Sarah at Lasting Impressions is an invaluable addition to our wedding. You have no idea how much work goes into a wedding until you have one and it is overwhelming to say the least. I don't think I would have been able to have as good of a time as I did on our wedding day if it wasn't for her. I got to enjoy the guests and the day all because she was putting together all the details behind the scenes. She is definitely worth the money. She made me feel like the only wedding she was working on and I know she had way more brides to deal with than me.

Sarah is a godsend for a type-A control freak- once you turn over you lists and supplies you can truly trust that she’ll make everything work beautifully. If any issues come up, you won’t know about them, and she’ll make sure that they don’t affect your day. She’s an absolute joy to work with- she was referred to me by a former bride, and I’ve already referred her to my friends. That has to speak volumes about what a good job she does.

We rented chair covers for our reception from them. We were deciding between black or white chair covers and in order to better assist, since we lived out of state, they sent us many pictures of actual receptions. They even gave us decorating tips based on our choice. The chair covers made the reception look so much more elegant. (We went with black, by the way) Georgeous!

Sarah was a blessing while planning my wedding, she had great ideas and really helped transform my vision into a reality. Hire her for coordination was by far the best way we spent our wedding budget!

This was by far the best investment I made for our wedding! We hired Lasting Impressions as our day-of wedding planner and they were amazing! They took care of everything from confirming vendors the week of our wedding to taking our gifts back to our hotel. They directed us on what we needed to do and where we needed to go as well as set up all these little extra details that my mom and I had included, but none of our parents or anyone in our wedding party had to worry about any of those things all day long! They wouldn't even let me help them pick things up at the end of the night! They were also very accommodating with my challenging schedule since I was planning my MN wedding from Boston!

Sarah was absolutely phenomenal! I didn't have to do a thing on my wedding day other than smile and pose. I didn't have to do anything the day after, either, because she took everything back to my vendors. I couldn't believe how on-top of everything she was and her positive energy really helped get me through the day. We had a couple of mishaps that she took care of instantly, and she never broke a sweat! I can't say enough great things about my experience with Lasting Impressions!!

I interviewed few other planners before I met Sarah and I could not be happier with my final decision. I knew after first few minutes that I wanted to work with her. We had Lasting Impressions be our day of wedding coordinators. They did an amazing job! They came to our rehearsal, helped us run last minute errands the day of, set up all of our DYI projects and tore everything down at the end of the night. It was definitely worth the money to have our families enjoy the celebration and not have to worry about getting stuff put away or load items in a car. They were very organized, professional and they helped us keep on schedule and keep everything running smoothly. We simply gave instructions at the rehearsal and when we came to the reception everything was set up better than we could have imagined or have done ourselves.

Sarah was amazing to work with! We truly believe that hiring her for complete wedding planning was one of the best decisions we made during the whole process! We had a very large and complex wedding to plan over the course of a year and Sarah handled everything with ease and competence. She was also able to effectively problem-solve any issues we had. She was prompt in responding and following-up. In addition, she clearly has great relationships with all the vendors we went with and they all seemed to go the extra mile as a result. She was reassuring, funny, and genuine throughout the process. Sarah was always able to calm my anxiety and help me be realistic and practical. The day of the wedding, as well as the week leading up to it, people kept commenting how calm I was and I know it's because of her! I already miss her!

The best wedding decision I made was to have Lasting Impressions as my day of coordinator! Sarah and her team were easy to work with and available whenever I needed them in the months leading up to the wedding. My day was stress-free and went smoothly because of Sarah. This is the best idea and best use of money to ensure your big day is perfect!

Back in April, my mom met a woman while on vacation who was a mother of a recently-married bride. They struck up conversation given the commonality between them – daughters and marriage. She provided a tip for the wedding day, i.e., hire a day-of coordinator. My mom related a list of reasons why. I dismissed it. As a planner by profession (product, not weddings), I felt I had everything under control and had planned the wedding thus far – I was on top of it. One month before the wedding, the details and coordination of them became overwhelming, and the final planning stage was taking away from me savoring such a special time before our wedding day. I was up at night with a checklist playing in my mind of “to-do’s”. And, I had several unresolved pieces of the puzzle I wasn’t quite sure how to solve, including day-of logistics, transportation, and “who should be in charge of what” in bringing items from the church to the reception and the reception to our house.

Fast-forward to August 13th 2011, a wonderful day that will go down the record book as a perfect wedding for my husband and I. It was perfect because I was marrying my best friend first and foremost, but it was also perfectly seamless because of Sarah and her team stepping in to manage the last month of the wedding, details and the day of. My mom and her acquaintance’s advice was invaluable.

Lasting Impressions, from the beginning, demonstrated professionalism, attention to detail, passion and an ability to step right in and handle the last month and day of without question. The gift that Sarah and Andrea gave me, the latter of whom was the most amazing day of coordinator, was the gift of peace of mind, excitement, and as for the day of, a wonderfully-coordinated day.

I knew it was a good match when Sarah called me back within 5 minutes of my call to set up a meeting to determine if we were a good fit. And since then, I found that responsiveness was a core part of her character and business. I sent Sarah dozens of sporadic emails when wedding thoughts came to my mind, which in turn she collected and made sure were reflected in our day of plan and/or that she followed up on with the selected vendors. As for Andrea, talk about impressive! Andrea was there at the rehearsal and day of. I actually had individuals approach me at the wedding complimenting Andrea. And, when my discerning fiancé sees the value and extends compliments to the wedding coordination we received, it is telling of a great job and one well done.

On a side note, at my first meeting with Sarah, I mentioned an idea we had for Dairy Queen treats as a late night snack at the reception. My attempts to have DQ host an ice cream bar weren’t successful, and we were resolved to just have an ice chest filled with dilly bars and other treats. Sure enough, Sarah mentioned that she had a relationship with a DQ that delivered blizzards. How lucky were we? The blizzards were a hit.

And, Sarah and Lasting Impressions truly goes above and beyond. A week before the wedding, it became evident that my sister’s bridesmaid dress (which was ordered in January) wasn’t going to arrive in time. My attempts to remedy were not proving successful, and if there was ever a moment of pure frustration, this was it. Sarah hopped on the phone with the store for 1.5 hours, and sure enough, the dress showed up with just enough time for a quick alternation. I’m giving Sarah credit for that feat.

In general, I feel like the luckiest bride. I was able to work with the most wonderful vendors, and I’m convinced that the amazing day we had was because of everyone, and Lasting Impressions helped make the day perfect (and gave peace of mind to a wound-up bride).

Sarah and Lasting Impressions were great for us. We knew she would be a good fit when we interviewed soon after we got engaged, and she was with us through the entire planning process. Her knowledge of vendors and other professionals was invaluable and saved us uncalculable time. From our first meeting with Sarah, we knew she would be great. When interviewing other wedding planners, we felt like we were just another client or "job", but with Sarah it really felt like we were working with a friend, but a professional nonetheless! She gave us invaluable advice about anything and everything wedding related from what vendors to choose, what food choices would work best at the reception, how/where to cut costs without changing the look/feel, etc. She made a conscious effort to help us stay within our budget and created an organized spreadsheet of all expenses, and reminded us when all our vendors needed to be paid. Sarah was always incredibly prompt with replying to our questions and requests, always emailing or calling us back the same day. We were planning our wedding from out of town, so she did a great job coordinating various meetings with vendors during our short trips home. She created a day-of timeline which was down to the minute, and gave both us and all our vendors a copy well in advance so everyone knew where they were supposed to be and when. On our wedding day, she made sure that everything ran smoothly and perfectly, and took care of all the behind the scenes details so we could really feel like a guest at our own wedding and enjoy every minute of the day withour worrying about last minute details. Sarah helped us create a beautiful, fun, stress-free wedding day. She helped us turn our visions into a reality, giving suggestions as needed but not changing our overall vision. Thanks to Sarah, our wedding day was absolutely perfect, and it would not have been the same without her help!

Sarah was masterful at defusing conflict by asking the right questions. She is very organized, knows good contractors, and is pleasant through it all. Recommended by a neighbor- best decision we made.

I was in at the end of my rope when my mother recommended that I get a wedding planner. I never thought I could afford a planner, but I emailed Sarah at Lasting Impressions just to see what she would say. Without a dobut, I felt relieved and stress free when she started to help me. I was skeptical about hiring a wedding planner for my first daughter's wedding. But after meeting Sarah at Lasting Impressions, it was clear that we needed her. So when our second daughter was engaged, we actually picked the wedding date around Sarah's schedule. Professional, honest and hard-working, she always tried to keep us on task. Her recommendations were helpful and vendors speak highly of her. Our venue assistant said he has never seen anyone work so hard. She took the stress out of wedding day for our family so we could enjoy ourselves and our guests. She became a friend to our family and was gracious to our family and guests.

There are a lot of vendors out there who charge through the roof for day-of wedding planning/coordination, but not at Lasting Impressions. Of all the things I spent money on for my wedding, this was one of those things I believe was so worth the money.
The night before the wedding, I handed all control over to Sarah and thus was able to fully enjoy my wedding. Even when the florist completely dissapointed me, Sarah gathered up my bridesmaids and made things more beautiful to the best of her ability - all without me asking. Sarah does everything in her power to make sure your wedding comes off the way you want it to and gives you the freedom to enjoy your day. She does alll of this with a smile on her face and calm but confident attitude. Look no further for your wedding planner ... you've found the best.

We hired Sarah for the day of as to not put extra work on family and friends so they could enjoy themselves too. The best thing we did as far as wedding planning. We were having an outdoor ceremony which due to the weather ended up an indoor ceremony. The day went on without any problems. We had a great time without a care which is how it should be. All the married girls at the wedding wished they would have had Sarah for their wedding and single girls said she's great where did you find her! Girls you need to include a wedding planner in your budget it's like a spa treatment splurge sometimes you just have to have it.

I hired Lasting Impressions only 5 months before the wedding. I had nothing planned at the time I hired them and I was very happy with how quickly Sarah worked and how professional the whole experience was. I knew I needed help, but not until it was done did I realize that I would have not been able to do it living in a different state with them.

We hired Sarah for the day of the wedding and I am so glad we did. She was extremely helpful in taking care of all the small details that would have had us running around until the last minute. I had some issues with the ceremony site and photographer and she took care of them immediately. She was available before the wedding and got back to me immediately on any questions I had. Due to planning from another state, we didn't meet her until right before the wedding. I felt like she knew exactly what we were looking for. Definitely made the day less stressful for us!

Hiring Sarah was probably the best decision we made during our wedding planning process. She allowed for us to actually enjoy our wedding day--stress free!! I was able to spend the morning getting ready with my wedding party, knowing that Sarah was taking care of all communication and set up with my vendors. My wedding turned out absolutely incredible and I owe a lot of that to Sarah and her team. She knows how to put together a classy, elegant wedding and she really listened to my vision. Sarah was one of the few vendors even willing to speak with me when I given our budget (excuse me for not wanting to spend over 10k) and the ideas and advice she gave were more than wonderful. Not only that, when we suddenly changed our plans from a big local wedding at Gale Woods to a small intimate destination wedding weekend, she didn't bat an eye. We switched gears and the wedding was as beuatiful (or more) than we had hoped for! Sarah is innovative, creative and practical - she will cater to YOUR needs. Not only that you will love her personality and how accomodating she will be...Sarah and I worked side by side - I am a control freak and she was okay with that! When I was havign a meltdown over this or that, she would talk me off my ledge. When the day came and went, a part of me was sad because I felt like I was losing this great person...I can happily report that we stay in touch...I check out her site and blog every now and then and will say this - it is beautiful, but still doesn't even tell you the half of what you are getting with her.

I can not even put into words how important it was to have a wedding planner and Sarah and Meghan did a great job. She was very responsive and got back to me right away. The day after the wedding I remember my mother saying "How would have you done it on your own" I am still thinking the same thing.... Sarah did a great job turning my vision into reality!

My review is from the point of view of the Mother of the Bride. I was 4 states away and while I did much of the planning from a distance, pulling it all together was proving to be a huge challenge. This is where Sarah with Lasting Impressions came in. We booked her for the day of the wedding to help keep us all on track. She was there the day before to set up our reception venue and on the spot for the day of the wedding. (I swear she managed to be two places at once!) Despite being locked out of the reception venue (YIKES!) she managed to track down someone to unlock our space in record time before guests arrived and no one was the wiser. She gave us very good advice, helped sort out the things that were non-issues with a calm attitude and just the right amount of humor. IF I could do it over, I would strongly consider turning over the entire planning to Sarah and her staff. Sarah did an amazing job for me and my husband. We started to work with her over a year ago and she was there throughout the whole planning process with great ideas and wonderful service. In my quest to find the right person with the right budget I found Sarah. I interviewed several planners and found Sarah to be the perfect fit. We worked with Sarah throughout our planning process and at that point had only found the venue and caterer, which happened to come together. Even though we technically purchased the partial service plan, Sarah was there to help with anything we needed from the moment we started working together. Her recommendations for other vendors was spot on and we ended up picking her highest recommended every time, even though I exhausted my research with other vendors.
