Lauren photographed our wedding, and was the ultimate photographer for us for three important reasons:

Style: He photojournalistic style captured both our emotions and everyone else's. Our pictures include all the essential moments: from my husband wiping a single tear from his eye during the ceremony to my matron of honor getting down on the dance floor. And you honestly never know she is there! Our ceremony photos make me wonder if she can actually fly.

Personality: Lauren obviously loves weddings and knows brides. I was a nervous wreck, but the pictures don't show that. She works quickly and quietly, and after the first few moments I totally forgot she was there, even though I was getting dressed in my tiny childhood bedroom! Our wedding was in August in Western New York, with all the accompanying heat and humidity. Lauren never complained, never faded, and made it look like we didn't either!

Artistry: Lauren not only has an eye for details and moments, but she frames them and captures them beautifully. She takes time to edit each photograph before she sends them to you, and the effort she puts into it really shows. The finished product is absolutely breathtaking!

I can't recommend Lauren enough. She's the whole package!

What do your packages include?

Do you have liability insurance?

Yes

Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?

Yes. I have shot in a wide range of locations with all kinds of lighting. I know how to asses a location and create beautiful photographs!

Is your media preference film or digital?

Digital. I own a Canon 5D Mark II

Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?

Absolutely.

Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?

Never more than one event in a day. I probably book 2 weddings in one weekend once a year.

Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?

I will work with my network of photographers in the Seattle area to find someone who can shoot your wedding. If I am unsuccessful you will receive 100% of your money back. I have never had to not do a wedding though.

What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?

Many Canon L lenses, 2 camera bodies, 2 speedlite flashes, memory cards, a reflector, etc.

Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?

Yes.

Do you charge hourly or full day?

I have 2 options. Half day or Full day. I can add hours to the half day if need be. Then I charge an hourly rate.

What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?

I do require the client provide a meal.

Do you charge for travel?

I charge for travel if the wedding is far enough that I need to stay in a hotel room.

Will images be available for viewing online?

Yes. Every wedding gets a password protected online gallery for viewing and/or purchasing of prints.
