Laura was the perfect planner!She listened to what we had envisioned for our wedding day and executed it perfectly. When I had a last minute crisis or problem pop up she always offered a clever and creative solution. When I first started planning our wedding I did not think I needed a planner but as I started realizing all of the details of the day I started to get overwhelmed. Laura offers the perfect balance of supporting the ideas your already have and helping you create new ones. It was the best gift to myself because Laura offers a stress free wedding day- if a problem pops up she makes a great judgement call which allows you and your family to enjoy the once in a lifetime day! She is professional, honest, and loyal!

At first, I didn't see the logic in spending money on a wedding planner. I thought that I could do it all on my own. But, after hiring Laura Birney, I realized that there were so many little details that go into a wedding that there was no way I could do it by myself. Laura made sure that all of my wedding dreams came true and she helped alleviate so much stress by being the go between with my other vendors. If there were any mishaps or fires that had to be put out during my wedding I never knew about any of them. Laura is a kind, loving, creative planner that focuses on detail and really listens to you. I cannot imagine my wedding day without Laura Birney next to me and I would recommend her services to any bride who wants her dream wedding to become a reality... even the reluctant bride who doesn't think she needs a planner!

My florists recommended Laura to me as a rehearsal and day of wedding coordinator, since I had already had my plans and other vendors set. She said she was easy to work with and would do an excellent job. Boy was she ever right!! I could not have been any happier with the job Laura did. Laura worked with our budget, as small as it was, but went above and beyond the money she received. She was professional, kind, caring, and easy to work with. She checked in with me several times before and after the wedding to make sure I had all I needed, not to mention the months/days prior to the wedding. I didn't have to worry about what was going on with any of the vendors or my guests as Laura saw to it that I had no worries or troubles on my special day. If there was any chaos I wasn't aware of it. I was able to enjoy my day with my new husband, family, and friends. I truly don't know what I would've done without her. She is a blessing and I'd highly recommend her to anyone!

Laura was such a huge asset to our wedding. Before we hired her as our coordinator, we felt in over our heads and more than a little stressed! Laura totally relieved that stress and we were able to got back to enjoying the wedding planning process. She was invaluable to helping us with a much needed venue change. Not to mention the paper products she made (programs, table numbers, wine bottle labels, signage, ect.) were absolutely beautiful! Laura was so awesome in helping our wedding run smoothly and I would recommend her to anyone!

When the bride hired Laura as her wedding planner, I asked if I could also use her to help with the rehearsal dinner after trying to deal with the resort myself and not getting answers. There were so many last minute changes and her knowledge and expertise helped with all of the decisions during a stressful last week. The rehearsal dinner and wedding were a complete success and would not have been possible without her.

Laura Birney provided outstanding day-of coordination services for our wedding. It was a decent sized wedding with a lot of moving parts, but everything went so smoothly! She is a real pro and a joy to work with. I heartily recommend her to anyone looking for a coordinator.

Laura Birney with Laura Birney Events is an absolute pleasure to work with and very intuitive and helpful to the whole team of event professionals. As a Wedding DJ and Master of Ceremonies, I often have events where my bride has contracted a wedding coordinator for planning and event coordination after my own planning meeting directly with the bride. Sometimes the result is a last minute major change with an entirely different timeline that alters the Entertainment agenda as previously communicated. At a recent event for a repeat family, my pre-event jitters were quickly put to rest with Laura! Her timeline sent to me a few days prior to the event was right on with my own timeline which told me that she took the time like I did to sit down with the client and really listen to their overall vision. During the event, she was magically everywhere all of the time and handled herself with the utmost confidence. She totally understood the event space along with the catering service and coordinated all aspects of the timeline flawlessly. She was the first one there and the last to leave and she simply let each vendor do their jobs as prepared! Every team needs a great Head Coach and the Quarterback doesn't want to fumble the ball or get sacked in the spotlight because the wrong play was called in from the sidelines! I look forward to working with her and her crew again and will highly recommend her services.

GLOW has done a zillion weddings and worked with about as many wedding planners. Laura goes to the top of our list. First and foremost, she's fun, friendly, and nice. Wedding receptions can be stressful and often changes must be made with lighting speed. Laura calmly and gracefully helps the vendors, band, and facility work together to maneuver around obstacles. Some planners bully their way around. Not Laura. She's so nice, everyone wants to help. We become part of her team with the common goal of making the wedding the absolute best is can be. She is detailed to the max so we, the band, know exactly what to do when, where, and how.
