We love Megan, she is organized, creative and enthusiastic. My fiance and I just decided to go with her for our wedding, we met with her last weekend, and she was so nice and listened and undestood what our overall theme was. A few weeks ago I met with a florist that my location rep had recommended. So my mother and I went and I had pictures and ideas i wanted him to incorporate. Our theme is daisies, and I told him i dont want roses, at all...no roses. I love roses, but they are a little too formal for our wedding and I want the whole night to be fun, I want daisies i want poms, I am open to other kind of flowers as well.... Well this florist kept pushing roses on me...I just sort of let him because I knew I wasnt going to go with him...and I just wanted to get through the session...anyways....back to Megan

I said, I really dont want roses and she understood...and she came up with tons of ideas and suggestions and actually looked at the pictures i showed her. She is great and I trust her. I highly recommend her to anyone in Southern California. She is also a coordinator.
I will keep adding my praise as we get closer to the date.

I will not be using La Partie Events for my wedding flowers but I had to put up my positive review regardless. Megan is creative, a good listener and designs the most unique and beautiful floral arrangments and bouquets. She doesn't just do flowers, she creates a gorgeous design that flows throughout the entire event. I have seen many of her arrangments in person and have been waiting for the day that I would get married so that I could have her do my flower design. Please consider Megan because I feel you won't be disappointed.

Meg was one of my favorite wedding vendors, no doubt. I stumbled upon Meg's website through Prj Wedding and was immediately inspired by her vision, her creativity and her unique style. We met shortly afterward and clicked immediately. Everything about Meg was in line with what I wanted. She listened attentively, was open to and tolerant of my endless suggestions and changes and took multiple meetings and calls to put my mind at ease. While we discussed many ideas, I put my faith in what Meg would design for our big day. A true artist, she exceeded our expectations and delivered an abundance of gorgeous spring florals, some of which we couldn't even name but they were all so beautiful. Her professionalism was evident on all levels; with me as well as my other vendors. Her pricing was very fair for the quality she delivered. She was extremely flexible and responsive, and held true to her need for artistic inspiration. It paid off. I'm so glad I chose Meg for our wedding day flowers. She not only dressed the room in gorgeous flowers but added her own personal creative touches that affected the overal design of the entire space/venue. She has true talent. Her warm and friendly spirit is pleasant and soothing. I would highly recommend Meg, LA Partie Events.

i honestly hated the centerpiece arrangements at my wedding. they were not horrible, but just not what i expected.

just with all the other wedding preparations, i was extremely picky in selecting a florist, partly due to the fact that i didn't see a point in wasting money on such perishable beauties yet i acknowledged the importance of them since they completely set the tone of a wedding. i probably talked to over 10 florists and met with at least 3 before signing a contract with megan from la partie events. she seemed to understand my vision the most and create the look without draining my bank accounts (just for the record, she was not the least expensive).

our initial in-person consultation took place at the venue, and megan was extremely helpful and accommodating to my budget. i wanted peonies, dahlias, garden roses and mums, and she agreed to provided them as long as they were available. our final meeting was scheduled 3 days before the event, and i was expecting to see some mock-ups, but only ended up dropping off all the supplies (candles, vases, table runners) with a grim news of no peonies (not in season). i still felt like i covered all the basis with megan since i've seen her recent works and been super impressed with them.

when megan delivered our bouquets on my wedding day, i was extremely happy. the bouquets were beautiful, romantic, original and creative with big, fluffy flowers.

however, the table arrangements completely disappointed me. all i saw were mums!!! i have nothing against those delicate petite petals of mums, but they don't exactly scream romantic celebration, unlike roses and dahlias. even my husband noticed how these flowers failed to compliment the setting of such beautiful venue. and the way those bowls were scattered, just seemed not so well thought out. all i could say was they looked very amateur and inexpensive, far from what i had expected from megan.

i don't want to dismiss megan's work and talent. she really is very creative and full of charms. she's an up-and-coming star in this industry, and rightfully so with her creations at other events. she did go out of her way to give me tips and suggestions throughout the planning process, but the end result just did not justify the price i paid for. i know i wasn't only paying for flowers, but even considering that, the arrangements could not have been all that labor intensive. the vendor i had the most faith and hope in turned out to be my least favorite...

Megan was the coordinator for our New Orleans "destination wedding" over Memorial Day. She covered everything from A to Z and made the whole process fun, exciting and organized. Her planning spreadsheets alone made my husband swoon! Meg and La Partie Events are the perfect combination of no-nonsense, creativity, sense of humor and understanding. The fact that we were in NY, Meg was in LA and the wedding was in New Orleans made our situation unique and potentially difficult, but everything ran smoothly and pleasantly throughout the entire several-month planning process. Meg had the patience to allow the colors, themes and ideas develop organically as we got closer to the wedding date. And she was always open to what we wanted or willing to offer suggestions and options when we didn't have a prepared vision on certain aspects of the wedding. Then on that weekend she followed through and pulled everything together perfectly. We were able to stay excited, relaxed and enjoy each other and our friends and family. People often say their wedding is all a blur, but thanks to Meg and La Partie I remember every wonderful moment of my wedding weekend.

La Partie Events gave me gorgeous unique flowers on an extremely tight budget.
I had zero vision for my wedding. I looked at magazines and websites and just couldn't find any sort of theme or look that I wanted. I had a beautiful venue and I knew if the flowers weren't special it would completely stand out in contrast to the site. I must have sent Megan from La Partie a million emails, every time I found something I thought I liked, which changed from day to day. She completely understood, was endlessly patient with me and the end result was brilliant. The flowers were spectacular and so unique, they didn't look like anything I'd seen at any wedding I'd been to before and they really complimented the setting. I got so many compliments on my bouquets, the centerpieces and the extra little touches she did around the venue. It was truly superb and she did it all on a really modest budget. That's what I think is really important. You don't want to walk into your wedding and think - it's beautiful, but if I had spent more money it would look amazing. Megan really made it amazing and I cannot recommend La Partie enough.

Megan is a life saver!!! I was a bridesmaid for my sister-in-law. Someone committed to buying her bridal bouquet...at the last minute that person backed out. My sister-in-law was devastated. She did not know where to start. This was only a couple of weeks before the wedding. I told my sister-in-law that I knew of someone that could help. I know Megan's work!!!

I contacted Megan and she came to the rescue. She talked to my siter-in-law and got an idea of what she wanted. The day before the wedding I made arrangements to pick up the bouquet and it was beautiful. When I showed it to my sister-in-law she was floored. "IT'S PERFECT!!!, It's exactly what I wanted." she said. I am very happy that Megan was able to help me last minute and make my sister-in-law's wedding day very special.

The georgeous and creative floral ideas truly enhanced the overall magic of the day and were a constant comment of our guests. All done in a tight time line and within a extremely competitive budget. What more can a bride & groom ask for. Megan took a few words of direction and developed them into EXACTLY what we wanted. La Partie was efficient with OUR time, organized, creative with absolute artistry and they participated in the day to make the cohesive whole come together. Megan did the Most Fantastic and Impressive Job with our flowers and decor, it was the talk of the night by all our guests, vendors and photographer! We were so impressed with our aisle Lantern arrangements that we didn't use an aisle runner because we didn't want to take away from the tone and atmosphere Megan had created. The Succulent and Flower centerpieces where such a hit, I loved every aspect of them, especially that they could Live On well after my wedding day. I had to ship some out to guests that live on the east coast, just so they could be healthy and enjoyed when they got home! The Flower girl baskets were amazing and nothing could top my bouquets! I could go on and on with Raving Reviews, but the most importantly, Megan is such a delight and very easy to work with. We had a tight budget, but you'd never know by the looks of Megan's Creative and Beautiful work! She is a great listener and has a magic way of interpreting and bring to life the thoughts and ideas I had in mind. Thank you Megan!

We absolutely LOVED the flowers that Meg did for our wedding. Based on the recommendation of a friend who works in the wedding industry, I hired Meg to do both "week-of" coordination and all the flowers for our wedding. I am so glad I did. I was nervous about hiring a florist because I usually find wedding flowers to be pretty boring and uninspired, but after scouring Meg's website I realized that her arrangements really were unique as well as beautiful. We talked a lot about finding unusual flowers and incorporating succulents and bright orchids and spindly wildflowers into the bouquets and arrangements. Meg put the varied textures and colors together in a way that was harmonious, artistic, and simply beautiful. My friends had been teasing me about having succulents as my primary wedding flowers, but when Meg's assistant brought in my bouquet everyone thought it was gorgeous--and my friends admitted they had no idea succulents could be so pretty. I've never been to a wedding where the guests gush specifically about the flowers, but they did at ours. Meg had shown me an inspiration board before the wedding to make sure we were on the same page about the flowers (and we were) but I was still blown away by how beautifully she put everything together. I can't recommend her highly enough.

We hired La Partie Events for Day of Coordination services for our wedding and it was a GREAT decision! We were planning our wedding from across the country and we needed a coordinator that we felt immediately comfortable with and would be responsive and quick with any questions we had. During our initial phone conversation, I instantly felt comfortable with Megan. And when we met in person, it just reaffirmed our opinion – she is warm, friendly and honest. She is extremely organized, task oriented and most importantly, she listened to our needs, as well as offered us her opinions/advice based on her experiences. Our wedding day went off without a hitch! The entire day was effortless thanks to all the hard work from Megan and her wonderful husband. We honestly did not worry about a thing! Hiring Meg was absolutely the greatest decision we made with regard to our wedding (other than the decision to get married at all!). First we hired her as our florist - for which she has an absolutely natural talent. We told her our colors and a few of our favorite flowers that we wanted to be integral to the arrangements, and she came up with something completely original and classy that exactly evoked the feeling that we wanted our wedding to have. As she offered to help us with so many other little details along the way, it was only natural to hire her as our day-of coordinator too. And she was utterly invaluable - we could not have done it without her help. Meg helped everything run smoothly, took so much stress off our shoulders and made sure every little detail was covered. Meg is a warm, friendly and creative person and we are so happy that we were referred to her, so we can refer her to other people and consider her our friend as well. The flowers on the day of the wedding brought tears to my eyes, they were so perfect. I can honestly say that our wedding day was as beautiful and happy as it was in large part thanks to Meg!

We had our dream destination wedding close to Mammoth Lakes, Calfornia and Megan embellished our wedding and added to the magic of the day by using her creativity and artistry to arrange amazing flower bouquets and boutonnieres for our special day! From the first day I consulted with Megan over the details of our red themed wedding, she made it quite apparent, that I had nothing to worry about. She put my mind at ease with her organizational skills and "can do" positive attitude. I will never forget the day of my wedding when I walked into the room where I was getting ready to find beautifull rose petals sprinkled on my bed. It got even better, when I saw my stunning bouquet! The flowers were gorgeous and everything I had imagined. Furthermore, the photographer commented on how the flowers really enhanced our wedding pictures. The photographer ended up entering a few of the photographs from our wedding into photo contests, and I know this would not have been done if Megan was not in charge of the flowers. I would highly recommend Megan at La Partie to anyone looking for unique floral arrangements and other creative touches to set their event apart. I gave her a basic idea to run with and the result was absolutely stunning. I hired Megan/La Partie Events for full wedding coordination as well as floral design and am so thrilled that I did so! Megan is so easy to work with, honest and friendly. I believe she is the type of wedding planner that will really be as involved as you need her to be. She can be there to guide you and help if you have a pretty strong idea about what you’d like to do, but she can also take the reins and create an unforgettable wedding. Most importantly she created a budget for my wedding and helped me stick to it! Her floral design and overall “art direction” were amazing. She has a strong eye for color and detail. On the day of the wedding myself, my bridesmaids and my family didn’t have to worry about a thing – we didn’t have to set up, clean up or coordinate anything. Megan kept us all on time, made the room look stunning and did it all with a smile. She even surprised us by leaving some of the beautiful flowers as well as champagne and snacks in our suite for after the wedding. Megan and La Partie events did an amazing job with our wedding flowers. When I saw the bouqets for the first time, I was in love. The style and colors were perfect. I told Megan that it was a Spanish theme and she created pieces that depicted that perfectly. Since the wedding was in the Spring, I still wanted some bright colors. Megan created the most perfect combination of deep reds, oranges, and Spring colors. She was so creative in using kumquats and baby artichoke in the bouquest and centerpieces. We had our wedding in the old San Gabriel Mission and the pew sprays were perfect for the theme and the old Spanish buliding. She used a lot of greens as well, which made all the colors come together nicely. I would definitely recommend Megan to anyome. She is very organized, professional, and creative. her work is so unique and beautiful. Thank you so much Megan, we loved it!!!

Oh, I just adore Meg and La Partie Events. Planning your wedding with Meg is like getting to hang out with your most creative, enthusiastic, organized best friend – and actually stay productive! We clicked from day one – and I knew we were pretty much design-o-philes separated at birth. She understood and added to our vision from the very first meeting – sending me ideas and inspiration boards on a regular basis. Meg absolutely went above and beyond her duties as day-of-coordinator and jumped into the entire process with a collaborative spirit fueled by her genuine passion and excitement.

FLOWERS: Her floral design is simply amazing. She took our vision for succulents and “billy balls” and turned them into a whimsical, modern element that brought everything together. I was blown away by the aesthetic and care she put into each of her floral designs.

COORDINATION: As a bit of a control freak, my friends and family were concerned I’d be a bit of a mess on the big day. I proved them all wrong- and I only have La Partie events and Meg to thank. She’s the perfect combination of creative artist and camp director. She put out fires we never knew existed and made sure everyone was where they needed to be (even if they needed a little pushing).

Most importantly La Partie Events brought all of our ideas to life better than we could have ever imagined and played an essential role in creating the very best day of our lives.

Meg did a fantastic job on our wedding flowers! She has a simple but elegant aesthetic, which matched ours perfectly. The bouquets and arrangements were colorful and well designed. My only qualification would be that she probably works best with brides who give her a little freedom to be creative with her arrangements and pick the flowers that look good at the market at the time of the wedding. I told her the colors and basic style that we wanted, and it turned out great! Brides with very specific requests would probably also be happy with Meg, but it worked out for us to go along with most of her ideas and suggestions. She’s also very easy to get along with and accommodating, which is important for dealing with nervous brides. We were so impressed when we first met with her that we hired her for day-of wedding coordination as well, and it turned out to be a great decision because my wedding day was essentially stress free primarily because of her. We really appreciate all of Meg’s hard work and we highly recommend her!

Megan was amazing! She took my half-formed ideas (green and white, cocktail feel) and transformed them into an amazingly beautiful night. She has fantastic taste and is really creative. Plus, she totally understood my budget and my needs. The bouquets and arrangements were absolutely gorgeous. Even more than that, she took the time to get to know my wedding site and came up with cool ideas like crystal chandeliers adorned with flowers and beautiful decorations for the entrance. She was incredibly organized and easy to work with, and all my guests commented on how beautiful the flowers were. I would use her again in a second and recommend her to anyone!

Meg did a fantastic job on our wedding! She went above and beyond to create a majical beach setting. Every detail was thought of and followed through with. We received so many complements on all of the georgous arrangements and centerpeices. Thanks to Meg we had the beach wedding of our dreams. Meg is our favorite! We worked with her on two weddings in 2008 and her flowers were OUTSTANDING. So beautiful, clean and modern.
