I originally booked La Rosa in January, but then due to budget constraints, cancelled them. When I found out that I had a little extra cash flow, I decided to book La Rosa as a surprise for DH. I contacted them Mid-March, and they still had all my information, and sent the contract over. I did everything over the phone and via email, and they were superb to work with. The best part was that La Rosa was HALF the price of the Cigar Rollers out there. In the end, DH ruined his surprise because he's so nosey, but it was still a very special touch that I recm'd to each bride. The roller came in midway through the reception, set up, and got right to work. Our guests absolutely loved the "manly" touch and enjoyed their cigars.
La Rosa Cubana came during the Venetian hour to provide guest with cigars rolled on the spot. They also came with plenty of pre-rolled cigars for guest who didn’t want to wait. They offer several packages and I found their prices to be the most reasonable in the New York City/Long Island area.
What a wonderful touch for all the boys at the wedding! I was completely impressed. It was such a nice treat and they are beyond wonderful to work with.

At the age of 39 he founded La Rosa Cubana Cigars along with his skilled rollers. Over the years La Rosa Cubana has earned a reputation for carrying the finest Cuban/Dominican blends. The filler, which could also be called the heart of the cigar. The filler is Dominican tobacco only, grown on their own farms in the Dominican Republic. The leafs used have the length of the cigar itself they're called long fillers. It is the highest quality available. The cigars are inspected on a regular basis to ensure the highest standard of quality. A strong and durable binder keep the cigars perfect shape. Besides keeping the cigar in perfect shape it also controls the slow and even burn of the cigar. For the wrapper which is the face of the cigar they only use the largest and most beautiful tobacco-leafs. They are also grown on their farms in the Dominican Republic.
