Land of Oz Wedding Invitations

Land of OZ is a great resource for the bride looking for a bargain. The offer 30% off invitations (and I think it's something like 15% off the other things like response cards and etc.). They have all the name brands, just lower prices! Don't be dissuaded by the "hole in the wall" appearance. Mike and Faye are great and very helpful! They are by appointment only, which is a little inconvenient, but it's worth it for the great deals they have. They are usually open (like I said, by appointment only) on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, but they will work it out with you if you can't make it one of those times. We bought 175 invitations with response cards with lined inner envelopes with our addresses pre-written on both the invitation envelopes and the response envelopes (big cost usually) for only about $370.00. Compared to what we were pricing online, this was a steal!! We got a “preview” of our invites for $5 per piece (cost from invitation company – Carlson Craft) and we are really glad we did it because we had to end up altering some things. We will be going back there to buy our programs!!

Lots of choices for any price range. They offer excellent discounts. The place is smoky and they have very odd hours though.

I can not say enough good things about this store! Land of Oz is known for their affordable invitations. When we walked in, they had over 50 books of invitations (complete with invite, reception card, RSVP card, all envelopes and the real thing so you could see EXACTLY what you were buying!). We told them a basic idea of what we were looking for and they found a bunch of matches for us. The pricing was AMAZING and they only took a week to come in. We had ordered a mock-up of the invitation and when we wanted to change something, they did it until it was completely the way we wanted it, no questions and free of charge. Both Mike and Fay were VERY professional and helped us out a ton!

Land of Oz is a little Mom and Pop shop in Cheviot. They don't have a lot of items on display and you can see the owner outside smoking a lot. But, they have tons of books to look through and they offer 30 to 40% off the prices in the books. They have a ton of invitation books and know the companies very well. They have been in the business for over 30 years and can recommend any vendor to you that does a great job for a good price. They are very personable and know their customers by name. They even remembered when I lost my sister during the planning process and asked about it when I called them for something several months later. I recommend them for personalized gifts, invitations, stationary, and any miscellaneous items you need. They can even get in dresses for bridesmaids and wedding dresses. Just tell them the size and brand of dress and they can order it in for a fraction of the cost of going to a boutique.

It was so nice to be able to go into a store with my fiance and look at books and taouch the papers and stuff. Everyone seems to order their invitations online now. I just really enjoyed that the owners were so knowlegeable. They knew what paper I should order that didn't cost alot but looked like it was expensive. They helped to recomend modern looking fonts to stick with our art deco type theme.

I love love love Land of Oz. They are so awesome. They offer really good prices and have a huge in store selection. They are very knowledgeable and can really help you choose the best invitations for you.

I was so glad that there are still good print shops left. Not everything should be ordered over the internet. I wanted to go in and open my invitation just as anyone would open them when we got them. We really loved the people at Land of Oz.

Land of Oz had a great selection. My wedding was holiday themed and they helped narrow down my choices with red and green and gold invitations. I ultimately picked them out myself but they helped alot. I would use them again.
