Mandy (La Sorella Bridal) did our hair for myself and five bridesmaids. She was extremely professional, on-time, and created six fabulous styles that pleased everyone!

Although most brides are in their 20's/30's, I was a bride in my 40's, and Mandy did such a great job for me and my wedding party. She has so much experience that her suggestions and expertise are evident.

Mandy and Alexa together made me feel like the princess I always dreamed of looking like on my wedding day. Mandy even came back half way through the cocktail hour to transform my hair for when I was introduced into the reception. My hair did not MOVE for both style changes. My photographer took these crazy pictures of fifteen brushes in my hair but it was worth every penny. I felt like I was in a vidal sasson commercial! I cant thank her enough.

Mandy was one of my favorite vendors for my April 25th wedding. She was very professional from the beginning and we just clicked. I didn’t have a trial with her until a month before the wedding due to me changing my mind about another vendor. My trial came out great but I later changed my mind from an up do to a half up half down do. She was very understanding and agreed we could change it on the day of the wedding. I emailed her a picture and my hair came out absolutely beautiful on day of. She also did all of my bridesmaids hair, which all have different textures and their styles held up all night. The girls looked so beautiful. Mandy was quick, precise and talented at what she does. I definitely recommend her to everyone. My hair is naturally very curly and up until I met Mandy I never thought I could wear my hair down without it frizzing. My hair held the whole night even though it was the hottest days in April. I got so many compliments on my hair!

Mandy did my mother, two of my bridesmaids, and myself for my August 28th wedding. Everyone's hair looked great!

I did several unsatisfying trials with other hairstylists before I booked Mandy. When I went to my trial with Mandy, my current hairstyle wasn't working with the look I was going for for the wedding (it was too long and there weren't enough layers). She told me what I needed to do to my hair to have it look the way I wanted on my wedding day. I did exactly what she told me to do (chopped two inches off, added more layers, and got thicker side bangs) and it definitely helped in achieving the look I was going for. My hair came out perfect and exactly how I had it pictured on the wedding day!

Mandy is very talented and a pleasure to work with! I felt very comfortable with her from the second I walked in the door for my trial.

Mandy was definitely one of my favorite vendors. My hair was my favorite accessory on my wedding day, I liked it even more than my dress! I had 2 trials before my wedding, the first one didn't go too well, nothing at all on Mandy's party, I just didn't know what I wanted. I emailed with her before my second trial, sent some inspiration pictures, and was totally blown away by what she did. It was at that moment when I really started to get excited about everything.
Mandy was on time (if not even early) on my wedding day, and finished everyone's hair in a timely fashion. She styled my hair, 4 bridesmaids, and my flower girl. One of my bridesmaids has little longer than chin length, straight hair. She kept saying before the wedding that she would just get a blowout, she didn't think there was anything that could be done with her hair. Sure enough, Mandy showed her that she was wrong! She got the cutest curly updo, she was so happily surprised. Everyone's hair stayed perfectly all night, mine even looked great the next morning.
I'm one of those girls who thinks my hair can make or break my look. Well, my hair definitely made my look!!! Mandy was patient with me, helped me find the style I was looking for, I even went to her for a cut and dye the week before my wedding. I definitely recommend her!

Mandy was absolutely amazing! I am very picky with my hair and ever since the trial with Mandy, I even have her cut my hair now. With all the things a bride has to worry about I never once had to worry about Mandy or my hair. I went for 2 trials because I was a nervous wreck and Mandy could not have been more wonderful about it.
My mother, curly thick and short, had her hair done by Mandy as well. Mandy gave her an amazing blow-out using her unique technique.

I first met with Mandy in March of 2007 for a hair trial. I emailed her at night and she got back to me right away and scheduled something for that weekend. I booked her on the spot!!

I had two trials, one updo (in March) and one down with curls (later in the summer, maybe July). Both trials were incredible and Mandy was so much fun to work with. She is very professional, fast and is full of great ideas. She has a trained eye and knows what works and what doesn't work for each person's hair.

On the morning of my wedding, she arrived early to set up and then got to work... she finished 7 of us in 3 hours. Everyone's hair was perfect and stayed put throughout the end of the reception.

La Sorella Bridal saved my wedding day. At the last minute my hairstylist backed out and I had two weeks to find another salon. I contacted Mandy via email, after some great word of mouth reviews, and she responded immediatley, ready to step in and help save my day. She calmed my nerves and offer any assistance she could. Her business sense was oustanding and her customer service far surpassed what I could have ever hoped for on such short notice. I had a hair trial 4 days after my initial email to Mandy. Mandy herself was not available so she sent one of her hairstylist, who made us all just beautiful! I highly recommend doing the hair trial prior to your event and bringing pix from magazines of similar styles you are interested in. However, the pictures are not necessary since Mandy is a very gifted stylist who really listens to what you want and can do any style your heart desires. Not only did she make my hair look gorgeous for my big day, she styled my sister (MOH) and my mom's hair flawlessly. Everyone complimented how beautiful we all looked. I first met Mandy back in May 2008 when I went for my 1st hair trial - Right away she knew what kind of hairstyle I was looking for - I loved my hair trial sooo much that I booked her right then and there on the spot. She is truly an AMAZING person! Very very sweet! Mandy the owner of La Sorella Bridal did an incredible job with my hair for my June 2009 wedding. I meet with her for my trial and she helped me create a beautiful style for my big day. The day of the wedding she also created styles for my mother and four bridesmaids. Everyone, including my mother (who is quite picky) loved their look.

She was so very quick and so very efficient. We all looked wonderful and the best part was that my hair held all night (this is very unusual since I have very heavy hair and had Mandy do loose curls...I was initially worried that by the time the reception started my hair would have been dull) however, it was quite the opposite! My hair looked absolutely great from the moment Mandy finished at 11am all the way through til the partying ended at 4am. As silly as it may seem my hair was at the top of the list of priorities for our wedding. Looking through Mandy's website I could tell she knew what she was doing. At the trial I expressed what I wanted and Mandy did exactly that. I didn't even bother looking for other hair stylists. I booked Mandy on the spot.

The day of the wedding Mandy showed up on time and ready to do hair. My two bridesmaid's hair turned out perfect. My sister's hair was above her shoulders but Mandy gave her a style that was elegant and funky at the same time. I decided to go with her optional prep time, which I highly recommend. When she blew my hair out I felt so amazing, she didn't want to touch it. She decided to change the style a little from the trial and wow I couldn't have been happier. When she placed the flower in my hair and I looked in the mirror I instantly felt like the most beautiful bride.

Not only does Mandy do absolutely amazing hair but she's also great to work with. I know she normally works with Alexa the Glam Fairy for makeup but she was great with my makeup artist. They worked together to get us ready on time and we all sat around talking like old friends. Mandy helped make the start of the day the beginning of my perfect day.

I was just married about 3 months ago - August 23rd. I was referred to Mandy by Alexa Prisco..aka..the Glamfairy. I have to say, Mandy is a extremley professional and talented woman. I warned Mandy right away...I am the pickiest person when it comes to my hair. I actually had Mandy do two hair trials so I could make sure it was just right. She was amazingly patient and understanding the entire time. The day of the wedding my hair came out even better than the two trials. Mandy also had to do my mom, my sister and four of my friends hair for the wedding. Everybody was RAVING about their hair. Mandy seriously went out of her way to make me, and everyone else happy with their hair. I'm so glad i went with mandy for my wedding day hair =)

Mandy is great at what she does, but I felt a disconnect in our communication. She gave me curls in my updo the day of the wedding, even though I specifically told her I didn't want curls, and despite the fact that I had pictures of the hairstyle in front of her to use as a guide. Thankfully, I had planned on wearing my shorter veil the entire day, so the back of my hair was covered and it wasn't a huge issue. Also, I found it SO irritating and nerve-wracking that she insists on not having yoiu see what she's doing until she's done with your hair (ie, no mirrors)! I think allowing clients to see what's happening as she's working on their hair could save a lot of problems in the end! Especially if you have an updo, it's not like you can make a lot of adjustments once it's up!

I love Mandy. She took care of my hair the year leading up to the wedding. She has done my hair for a couple of occasions throughout the year. I will keep going back to her for my cuts. She is very professional and focused. Her styles stay in and look so good. She is a dream maker with a curling iron. She was on time, did all my girls and myself. She came back after cocktail hour to touch my hair up - it didn't even really need it b/c it stayed in so well. All my bridesmaids loved their hair and we got a lot of compliments!

I just recently came across this site and decided to write a review for Many of La Sorella Bridal. I was married on 4/20/07 and was referred to Mandy through Alexa of "Glam Fairy" (who did my make-up) I went for a trial with Mandy and brought a picture and my veil and said "I want this exactly on my wedding day". Within the hour, she transformed my hair to that picture.
On my wedding day she was on time and very professional. She also did some of the hair for my wedding party, and even re-did my picky sisters hair for her after she was getting fussy over it. I felt beautiful, and everyone commented on how great my hair was. It did not move the entire day, and stayed just as beautiful for all he pictures. I would highly recommend Mandy for anyone for their wedding or any event for that matter. I noticed some of the reviews complained about prices, but I feel that you pay for what you get, and in this case i got a great deal, because Mandy exceeded all my expectations for my hair on my wedding day.

When planning my wedding, I had this hairstyle in mind that I wanted for my special day. I went to a local salon for a trial and it was horrible. I searched online for a bridal haristylist and found Mandy of La Sorella Bridal. I couldn't believe that someone could make my dreams and ideas come to life! So I'm not a bride, yet, but I have been a bridesmaid/maid of honor in 7 weddings in the last year and have had more updo's than any one person should ever have in their life. I can honestly say that my hair looked the best when Mandy of La Sorella did it. The weather the day of the wedding was hurricane like and we had to run in and out of church under golf umbrellas, but none of 7 bridesmaids and a bride moved...it was unbelievable. None of the bridesmaids had pictures to show Mandy, so we gave her an idea of what we all wanted and she certainly delivered!! We all had perfect hair, and each style was different from the next. Mandy was early and stayed on schedule, which is a big deal for my neurotic self. I have, and do HIGHLY RECOMMEND La Sorella for your wedding day. There is so much to worry about, and your hair doesn't have to be one of them. I already have Mandy reserved for when my BF pops the question! :-)

La Sorella Bridal did all the hair for my wedding in September 2007. Mandy is an amazing hair artist; from the minute I met her she made me feel so comfortable and really worked with me to create a stunning up-do for my big day. As the mother of the bride, it is comparatively as stressful as being the bride, but dealing with Mandy really calmed mine and my beautiful daughters nerves. She was very helpful in not only creating a beautiful hair style, but also showed us options and introduced us to ideas we hadn't even thought of. I can't say enough about how accommodating she was. I felt like a queen and my daughter looked like a princess.

Mandy did a great job on my hair for my September 2008 wedding - which wasn't easy, considering I changed my desired look three times! On the day of the wedding - an awful, rainy, high-humidity day - my hair came out exactly as I'd imagined it and managed to stay put throughout the night. It was very cool to see a bunch of brushes stuck in my head at once, LOL. Anyway, she got a lot of volume and straightened it at the same time during prep time, then she put my hair up in a smooth bun. Mandy was absolutely amazing! Besides transforming my thin and medium length hair into full, shiney, long, beautiful hair full of body and volume, she was a complete professional. The extensions she put in looked so real and didnt move an inch the entire night! She came early the day of and was ready and waiting for my bridal party and I when I arrived. She was a complete pleasure to work with. My hair was absolutely perfect and it was exactly what I wanted. I highly recommend Mandy!

I got married in April 2008. I had my hair done by La Sorella Bridal. Mandy is the owner of the company and the head stylist. She is a true artist and a strong business woman. She puts 100% into her clients and runs her business like a professional. To be honest, I do not have time to write reviews about each and every vendor, but felt the need to review Mandy and ONLY Mandy when I came across "project wedding". I was stunned to see that one of Mandy's reviews from a past bride was not what I expected to read. Hmmmm I thought, doesn't sound like the hair stylist I hired. I was a picky bride especially because I love hair and makeup. I think it is one of the most important parts to the overall look. I would pay any amount of money for a good stylist who knows how to work it. Mandy deserves only Great Reviews. When you hire a vendor you hire them for their talent and expertise, so little petty issues are a waist of time reviewing. Get to the point people. This girl is Good!

Mandy did such an amazing job on my hair. I was so nervous since I did not have a trial with the updo that I had picked but she made it even better then I could have imagined. She also worked on five of my bridesmaids hair and did a beautiful job on them as well. I live about an hour and fifteen minutes from her and she still made the drive down. I really was so happy with her buisness and the beautiful work that she does.

My wedding was on June 8, 2008. I hired Mandy from La Sorella Bridal to do my hair and nine bridesmaids. She was Fantastic!!! I worked with Nicole from La Sorella bridal and she was fantastic. She is very friendly and pleasant to work with, and her hairstyles turned out amazing. My hair held the whole night, even after a lot of dancing. Each style she did for my bridal party was perfect for their face shape and all of my girls were very pleased with the results. No complaints at all. Do yourself a favor and book a trial with her!

Mandy is truly great at what she does. I was really nervous about how my hair would turn out. I have thin pin straight hair and couldn't seem to get a hold on what I really wanted done. I had 2 trials with Mandy and each of them were wonderful but I left feeling unsure of what I wanted...even though I kept changing my mind, the day of the wedding Mandy totally nailed the hair I was looking for. I LOVED it!!!!!!!! I got so many compliments on it. It lasted all night and even into the morning.

My MOH brought her a picture of what she wanted and she was able to re-create it even better than the picture in the magazine.

Mandy also works really quickly..it took a lot of stress off my shoulders when we were all done before schedule...she is a little expensive but totally worth it!!

Booking Mandy to do the hair for myself, my 8 bridesmaids, and the mother's of the bride & groom was one of the best and easiest decisions I had to make for my wedding. With little direction from me, she created the most beautiful wedding day hairstyle for me, making me feel more beautiful and more like a bride than I had ever expected. She also created 8 different hairstyles for all of my bridesmaids just by looking at a picture they provided the day of the wedding.

And besides how beautiful I felt, my hair stayed up through the wedding, the plane ride, and the first day of the honeymoon :)

So a little over two and a half years ago I did this wedding and I met this amazing hair stylist. We didn't end up actually doing that wedding together but we were networked through the bride and in our first conversation discovered we had a lot in common.

For a long time I didn't even work with a hair stylist seeing as I could never find anyone that I was blown away by. Well... when Mandy (who is the owner and creator of www.lasorellabridal.com) and I did our first trial together we were both totally aghast by the way our work complimented each other.

In an event, we learned that not only was our work absolutely complementary of one another-- but we seemed to have the same idea's in terms of customer service, "the customer experience" and a general light hearted but hard-working approach to our businesses.

We both share the same philosophy in that a bride not only has to feel 110% comfortable with the makeup and hair-- but mainly, the need to feel comfortable with you. No one wants some uppity, ego-maniac, overwhelming artist on their special day.

So, over the past two years Mandy and I not only have worked together but we have decided to be business partners. We merged our companies and although we still run them as two entirely different entities we understand that the work we do in tandem is nothing short of a masterpiece. It is rare being a young entrepreneur and finding someone who shares the same passion and vigor for their business as you do-- so our ability to truly understand one another is priceless.
