> My husband and I went through La Sposa/Ginos for ourselves, 5 bridesmaids, a junior bridesmaid, 5 groomsmen, 4 ushers, a ring bearer, and two dads. For each fitting the girls were treated with no respect. We were misquoted prices on alterations and tuxes, the price quotes were not written by La Sposa/Ginos staff so they would not honor the prices we were quoted. > I was charged $55 for a bustle that didn't make it to the wedding day. During my last fitting the bustle process was shown to my maid of honor. The dress was un-bustled once we left the store. When we went to bustle the dress on the day of the wedding a number of hooks/thread for the bustle were broken. Please keep in mind my dress hasn’t been bustled/un-bustled since we picked it up from the dress shop. The attendant at La Sposa stated that it was my fault for not trying to bustle the dress before the wedding, practice at the store should have been enough. My wedding dress got dirty because the bustle never worked. > The bustles for the bridesmaids were all done at La Sposa by the same seamstress but did not match nor did the seamstress bustle the sash that went to the floor. > One of my bridesmaids' dresses was taken in too tightly. She had complained during her fittings but the dress was never corrected. When it came to the big day she could hardly zip up the dress. In the evening the dress began to rip around the zipper. > The junior bridesmaid was charged the same price for alterations as the grownups when her dress was less than half the material. > We went into the store to complain after the wedding but the only thing they did for us was correct the tux prices which they originally over charged on. They didn't reimburse for any of the alterations because La Sposa/Gino's stated "these complaints should have been made before the dresses left the store," which they were. The dresses were at the store up until two days before the wedding.

when I was shopping around for a wedding dress, it seemed that everyone I loved was a La Sposa! This is a great Spanish designer, and I almost wish I could get married again so I could buy another!

My bridesmaids got their dresses at La Spousa. I would highly recommend them for their HUGE selection of bridesmaid dresses, and they had good prices. The guys also got their tuxedos at Gino's, which was not such a great experience. At least half of the tuxedos had some major fit issue (pants too short, sleeves too long, shirts the wrong size, etc.) They did get them corrected in time (my husband went to pick his up right away, and when he had an issue we told everyone else to go right away in case there were other issues--which there were!) Also, my brother told me at the rehearsal dinner that he had been charged $30 more than the price I had been told when I picked out the tuxes. I would not recommend Gino's unless you like extra stress in your life.I really wish these two vendors could have been rated separately, because I feel like I am lowering the rating that I would have given for La Spousa, where we had a good experience, because of the lousy experience we had a Gino's--which I would have given a lower rating...

I was able to get my wedding dress for half the cost of other bridal shops. It was the same exact dress as seen in the cataloge. It was worth looking around for the dress.
I was a little disappointed because my dress was not altered in the straps very well. I asked them to fix it 3 times and it never changed and they ended up charging me a pretty penny to fix nothing. I ended up getting it done by another person. Otherwise the personal was very nice.

This place was BAD! I went to this shop because my future sister-in-law and bridesmaid lived in Kenosha at the time. I loved the dresses we picked out—but we ordered 7-and when they came, NONE of them fit my bridesmaids. We knew when we ordered and they matched sizes with measurements that the sizing seemed odd and tried to call their attention to it, but were told they know the business and to trust them. BIG mistake. ALL 7 of my bridesmaids had to have major, and costly, alterations done. The service was also very bad. They will not ship dresses to you—you must pick up in person. I would never recommend this boutique to any bride.

My only complaint is that I felt as though they weren't taking me serious. I am a young bride, and I don't know if they felt as though I was going to flake, or my money wasn't as green as the next persons, but anyway. I did find a dress during there Bridal Clearance they have every year, a dress that was normally $900, I got for $100. I found a veil that coordinated very well with my dress, which wih alterations, added on another $100. We planned our wedding in 6 weeks, and they were flexible in scheduling the fittings, and came through on all the alterations in a timely manner.
