Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa

We had our ceremony overlooking the lake and our reception in the lake view room. It was very beautiful. They catered our reception and the food was great. Lisa was our planer through the resort. She was very helpful, patient and down to earth. A real pleasure to work with. Our wedding went off with out a hitch. We can't think of one thing that went wrong. We got our dream of a beautiful white wedding. Thank you!

Lake Arrowhead has been a special place for my family for as long as I can remember so I was lucky that my husband enjoyed it as much as we do. This made choosing a wedding venue very easy. We’d had a long engagement and kind of just escaped up to Lake Arrowhead one weekend to get away from the hecticness of life. Once up there we met with Lisa from the catering department and she had a consultation with us regarding a potential wedding, walked us around the property, and truly made it seem as simply as 1, 2, 3. Needless to say, we were instantly in love with the grounds and couldn’t imagine any other setting for our wedding. After showing the venue to our families, the decision was unanimous and we booked our date. We booked about 13 months or so prior to the wedding and had such a fun time planning the wedding. Lisa was amazing to work with and was super quick to reply to phone calls or e-mails; she really made this whole experience so seamless. I can’t really say enough how amazing it was to have her throughout this process, she was ALWAYS friendly and helpful, she always seemed to go above and beyond the standard or norm to ensure we were happy and our day was going to plan. The day of our wedding she called my Bridal Suite to make sure we had food and beverages and that everything was going smoothly. When she left for the evening on our wedding night, it didn’t occur to me that we wouldn’t be e-mailing and calling all the time anymore and I have to say I was a little sad!! I highly recommend this venue, you get SO much for your money and having Lisa (or any of her fellow coordinators) made our day a breeze, we had nothing to worry about and our wedding day was BEYOND perfect!!! If I had to do it again, I wouldn’t change a thing!!

The food for our son's wedding was truly outstanding. It was gourmet quality. When we had our food tasting, they were very responsive to suggestions and changes. They accommodated our requests. In a way, we were able to customize our menu without added cost. The hors d'oeuvres were so good--we had mini beef Wellingtons and the crust was so light and flaky. The crab cake was very fresh and delicious, the mushroom in a pastry puff was flaky and well flavored, and the seafood was so fresh. The crab legs were sweet, the oysters were very fresh, the shrimp was big and sweet. I could go on and on about the hors d' oeuvres but I better go to the main course. The lobster was fresh and done perfectly, the filet mignon was deliciously flavored and the chicken was also great. The soup and the salad were light but loaded with flavor, and the desserts were outstanding. The guests just loved their gourmet coffee station. The guests all raved about the food. We got so much food for the money. It was really a great value. Since the wedding was on a Monday evening, we got good rates from all the vendors.

The only thing that could make the dinner better is if they had come out with the food quickly. Some tables were already done with their dinner while the other tables were just being served. That was the only flaw.

This place was amazing!!! The view is beautiful the hotel is awesome! And Lisa Fleming the wedding coordinator was their secret weapon she helped my make my dream wedding a reality. She went above and beyond anything I could have asked for. Everyone of my guests complimented my venue. I wouldn't have had my wedding anywhere else.

I just have to say that Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa offers an amazing wedding package for a great deal! I've talked to other brides and they can't believe that we paid so little for SO MUCH! Everyone at Lake Arrowhead Resort was so friendly and helpful in planning our wedding. Our wedding coordinators, Becky and Gina, were wonderful. They would both respond to my emails and phone calls within the same day if not within the hour. They made my planning so easy and carefree I had no doubts that my wedding day would be perfect. We also got an amazing deal on guest accommodations! Our guests were from all over and everyone stayed at the resort. They couldn't believe how nice everything was and how beautiful the views were for the price they were paying to stay there. I stayed in the Eagle suite which had everything and more for a long weekend stay and plenty of space for me and my bridesmaids to get ready. Not only did it have gorgeous views and a balcony overlooking the lake but it also included a separate master bedroom with a fireplace and an on-suite bathroom. The bathroom had double vanity sinks, a separate large shower, deep jacuzzi tub, and separate toilet room. The rest of the suite included a living room with fireplace and plenty of seating, a separate dining room with a huge rustic table for 6, a minibar with sink, fridge, ice machine, and plenty of cupboard space, and there was even a second 1/2 bathroom. The ceremony site and reception room were perfect with beautiful views - our photos were gorgeous! The food was fabulous and cooked to perfection. The chef even accommodated our vegan and vegetarian guests with his own culinary creation at no extra cost. The only regret I have is that we didn't stay longer, I can't wait until we go back for one of our anniversaries. I highly recommend Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa for anyone looking for a gorgeous venue at a very reasonable price! You won't be disappointed!

We've made this place our special winter getaway for the last 6 years, so it was only fitting that we chose this place for our wedding. We've always said good things about this place to our friends, and come wedding day, it did not disappoint. We've always complimented on their service, and it sure shined bright on our wedding day! Actually, our wedding weekend for that matter! They took very good care of all of us that weekend, so much so that our guests had glowing reviews and expressed that they'd love to come back again!

Overall, Great experience. Everything looked exactly as we had discussed. Sometime they were a little slow at getting back to us.

Beautiful venue overlooking Lake Arrowhead!!

Unbelievable location!! The resort was fantastic and absolutely beautiful. Our wedding coordinator provided to us by the resort was Becky, she was amazing. She afforded us the opportunity to visit the resort on several occasions prior to the event and was extremely patient. She worked amazingly well with all of our vendors, was extremely flexible and was always there when you needed her. Our wedding went off without any problems and we couldn't have asked for anything more. Our ceremony was on the outdoor deck and our reception was in the grand ballroom. Th resort itself is beautiful and the employees from the doorman to the wedding coordinator were very professional, polite and always willing to assist you. Excellent choice.

The Lake Arrowhead Resort staff went above and beyond to make my wedding day (actually, my entire engagement experience) something special that represented my husband and myself. Shelly Barry and Beckey McNey, the catering manager and wedding coordinater, were outstanding. There was another coordinator helping plan the event through the beginning of our contract who was not as wonderful to work with but the resort fixed the problem before we felt the need to submit a complaint. Shelly and Beckey responded promptly to all questions asked by me, my fiance and my mother, who were all involved in planning our big day and they were very understanding with our concerns to stay within our budget. We did (a shock, I know)!

The rest of the staff at the resort were equally professional and helpful; the front desk diligently answered our many questions regarding room location, weather, etc. and we continue to hear praise from friends and family about the resort , its staff and the beautiful location.

Thanks to the staff at the Resort, our day was beautiful and everything we hoped it would be.

I fell in love with this venue, it was just what I dreamed of. It is pricey but totally worth the elegant atmosphere, the only negative would be the individual price for EVERYTHING, would be nice if they could just package together, and the coordinator stinks all the way up to the week of your event, then it is all about you.Not responsive to questions or concerns until they are ready to focus on you.

I would suggest a weeding planner for this venue, to stressful to try to deal with them yourself.

I didn't feel like the Wedding Coordinator wasn't very concerned with my wedding details or plans. We didn't really go over things before we needed to make the day go as smoothly as it could. Make sure everything is in writing, down to what is provided to you, projector screens, etc...because you don't want to have any miscommunication the day before the wedding and then scramble to find a vendor.

The location is beautiful. Everyone kept talking about the location. The food was okay as well. Parking is $18 per person, and to have free parking requires a little bit of a walk.

They were flexible and let us use the venue the night before so we can decorate. That was a great blessing.

The Resort was a beautiful location even though it was pricey for us. The ceremony was outside overlooking the lake w/the clouds in the background & a slight breeze - couldn't have been more perfect. They let you decorate as you wish so always check w/the location first on what they allow. The reception room was set up the day before so that we could decorate everything, although we had to decorate the outside the morning of the wedding. So I recommend that you delegate friends to decorate as you wish. Make lots of lists for everyone helping so they all now exactly what their tasks are.

Blast to work with, planner was excellent, a beautful location and they made the wedding day worry-free!

At the time of my wedding the resort was just being bought and therefore a lot of changes were taking place. At the time, it was not nearly as nice and upscale as it is today. However the event team did their best to satisfy our requests, work with our budget and make up for some of the difficulties with construction/changes. Beautiful setting, winter or summer.

Beautiful venue for receptions and lakeview wedding ceremonies. Loacted in the San Bernardino mountains and less than a two hour drive from anywhere in Southern California.

I have DJ at Lake Arrowhead Resort & Spa twice as of today and both times it has been a complete pleasure to work with the staff at Lake Arrowhead Resort & Spa. I am looking forward to returning soon.
