La Tee Da

I chose La Tee Da as my wedding florist as I had been involved in many of my friends weddings and was totally mesmirized by the beauty and personalized style of their flowers. I decided then, that La Tee Dee was the one perfect choice for my wedding.What a joy it was to design the wedding of my dreams with Barbara, Her weddings are all so beautiful and exquisite . My wedding day finally arrived and I was not to be dissapointed! La Tee Da is truly the most amazing florist! My flowers were so incredibly beautiful, They were everything I had wanted and more. I could see the creativity and love that went into creating the flowers that dreams are made of. My wedding day was truly beautifull and I want to thank La Tee Da for the most incredible day of my life. Thank you, La Tee Da, You are the best!

I loved working with everyone from La Tee Da. During my initial appointment, Barbara sat down with me for hours showing me various pictures and allowing me to really dream of my perfect day. They even saved the day when I forgot to order a bouquet for my bridal pictures. I called the day before and Barbara and her husband met me at their shop before business hours with a bouquet that was perfect. Now, La Tee Da is not cheap but you really get what you paid for. When I arrived to the venue on my wedding day, I couldn't believe how beautiful it was. The arrangements were huge and honestly, the most gorgeous I have ever seen. My wedding was months ago and I have still getting compliments on the flowers.

Barbara and her team made sure my day was perfect! The flowers and bouquets turned out more beautiful than I could have ever imagined!! Since I'm not great with flowers, Barbara took the time to explain what would work beautifully on my day!

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Barbara and her staff at La Tee Da flowers! I live in California, and my wedding was in Texas... Barbara went out of her way to make sure that everything was as easy and stress-free as possible for me. Barbara went way beyond being just a wonderful florist, she looked up vendors for me beacause she knew I lived out of there area. She even meet me, last minute, and on her day off, while she had house guests over for the Christmas holiday, because she knew I was on a time crunch. How many florists do that? None, JUST La Tee Da!!! She worked within my budget, and made suggestions on how I could save money, and still have beautiful flowers at my wedding. I am beyond pleased with how kind, professional and amazing La Tee Da Flowers are!!

Barbara and her staff are amazing! I walked in with a wedding magazine and said, "This is what I want...but I cannot spend $25k+ on flowers. What can we do?" Without hesitations, she and her staff did more than I dreamed within my budget. I cannot say enough about the time she spent with me and my mother to plan every detail involving flowers and candlelight. She even made the ballroom we married in have the feel of church by adding a large iron cross, which she draped with a stunning floral garland, as the backdrop of our ceremony. It was perfect and more than I dreamed of thanks to her and her team!

La Tee Da designed gorgeous flower arrangements for our wedding party. My bouquet was gorgeous. Since Tyler is the Rose capital of the world I wanted to incorporate roses which are my favorite flower. The altar arrangements were pink hydrangeas and the bridesmaids all had different shades of pink roses. The groomsmen wore a single pink rose and my bouquet was a mixture of white Gardenias and gorgeous shades of pink roses and was held together with white satin ribbon.

I can not lie that the flowers were beautiful. And, they were enjoyed by everyone at the wedding. The work of the florist is definitely what caught our eye at a bridal show, however:After my mom and I were told the flowers would never be late, they were still being put together as we were taking family pictures before the wedding. The flowers were pricey, and my mom and I felt that we were being pushed to buy more to make it look better (we intended on never having many flowers, because the venue was beautiful in and of itself). We feel that we could have gotten better service if we went somewhere else. My mom was sent another customer's contract in the mail. When she called to explain the problem, it was a while until she actually spoke with Barbara. And, the whole problem seemed a hassle. During our consultation to finalize the flowers, Barbara took a phone call that "had to be taken." We understand if it is an absolute emergency, but we were then rushed to finish the meeting, when half of it was spent with her on the phone, which we did not think was fair.

I had a few problems with my florist. She almost missed an appointment, I continually felt like she was trying to force sell me more and more stuff that I didn't want, and she was much more opinionated about what I needed than I felt she should be. However, she's good...really, really good. Several acquaintances and I all used her for our wedding, and the flowers were breathtaking at all of them. I've been getting such good responses back from everyone who has seen my flowers. I wouldn't use her for a traditional rose bouquet, but if you want something different she's the way to go. My bouquet was a mixture of 4 types of roses, calla lilies and hydrangeas. My centerpieces were roses floating in water with arrangements on top. By all means talk to her about her wrought iron window covered in flowers. I was taken away by it all. She showed up early to make sure everything was okay and checked in with every single person to make sure their flowers were okay. She even stayed through the first of the reception to move some of my outside flowers inside for the reception.
