Lava Lava Beach Club

Queue the music, enter the whales and jumping dolphins in the background, bring in the rainbow, and start the prettiest sunset you'll ever see in your life. I can put a price tag on all the crazy material things (tent, chairs, food, favors, etc.) we had for our event, but the warm weather, the rainbow, playing whales in the background, and the amazing sunset overlooking the ocean were priceless. I just had our wedding at Lava Lava Beach Club and I had no idea I would get to share this special day with our close friends and family with soo many other special things that I think one would only experience at LLBC.

Our wedding was held on the grassed lawn, which is just steps from the beach. LLBC was able to accommodate our wedding ceremony and reception for about 65 guests. The lawn was far enough from the restaurant but we were still able to use their washrooms and walk around their beach front. We didn't hear the music coming from the restaurant during our reception and there was plenty of parking for both our guests and the restaurant goers.

We also booked one of the beach front cottages for the night of the wedding. We ended up splurging to stay at the Manoa cottage and we were able to use it to prep for the wedding. If we could live luxuriously for another day, I would stay another night at that cottage which has a romantic outdoor shower, a large front porch, and lovely ocean decorations and furniture.

The Big Island's newest beachfront venue, Lava Lava Beach Club is an idealitic spot for a wedding celebration. Rent one of the Oceanfront Cottages (Hale's) just steps from the Pacific Ocean for the ceremony and/or reception. The restaurant can accommodate a group of up to 28 guests for lunch or dinner on the beach adjacent to the outdoor dining area. For larger receptions, or a customized event, Paradise Gourmet is pleased to be the exclusive caterer.
