Laurel Hall was an amazing location to get married at! My husband and I loved the scenic and historic mansion. We were married in the 3rd floor chapel and had our reception on the main level. Our first dance took place outside on the veranda! I would recommend Laurel Hall to anyone.

This is a ceremony/reception site. It is a large, historic mansion that is tucked away back in the woods. The mansion is actually owned by a Fraternity and the "Legacy" feeling is present. It is very classy, very chic. There are beautiful garden spaces and patios outdoors as well as gorgeous halls inside. There is a grand staircase perfect for all brides.
There is limited space (120-150) and the price tag is beyond belief (around 5,000 just for the rental of the space). If money were not an issue, and our quest list was small, this would be a wonderful option, but I felt like it was unrealistic.
It was also hard to communicate with the location. It is important to be sure that you would look up the number and get a hold of the event planner well in advance to set up an appointment.

The site is beautiful and well worth the cost. The only downfall was that our planner for the hall was not able to be there on the day of the wedding, leaving us with someone that we did not know and did not know what was going on. The other downfall was that they had told us that they would provide ashtrays for our guests who were smokers, and instead of that they posted one of the big bins for cigarette butts, behind a wall that guests could not find.

We loved Laurel Hall. It was perfect for our guest list of 40 people and we are very glad we chose it. All of our guests enjoyed walking around and looking at all of the details.
The only complaints I have: We had a few older guests who were not able to go up the stairs to the chapel which was available for an additional "add-on" discounted rate. We could use another room for full price, but could not receive a discount on a ceremony room like the chapel, which we physically could not use. It didn't seem quite fair for the elderly or disabled. We did all of our planning with Stephanie and then found out last minute that someone else would be there for our wedding. It ended up being a third person who we also had never met.

We loved working with Stephanie and the other staff at Laurel Hall. It happens to be right down the street from where we live so we knew that we wanted to get married there. It was everything that we dreamed it would be and more. Our wedding looked like we spent twice as much money as we actually did. Laurel Hall provided a sophisticated backdrop for our special day.

I absolutely loved having my ceremony and reception at Laurel Hall. It is such a unique spot.
The only downside was when there was some confusion regarding the dates I had secured...and they tried to put someone else in on the same weekend (when I had reserved the space for the entire weekend). Everything worked out in the end and they stayed true to their guarantee with me.
Also, the bridal suite is an amazing space for a bride to get ready...it is so beautiful and feminine.
The groom and other men got ready in the antique library which was perfect for my husband!
There are so many unique aspects to the space, from the front porch to the lawn, stained glass windows, etc. You have to see it for yourself.
As I read in another review, Stephanie worked with me to prepare my special day, but was not available on my wedding day. There was a man in charge, whom I had never met or spoken to. I would have preferred to meet him before the weekend of my wedding. He was accomodating though.

This place has the most beautiful chapel on the 3rd floor and is AMAZING for the cost. There are several other places on the facility that you can use. The building is just beautiful and the staircase that you climb to get to the chapel is stunning! The bridal room makes you feel like a queen and there is plenty of space for you and all your bridesmaids to get ready. I had 5 bridesmaids in my room, along with my photographer, brother, 2 flower girls and my now sister in law. Just amazing!!
