuss some disappointments after the wedding, the owner was very unprofessional.

I looked and looked for forever to find a DJ for my wedding, and I am so HAPPY that I did. La Jolla DJ's made my wedding. They were so great at reading the crowd and everyone had the time of their lives. If you are looking for a DJ to make your wedding fantastic call these guys right away!!!

We are a fully insured professional special event company located in the greater San Diego area. We pride ourselves on being the young, fresh, and exciting organization. We realize that everyone at your event deserves to have a great time, but in all fairness, it's your special day, and the music/vibe should be geared towards you, not your parents friends, and relatives you see once a year. We don't use cheesy tricks like the electric slide, the macarena, and other standard novelty tunes to trick people onto the dance floor (although if you want to hear it, we will honor your wishes). We don't show up in goofy sequin tops with clip on bow ties. We are real emcees and djs who understand how to make it happen. It's a party from A-Z, with class, elegance, and a whole new level of intimacy. Hey, at least we're honest right from the start!
